Hotel Seppl

We chose Hotel Seppl with my family for overnight stay on our way to Italy and couldn't have chosen better. First of all: Location. Hotel is located in very calm environment with beautiful views of Innsbruck and surrounding mountains. Hotel garden and property is really nice and well maintained. Staff was helpful and especially the lady on front desk was really nice and explained us everything important. Room we got was spacious, clean and well prepared (extra bed + baby crib) and view from our balcony was stunning. We slept really well which helped us the next day when we continued our journey. Despite this was only overnight destination we liked it so much that we've decided to come back there and spend couple more days at Hotel Seppl in near future.

Everything was perfect. But if I could mention one disadvantage it would be price for EV charging which is 15 EUR per charging of battery EV. It may make (economic) sense if you arrive with completely discharged car, but in other cases it is better to use commercial chargers which are faster and cheaper. Please consider changing the price for charging.

The staff is exceptional. Especially Rosa & Maryna went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I was offered welcome card on arrival which covered public transport, trains to an extent & a cable car trip. Rosa gave us extra discounts on Mountain carts. The pool and the pond outside were very relaxing & rejuvenating! Most of all you wake up to scenic & gorgeous views. They accomodated my 2 children on the extra sofa bed when I requested. Amazing staff & exceptional service! Would definitely come back here

There were no Acs, mostly this area is colder so u might not need them but when I visited particularly it was hot weather and it was hard to sleep without an Ac.

It's a good hotel with excellent location, nice stuff and good connection to Innsbruck. The food was very good. Both waitresses were nice and watched the guests (our son is allergic and they took care of his food). The local tram (STB) is unexceptional: it rides in a wild, beautiful countryside. The hotel is in the middle of this tram line, so you can use it to ride down to the city or up to the mountains. The stuff was helpful (we don't speak German) and nice. The room (we took an Edelweiss Suit) was not small, but odd structure (an additional open bathroom). And as I said: always book on the Northern side of the hotel. Our room was in the South and the view was not bad, but northern rooms has much better view. And north rooms are not so warm in Summer, The inside and outside pools are lifesaver in a hot summer. And both are very moody and enjoyable.

There was nothing bad, but some weird thing: the TV was broken and not connected. One of the window (above the open bathtube) didn't have shadow curtains and there is a spotlight outside of the hotel what is targeted our room, so at night the room is always bright. (we hiked a lot in the mountains, so we were tired enough to not be disturbed by this bright, but still...

Service level at breakfast was sub-par. I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for a coffee refill, and ask twice. Also, the night I stayed, there was no dinner available at the hotel because apparently some large group was staying there and they were the only ones allowed into the restaurant. I ended up having to go into town and find the only restaurant open (it was a Sunday evening), which wasn't particularly good food. When an amenity such as 'restaurant' is listed on the website, I'd expect to be able to go into the restaurant and have dinner, regardless of the number of guests staying in the hotel.

This was our second time staying here. Seeta/Sita on reception was an exceptional member of staff from beginning to end of our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful, and greeted us with a smile each time we saw her - even going as far as remembering our names despite the facts there were many other guests in the hotel. Breakfast is really good with many choices of breads, meats, cheeses, fruit etc. The dining room is nicely set out too. Views from the rooms are incredible, the temperature of the rooms is perfect and all were spotlessly clean! ☺

There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and although they are available in the eating area downstairs, they aren't available 24 hours a day. It would be nice to be able to make a hot drink late at night. There is also no bottled water available in the rooms and for a 4 star hotel, this would normally be a standard thing - we've never stayed in a hotel that doesn't provide water. Interestingly, 2 glasses are provided, just nothing to go in them. Also, the wi-fi appeared to be switched off or certainly reduced each evening after about 9pm and again, for a 4 star hotel this was unacceptable.

- All of the staff are an absolute pleasure to interact with. They are friendly, helpful, pleasant and look out for your every need. - The mountain view from the balcony was incredible. - A decent selection of sweet and savoury foods available during breakfast (incl but not limited to: good variety of breads, cheeses, fruit, veg and jams). - Free afternoon snack consisting of coffee, cakes, soup and pasta was a nice bonus - Not Hotel Seppl specific, but if you visit Innsbruck, you get a visitor card which gives you free access to some of the local cable cars, e.g. Mutteralmbahn. - Spa is well stocked with towels and contains a decent sized sauna and steam room.

- If your primary purpose is to explore the city of Innsbruck instead of the mountains and you don't have a car then I'd recommend staying closer to the city itself. Mutters is served by buses and trams however connections are not frequent especially after 9pm.

Everything - location, sight, cleanliness, friendly staff, spa and pool, food. Room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Out of town but 10 minutes to city center easy drive. Peacefull, great rest, while having a lot activities nearby.

Only thing that can be improved is to have the bar-restaurant open at all times during the day. Current workhours are only 18:00-21:30 which is ok, but I lacked sometimes access at mid day. Also I could use fridge in the room or mini bar.

Located near Innsbruck. Tram stop close to the hotel. The hotel gives free passes to the public transport if you stay more than 3 days. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool (warm), also saunas.Amazing view surrounding!!

It was a little smell when we were in the hotel because hotel close to the farms. The smell was mostly in the evening . I hope it was temporary due to the farm season ( don’t know how to say it correctly in English))

Location - 10 min with the car to Innsbruck city center, hotel very clean, reception staff smiling and helpful, beautiful mountain views, good breakfast, peaceful area

Not enough parking places, too few kitchen staff during the breakfast time. I waited a long moment before they checked the guest list and let me enter the breakfast area. Staircase not sound proof. I was on the 2nd floor in the room and could here noises from the reception area because of massive echo

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. We were so impressed with the evening meals. The outdoor pool was beautiful. A very chilled and relaxing atmosphere The tram is amazing, really easy to get around and totally free with the Welcome Card issued by the hotel

We were not initially allocated the room we had booked, but that was swiftly sorted by the wonderful reception staff
