Hotel Central

The location is great. Just outside of the centre so walking distance to everything. The staff of the front desk were really friendly and remembered our names going in and out of the hotel. I booked parking in advance at a reduced rate in the hotel's car park which was really convenient too. The room was clean, if not a little dated, but we didn't spend much time in it so it wasn't a problem for us. We asked for rooms next door to each other and we got that which was a huge relief, when you have your kids with you.

There is no air conditioning and we stayed in July so the room was very hot. The staff supplied us with a fan. There is lots of building work going on during the day around the hotel, which, when we opened the window for fresh air was quite noisy. Again, we didn't spend too much time in the room so not a huge problem.

great location to explore the old town which was buzzing on a hot summer evening. lovely and quiet room and bed were fabulous - lovely bed linen makes all the difference for a good night’s sleep very nice breakfast with lots of choice but we weren’t late down by any means and lots had clearly not been replenished we loved the bathroom area, shower, and body sensitive lighting, very impressive

unfortunately we paid extra for a “superior room with balcony” - the main blind was badly broken, the balcony was a joke. dirty, thick dust, bird muck all over, dangerously wobbly railing that hadn’t seen paint for years. it was repaired when we asked but considering the state of the room and balcony when we arrived, we still had to pay full price and weren’t able to be moved the “view” considering the beauty all around was just a square of quite ugly apartments , some of which were in the process of being demolished so the bulldozers were in full swing… city tax and parking on top of the room rate bumps up the price

Hotel Central’s location and staff were both terrific! While the bathrooms were under equipped with basic personal products and there was no AC, the location and friendly staff more than made up for it! We could see the mountains from our room and walk to the bus, train station, or Maria-T Strasse in ~5 minutes or less! And I highly recommend including breakfast in your reservation. Cafe Central does a very nice breakfast!

The bathrooms were very clean, but there were no personal products apart from a soap dispenser (eg. no shampoo or conditioner) so we had to go buy them at a nearby pharmacy …because the hotel sold them for an extra 12 euros!

Fantastic electric bike hire included. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Opulent reception area and cafe. Standard but comfortable twin room. Big range at buffet breakfast.

Shame that the hotel isn't part of the 'Innsbruck welcome card' scheme that allows you free public transport and a cable car trip when staying several nights. I didn't realise when i booked that most hotels do that in Innsbruck. Wifi signal was poor in our room. No kettle or coffee facilities ( you could ask for a thermos of hot water at reception)

Where do I begin??! The location was absolutely perfect and smack in the middle of the town center. Everything was walking distance, shops, mall, restaurants etc. it was SUCH a classy hotel, and so clean. Staff was so friendly and we felt so comfortable, we wanted to stay extra days! The breakfast was also excellent!! Two thumbs up from both me and my husband 👍👍👍👍

I do wish they had A/C and free parking. The room felt good, but Innsbruck was a little chilly, so room felt nice; and the room also had a fan which we used. The garage was very close to the hotel, and reasonably priced, it it would have been nice if parking was included. Loading suitcases in the car when my husband drove out of the garage was challenging. Even still, this hotel gets a 10 and I will stay there again👍

Great location in the middle of the city. You do not need public transport if you live here. Innsbruck public transport is fairly poor. Anyways, so best avoided. The room had air-conditioning, which really helped in the Austrian heatwave condition. The staff were very helpful and kind.

The cleaning staff is absolutely shambolic in this joint. Toilets aren't cleaned properly. Fresh towels, when provided, have a hair in them showing they haven't been laundered properly. We had 2 toilets in our room, and one had permanent black markings from water leaking from the cistern. The shower + bathtub setup was horrible. The shower drain was so choked up with filth that the water took time to drain. One of the sliding doors did not close properly it had so much grime under it.

The location is the perfect! In the center of Innsbruck, it is just next to the main street - maria theresien straße The reception people are so friendly and nice, especially Ms. Melissa. Because we only have limited timing in Innsbruck, she is so kind to explain the travel guides to help us get perfect experience in Innsbruck!

The parking location is not easy to find. Even the address is Wilhelm-Greil-straße 10, but the real entrance is on the way to the Exit of Garage Zentral. Unfortunately, I spent almost half an hour to figure the real entrance. So I wonder it is better to have picture instruction in the hotel description.

The hotel has a great location, as it says in the centre of everything. You do not need to use public transport at all to reach all the attractions. It is an easy 10 minute walk from the station. We were on the fourth floor and had a view of the spectacular snow covered peaks looming over this beautiful city. The room was large, with plenty of storage space and modern fittings. The café downstairs is very good.

They provide tea and coffee, but not electric jug, although one is available. The fridge was the smallest I can recall seeing, but overall these were minor things that didn’t really detract from our stay.

Darius, Maximilian & the fellow who had curly hair ((sorry I can’t recall his name) - these three provided my family outstanding service. They always answered our questions with a smile and enthusiasm. They are first class & well-trained to provide excellent service. We were absolutely delighted by their kindness.

A small thing to help improve your rooms: the space under the beds need to be swept and/or vacuumed regularly. I had to peek under the bed to look for my cell phone that fell… What I saw underneath was dirty. The beds roll away, so it should be easy to clean the space under the bed.

Restaurant/cafe/bar.Within minutes of the old town with many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.Plenty of storage in the bedroom.Bath and shower but really meant for showering not comfortable to lie in.

Very poor WiFi with no password.Breakfast according to Booking.com was €15.00 but hotel were charging €19.00.So I ate in their cafe.Cost me €12.50 for very large coffee,orange juice and roll and jam.
