Yamba Beach Motel

It was close to the beach and only a short trip to the centre of town. We were very appreciative of the microwave, cutlery and crockery. We bought 2 frozen meals from the supermarket and could heat them in the microwave. The minibar had a nice red at a reasonable price so we saved money and were able to have breakfast out the next day.

I felt the name Yamba Beach Motel was misleading. All we saw from the windows was other houses. I don’t like that motels do not tell you your room is upstairs and there are no lifts. On the other hand the receptionist was very kind and carried our bags up to our room.

This place was on the smaller side, it was very homey and in a great location. It was very comfortable and extremely clean in our room and in all common areas, I couldn't fault any disappointment in those areas. It had everything you need for a stop over and would definitely stay here longer next time. I t was one of my favourite places we have stayed in the past 2 weeks of holidaying. The bed was comfortable and lovely fresh linen. It had air con and a ceiling fan which wasn't needed , it was lovely sleeping with the balcony door open. It was a very short drive to the town centre, and a lovely fish n chips shop. Wonderful job by the cleaners they deserve a shout out.

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly and responsive, and it was an easy check-in even though we arrived very late at night. Great for a night's stay in Yamba.

The shower had a very small tray for putting toiletries and it was tilting downwards, which made it difficult to put toiletries on. But otherwise the bathroom was lovely. The parking space at the Motel was not marked clearly. Couldn't find it at night, and also there were no empty slots when we arrived at night. But just on the adjacent street there seemed to be free street parking, so it was not a problem, but it would be great if the accommodation could include this parking information when we confirmed our booking.

Location was excellent, not far from the town centre but up a hill. Very pleasant reception staff. Room was comfortable, not huge but that wasn't a concern as it had everything I needed. Laundry available ($). Restaurant attached (independently run) provided room service to motel guests which was very convenient. Food very good. Only stayed one night but wouldn't hesitate to return.

Very minor irritation: no lift. Had to carry luggage upstairs. Not a issue for me but may be for some travellers.

Great location just a 2 minute walk to the beach and ocean pool. The beach kiosk has great coffee and breakfast offerings and freshly made juices. It was a 5 minute walk to the hotel where the food was very good and a 10 minute walk to the town for lots of choices for eating. Bit of a hilly walk back but it helped to walk off some of the great meals we had! Our room had a lovely outlook over a park with partial views of the ocean and distant coastline which we enjoyed from our balcony. Very comfy bed and pillows and our room was serviced daily and after 4 days they did a thorough clean of the room and bathroom. Great staff who helped with dining suggestions and phoned for bookings for us. Also beach towels were provided for which we were appreciative. Cleaning staff were also very pleasant and very thorough. Everything throughout the property was spotless.

The only one thing a tiny bit inconvenient was not providing dinner sized plates for eating in the room. There were bowls and small side plates. We only brought food in twice but it was a bit of a juggle with no large plates.

Excellent boutique motel with attractive and freshly renovated ensuites and bedrooms, with balconies. I revisited on my journey back south as it was so lovely and in an excellent location just above the beach. Cafes nearby. Huge bonus was a superb French restaurant as part of the hotel w attractive internal seating, outdoor pavement tables with a view and gentle French music playing, very atmospheric!

Good location, most rooms would have beach view. Friendly Staff. pool offered alternative to beach for quick dip/cooling off or when beach closed. walking distance go centre of town and cafes/restaurants. Laundry Facilities available for guests to use.

limited bench/shelf space in bathroom (but otherwise functional) a couple of minor issues that maintenance needed to look at. (staff happy to have these addressed once they were brought to their attention) As beach area possibly add an outdoor shower so guests can have option to shower off beach sand before going to their rooms. This will assist housekeeping also with less sand being brought into the buildings and could easily be located near entry gate into pool area.

Fabulous location right near Yamba main beach. Balcony apartment with decent views. Room was super clean with fan and AC for those warmer nights. Well stocked mini bar with very reasonable prices. Great French style restaurant out front and easy walk to all major landmarks & attractions. I used this as a transit stop between Brisbane and Newcastle; perfect to break up a long drive. Front desk staff made it super quick to check in!

Room was comfortable, location great. Liked that it had own cutlery and plates. Had a nice feel to it, balcony was good. Staff very friendly.

Room a bit hot, as on top floor and faced west. So had to use AC a bit. One other thing the restaurant associated with the motel was pretentious eg couldn't just have coffee and toast for breakfast, needed a full meal.

This motel is the best I've stayed in NSW. The room was light and big and bright with plenty of space for hanging clothes and a huge bathroom. Beautifully decorated with gorgeous prints and a great fridge, cutlery, quality crockery and huge fluffy white bath towels. The room was immaculate and very quiet. Good media, fast wifi, absolute comfort and ease all round! Easy walk to cute beach and town for coffee and a bucket of Yamba prawns.

There was not one thing I didn't like about this stay.
