Hotel Plattenwirt

The room was large and well equipped the furnishings were modern there was a large terrace as well. The hotel is very close to the Wörthersee lake and I could just walk to a beautiful sunset on the lake. The staff was friendly and let me stay in the lobby after I checked out and I could use the internet. The welcome coffees and drinks were also fine. The shower had a built in sauna function that was nice.

The automated lighting solution in the bathroom was annoying I can switch on and off a light thank you. The breakfast was not included but I guess that is better that way for people who want to pay less and not have breakfast.

Room very large, clean, comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Staff very polite and helpful. The Suite we stayed in was newly renovated, the rest of the hotel is older but still well maintained.

The very close location to the musical events next to Lake Woerthersee which has nothing to do with the hotel. But it was extremely noisy from the sound checks on at 5pm until the end of the concerts around 11pm on 2 consecutive days. Next time we will check the musical events calender and stay away.

The staff at the reception extremely helpful and professional, we felt very welcomed. The bathroom is very spacious and nice. Room all in all just the right size and clean. Location is good as it is just a few steps from the lake and Europapark.

It says on booking that the room we’ve booked is sound isolated. Unfortunately not isolated enough as our room was facing the side where railway and main road go by. It was ok for the cars, but the train is actually too loud. We would still stay at this hotel again, but only if guaranteed that we get the room on the other side away form the railway.

The best is the location as it is near the park, the lake and Minimunds. Everything is a walk away and the time spent there was truly more than a home feeling. Safe, positive and welcoming surroundings. The stay at the hotel was great. The room size is exactly how room with two small kids needs to be so that they can feel free and the staff at the hotel was amazing. Last but not least, the breakfast was one of a kind. Everything tasted great. The variety was huge and diverse but then again local.

The rooms are the size of a small apartment. Comfortable beds, double-sink bathroom, terrace with partial view to the lake. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending dinner locations (since the hotel only offers breakfast). Location great for our purpose- close to the freeway and to Minimumdus.

Breakfast was passable, although I believe could be improved to match the expectations created by the wonderful interior. The road in front might get noisy in busier months, there weren’t too many trucks passing when we were there, but you could clearly hear each one.

The hotel‘s location is perfect - it‘s 5 min walk to the Wörthersee lake, 10 min walk to Minimundus. Our deluxe room with balcony was spacious, fresh and well appointed. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

Breakfast - the choice is very limited, there‘s also a very poor ventilation- cooking smells fill the breakfast room and then stay in your clothes for the rest of the day

Rooms were huge, and very modernly furnished (we stayed in the deluxe rooms in the new wing, rooms in the older wing are more dated, but still very large). Place was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place is walking distance from the lake. Stay was very enjoyable and pleasant.

Not much I can say that I didn't like. Only thing that comes to mind is that the pastries served in the breakfast buffet were not great. Otherwise, place was a joy!

The location is close to the river. Bus transportation is just across the road from hotel to travel to centre. The location to train station by taxi is just 15min away and costs just around 18euros. The breakfast was exceptionally good. I would highly recommend this property. The rooms are super large and very comfortable.

A family business welcoming in a great location. comfortable spacious room with lake view. Nice selection on the buffet breakfast. A short walk from the scenic lake and facilities this offers and a regular bus service to town. Loved it!

The room was great and very spacious, with a nice balcony. It is in a good location in front of the lake. There were other attractions just a few minutes by walk, such as the Europapark and Minimundus. Breakfast was good with a lot of options we could choose

nothing I could point out as negative during my stay.
