Ibis Wien Messe

The room was very good - comfortable bed, extra blanket, clean. I was satisfied with the breakfast, a good selection of options - cheese, meat, vegetables, fruits, the possibility to make waffles. Good location - there are several metro stations nearby that allow you to get to the main points of interest. There are two good grocery stores nearby if you want to buy food or drinks.

The staff was not welcoming when checking in. It's nice to see a smile and a willingness to help, especially if you're traveling alone for the first time and you're not sure about some things. But the rest of the days staff were very helpful and nice.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The hotel is a great place to rest, and it is very family-friendly. The staff was helpful (at least most), and the breakfast was excellent. The location is not too far from two metro lines (U1/2), which is not in the city center itself but is good enough.

The rooms have no facility to eat or drink even water. The whole hotel's drinking water is a water dispenser at the reception, and one cannot fill the bottles. The water in the toilet is the only option; forget about snacks or anything else.

The location was great as well as everything about the room, bathroom,… People at the reception were nice, our beds were comfy and i would definitelly recommend this hotel when travelling on a budget.

At around 10am in the morning we heard knocking but didn’t think it was in our room and after not answering it, some staff opened our locked door and went inside of our room. We were pretty scared and we have no idea why they did that becouse our check out was at 12pm:). They swiftly went away but they interupted our sleeping.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety. The room did not have much of a view but that was not really necessary as I hardly spent any time in the room. The location was excellent. I will definitely go back to IBIS whenever I visit Vienna again.

Some items for our comfort were not available at IBIS. Guests should be informed of such items that were available or could be purchased from IBIS and ones that could not so we would be prepared. For instance: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap (only shampoo was available) small Bucket, Mug, Tea/Coffee. If we know that certain items are not available or can be bought then we would have made our own arrangements and brought whatever we needed. As senior citizens (I am 74 years old) we are used to some of these items and it is difficult to buy them from nearby shops.

Great place to stay! Close to the trains and easily accessible. Very clean too.

One staff member wasn’t super welcoming. My partner and I are kiwis and are very easy to get along with but she really didn’t want to help us and acted like she didn’t want to be there, we needed help with the hop on hop off busses and she was really rude. All other staff were lovely! In saying this I would stay here again. Only 5-10 mins walk from Prater theme park too!

Hotel Really close to the praterstern metro station. The staff was nice and helpful. Zone was not too noisy and still close to the prater amusement park.

Hard to find local restaurants around and the prices of food and drinks can be quite high. The train transports from the airport can be a bit confusing expecially since they have 2 different trains going to different sides on the same side of the line. I also work on the hotel industry and felt that the client info being a paper that the client has to fill themselves could be automatized with a scanner.

The rooms were clean, bathroom has everything you need. The beds are soft and comfortable. Breakfast selection is good and you can choose from a variety of foods. There are juices and coffee isn't bad. The hotel is also pet friendly.

The parking is hard to find and navigate. Getting out is a nightmare. It is also expensive 22,50 eur per day. The view from the windows isn't interesting. You need to use the metro to the city center as the walk is long.

The hotel is in a very good location whether you want to go to an event in the Ernst Happel Stadion or sightseeing in the city. The station of the U1 and U2 metro lines is not far, only a few minutes on foot, and you can get to the hotel from the airport by direct train (S7) in half an hour. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast time is really long, and you can find the usual selection: ham, several kinds of cheese, cereals, yoghurt, eggs, tomato, cucumber, paprika, fruit salad, jam, hot and cold drinks and so on.

It is a bit difficult to get liquid soap from the dispenser.

The location is great.Subway station (U1-Red Line) is 2min walk from the hotel. One of the main stations-Praternstern is also very close from the hotel-5-7min walk.Once you arrive at the airport, you can take OBB or S7 and get off at Praternstern and walk to the hotel. There is a big park called Prater which is again one of the entertaining places in Vienna. Worth visiting.

Everything was great!

Comfortable stay in a nice location, well connected by UG metro and train station nearby. Easy to navigate from and to the city center. The hotel staff were very helpful in accommodating our requests. The room is big enough for two people.
