Mid City Motor Inn Queanbeyan

Cosy, comfy, quiet, old school motel, comfy double bed, helpful friendly reception who printed out bus timetables for taking the bus to & from the city, bus stop nearby & easy to access, $4.40 one way to cbd, took 1/2 hr, use of laundry was great, $4 wash or dry, close to variety of eating & shopping centre, central heating via wall radiator comes on in rooms at 4.30pm, we found it more than warm enough, reception gave instructions for turning off as necessary, heat pump in room as well.

Great location - several places to eat dinner and breakfast within a very short walk. Also 3 minute walk to Coles and shopping centre. The cafe across the road was excellent for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bed was a little firm and I could feel the outline of the electric blanket (I didn't need it - the bedding was lovely and warm). Still had a good night's sleep.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was decent size and spotless. Stayed three nights and room was cleaned completely everyday which is not something that happens everywhere these days, It is an older motel and a bit dated but because it is so well maintained you dont notice at all. Right in the centre of town, so close to everything and relatively quiet. If you have to stay in Queanbeyan instead of Canberra this is the place to stay.

Great value hotel! Typical motel-style room but lots of attention to detail and amenities (e.g. cutlery, microwave, tea/coffee making, wine glasses). The bathroom was absolutely spotless and well stocked with amenities. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in the presentation of their product which was nice to see!

It was wonderful to have a little bottle of milk instead of those awful tiny UHT's. The place was lovely and clean. The heater was on and the room warm (very cold weather of late). It was practically next door to the conference, which was fantastic. They let us leave the cars there until the afternoon after booking out in the morning. This is the first time and went to the conference and I would immediately book there again. Thank you.

The owner was very accommodating, she was lovely and friendly, all the staff were nice and friendly. The Room had everything we needed, and more had plenty of space. It was also clean. close to shops, pub restaurants, and public transport. Thanks, Mum, and I had a great stay. 😁👍

We stayed here to attend the Queanbeyan Rodeo. Very close to the showground and within walking distance. Nice pub on the corner en route the Showground for dinner. The Royal Hotel. Approx 50m from Motel. This Motel was also a sponsor of the Rodeo. Will be back again next year! Owner also organised late check out for us if we wanted it.

Was greeted by a lovely woman at reception. Loved the building and all the beautiful vines on the balcony, seemed very homely. I’d also unintentionally left a dirty Tupperware container out from lunch and when I returned the following evening it had been cleaned.

We have stayed here before and found it convenient. Cafes , restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance. The lady at reception was very nice and friendly. Your room was tidied up every day and fresh towels were provided.

The smell of cigarette smoke coming under the door even though I put down the draught excluder...it was so strong I could "taste" it 😬
