Parkway Motel

We were in room 11 Room was a little bit old fashioned. Room was very spacious. Electric blankets were provided but only one side worked to its full potential(one closest to bathroom). There was an extra blanket to use if required. Extra pillows were available. There was a rotating vertical heater , which was great

Not enough power points available to use USB plugs , all were either to high up or too low to counter for use of the plug. Air Conditioning was a little bit hard to use. Bathroom was a bit cold, no heater lamp or exhaust fan

There was a table with two chairs. No extra fluffy cushions cluttering up the bed. It was good to have crockery and cutlery, a fridge and a microwave. The staff went to a lot of trouble to let me know that they were going out to a family function, but they would leave the key in the unit if I arrived after 6pm. Quiet environment. A beautiful tree outside the window gave a very rural feel!

Reverse cycle air conditioner was noisy. I was a bit cool - there was probably extra bedding in the cupboard but I didn't wake up enough to check. Parking was a bit tight for a utility, but was good to be able to park right outside the unit.

Needed a reasonably priced hotel close to Canberra airport just for the night and this place looked OK. The owners were friendly and the room was fine with a good hot shower. Plenty of food options very close by and very handy to Woolworths , Kmart and Aldi where I had to collect things. Flight was delayed by nearly 2 hours and owners had no issue with me checking out an hour late. Highly recommended.

Quiet location just over the street from QBNs pleasant main park and oval. Both main room and bathroom very clean, no issues with TV, fridge ect :) Heated blankets and secure parking Excellent value imo.

No great issues, we couldn't get the reverse-cycle to heat, not saying it doesn't work, not used one in a while. Slight problem on check-in as I'd left the bank card at home, (after paying online) but sorted it out, actually appreciate the owners taking the time to make sure we're genuine.

I absolutely loved this place! Well above my expectations. The staff were lovely and accommodating for my needs. The rooms are clean and well equipted. I travelled from Brisbane to Canberra and this place was my home away from home!

Only issue i had which was not even an issue is the shower took forever to get warm, just a heads up 🤣

Bed was comfortable and warm enough with the extra blanket. Room was very well cleaned. Host was friendly, polite and efficient. Great value for the low price and good location.

There was no face washer or shampoo/conditioner which caught me off guard. I wish I had known. Water pressure was very weak and hot water took a long while to come through. A dinner plate to go with the knife and fork would've been ideal. A bowl and a bread and butter plate was provided so maybe the dinner plate was temporarily missing in my room. I had a smoker next door and the smoke ended up in my room somehow.

Great location for the event I was attending. Central and close to restaurants. Will be back next year when similar events are expected to be held.

The room smelled of bleach on arival due to deep cleaning but the quickly dissipated and reinforced my thoughts on the cleanliness. Inspired confidence.

Very clean for overnight stay. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Room met our needs of a family of 5 beds were clean, comfortable with enough pillows, warm blankets and electric blankets for these cold nights. We would go back. Staff lovely and friendly..thank you

Not much really..maybe a sink to wash our dishes but not really a great deal.

It is very well positioned clode to cbd and opposite the towm park

That my room was located very close to several other rooms occupied by workers who all left very early so eoke me with vehicles starting , closing of doors & conversation befote dawn

Convenient location.

Hot water took for ever too come through.
