Hotel Odeon

The room/hotel was as expected from the description - modest, but clean and safe. The location is good for the area around Prater. Kind staff, available also on the phone when the reception is closed.

Two minor things: 1. the door card received after self check in at the counter did not work. However the situation was rather quickly resolved via the phone call 2. the method used for opening the main door when the reception is closed is quite unusual and a bit unpleasant since the verification machine takes in the entire card. However it is quicky retured and works well. But the feeling for the first time may be a bit worrying. Once you get used to it - it's fine.

Cozy, spacious room with a private shower and a pretty clean shared toilet! Great location just 10 mins away from Wiener Prater. Really friendly receptionist!

Right next to the pillow side of the bed there was a huge gum smashed on the wall. Nobody took care to clean that before providing a room to us. Also apparently there was a 2nd switch for electricity sockets just near the entrance. We were not informed about it so we had to deal with half of the "non working" electricity sockets in the late evening. There was nobody at reception at that time already to instruct us.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we encountered friendly staff. The room we chose had a shared bathroom and toilet option. Although we were initially hesitant, after seeing the cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet, we stayed comfortably. The rooms were spotless and practical. The train station is very close, and it is very easy to get to the city center. We were very pleased with the location as well. Thank you very much; you made our Vienna trip more enjoyable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable in a hip area of Vienna. It is self check-in, so we did not meet any staff members aside from when we returned our key.

We had no problems, but the hotel is next to a strip club. It may not be the most comfortable place to stay if you are a woman traveling alone. The bed had a throw pillow that I can’t imagine gets washed after every stay. It was an attempt at decoration, but I think the hotel should go without it. it did not inspire confidence about cleanliness.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly both before and during the stay. It was my first stay but I would definitely come back here. There is a building site nearby at the moment, but this was clearly stated in the hotel information and was only during the day. The bathroom was spacious and had a bath and shower. The location is good, close to the subway and not far from the city centre.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Odeon: for a cheap price, it offers all you need for a comfortable stay in Vienna. The owners were kind and available. Check in and checkout were fast and smooth. The position is just great particularly if you use the metro a lot to move around. The room had all we need: the bed was comfy and the shower worked great.

I didn't particularly enjoy the design of the room, but that's just a minor thing. Overall it's an inexpensive hotel that offers a great deal given the prices in Vienna.

Everything was great: very clean, warm, confortable, close to the train station where you have connections to the center, also you have a Bila market close to the hotel, in a quiet area. The bathroom is equiped with hair dryer, shower gel, towels. The access is very easy (we made self check-in because of the hour of arrival - 23), communication with the host very clear and we received complete information before arrival.

A fridge would be useful for longer stays, but for the two nights we stayed here was great. And maybe also a kettle would be nice to have.

The room is spacious enough for the amount we are paying. Hotel is very close to Metro line and we can easily reach city in 10 mins. The check in was hassle free as instructions were provided before hand. The reception allowed us to keep our luggage after we checked out and use the toilet. The toilets/ bathroom are common but they were clean through out our stay. The hotel is also within walking distance to few attractions nearby like the Giant Ferris wheel. There is also a lift in the apartment.

The check in rather online. We have to insert our ATM card to get through the main door and there is a touch screen where we do the check in. The touch of the screen is not that fast and takes time to respond.

The Staff on the reception is extreamly friendly and helpfull! The hotel is with great location, just 5 minutes by walking from the bus, metro and railstation. The room was with own bathroom, was clean and with great heating. Great sistem for self check in and also for entering the building wile late hours of the day. Strongly recomending!

Everything was great! There is no breakfast in the hotel and maybe will be good if in the rooms or in one kitchen corner is a posibility for boiling a water for cofee or tea. Never the less - near by there are some kofee shops.

This place is really nice and clean and the location is strategic too. Close to the train station and surrounded by restaurants. I was amazed by the self check in process as it was so easy and don’t need any staff to be there to help out.

There are no staffs at the hotel so even the last day it says we are allow to leave our baggage at the reception but there’s actually no one at the reception meaning our bags will be left unattended at the lobby so this is the only thing that I feel not good about this hotel.
