Novotel Wien City

The hotel is in a very good location, close to basically everything. Was my boyfriend birthday and they offered him a free parking spot for the night.

Even if the room was clean, all the walls and doors were dirty. The room was very small and on night you could hear music until 5am

The hotel was very good. The room was super clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. It was little away from my conference center but very well connected by metro.

Room was really nice and the location is good as well, close to the center. The prices in the hotel restaurant were almost the same as in another restaurants in the city so it was really convenient to have a lunch or late dinner.

There was a club in the building in front of the hotel and the music was too loud till almost 6 am and a lot of young people (apparently drunk) shouting loudly in the street but closing the windows was helping a lot. We asked for the airport transfer at the hotel reception and the price was really high so we took a taxi (Bolt). It was cheaper almost twice.

Really comfortable bed, clean rooms, and good location near public transport, not too noisy

Excellent hotel and these are just suggestions to make it 10/10 Two things 1. The bathroom and shower is lovely but those shower and shampoo bottles stuck to the wall are really difficult to use. Had to press really hard with both hands to get the soap out. It could be just be me with my tiny hands lol. It's a small thing but would make world of a different for guests like me 2. I wish breakfast was a little cheaper. Didn't opt for breakfast in the hotel because the the breakfast spread was very basic but charged 23e per person which is very steep. Also for some reason there was some confusion at checkout where we were billed for breakfast even when we didn't have it. Eventually got sorted so nothing to worry about.

For my kids summer vacation it was a trip worth remembering and Novotel was a good choice we took. For a family of 4 the room was good and spacious and was always kept clean with an option of not to be cleaned in order to support environment safety. We took the room with breakfast included which provided a good variety of breakfast option. I would really like to thank "Andreea" at reception who cleared all our doubts regarding the nearby places and suggesting the best commuting option. Thanks, Shalini

I went in July end so it was bit hot and as per Austria rule they don't promote AC usage in order to support environment. In that case I would suggest if hotel can have fan option.

The place is really welcoming for families with children, the kids received nice gifts on check in. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, also very efficient (we came in late and got a room in which the sofa beds were not made up, so they changed the room and gave us a bigger one in no time). I was afraid of the garage but it is actually very near, once you unload in front of the Hotel you have a minute drive to the garage and a 3 minutes walk back. The buffet breakfast is also excellent, everything is there and it is served until 10:30. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, even the sofa bed for children.

The room size was at its limits for the four of us and we had to manage the space, but this was expected (there were bigger rooms but we chose this one for the price). The air conditioning was quite noisy in this particular room but fortunately we did not need it so that was no problem for us, but could be a problem for somebody coming to Vienna during summer.

Guy on the front desk was very kind. Room was OK, one big bed and one pull out bed. Clean. Towells were changed daily even if we didn't leave them on the floor. Complementary water in the fridge in the room. Breakfast was good, there were many options for one to choose from. Location is great, 15mins form Stephen's cathedral, by foot. Metro station is near.

It is not that I didn't like it, it is just that it was a bit strange, the toilet in the room is separate from the sink and the bathtub, so one have to run between toilet and sink for hand washing. No problem, but... why bathtub? It is rather deep, without any handles to keep you safe when exiting slippery bathtub. Not for elderly... One more thing that was first for me (it might be completely normal for others), dining room is not big enough, so guests have to wait to be seated in the morning for breakfast. And line can get a bit long. Girl with short hair, a bit rude...

The room I stayed in (executive room) was spacious and comfy. The desk was also big enough for work. The breakfast offers a wide veriety of food and was delicious. The staff were also friendly and professional.

The only thing I didn't like about my stay was "no change on breakfast items". The food was certainly declious but you get tired of eating the same thing when you stay there longer than a couple of days. It would be appreciated if they consider changing even just one main dish on a daily basis.

Great location, nearest metro station Nestroyplatz U1 is only 100m far from the hotel. You can reach the center of the city in less than 10 minutes. Hotel is clean, room spacious, comfy beds, big tv screen. You can enjoy the Gym. Staff is kind and helpfull.

Often crowdy during breakfast time due to a limited space. Couldn' enter the room after early morning flight. The staff told us there was no free room. Check-in only after 15h even we informed the hotel about our time arrival two months earlier during reservation.

The front desk receptionists were very useful. They were quite knowledgeable and friendly to provide information on places to visit. They were also very helpful and supportive for any needs within the hotel. Regarding places to visit, usually the hotel staff would provide us with list of options. A lady (sorry, can't remember her name) in the front desk went on to describe the options and also provided some useful pointers which helped us a lot. The services in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The chef was able to do something for us on a special request during breakfast. The staff members at the restaurant and behind the bar were friendly and helpful.
