ibis Styles Wien Messe Prater

The location is very good. It takes 20 minutes walk from St. Stephan Square. There is a metro station about 10 minutes walk and you can also take tram no.1 on the other side of the river. The room is designed very stylish and minimally. Housekeeping was available everyday and change the towels periodically. Toiletries are available including the slippers. There is a coffee machine in the room. We didn’t try the breakfast, but you can buy some pastries from the market across the street.

There is no cupboard in the room, only two hangers on the wall. Therefore, it was not easy to hang the clothes. Walking and taking tram to reach the center take almost same time and distance.

It is situated in a great area, couple of minutes far from the Praterstern train station, Interspar Supermarket and the Danube River. The property offers a luggage room to keep bags untill check in, welcome drinks and a great fresh breakfast with many options. The room was clean and air conditioner worked well. Had plenty of sockets and great wifi. The reception staff spoke good English. Room looks exactly like pictures.

We didn’t appreciate that the body soap offered in bith the shower and by the sink had barely 1cm of soap when we first arrived. The room is not spacious at all we had to stow our luggages beneath the bed when not in use and jump over them when they were. The rest of the staff were not so great at speaking Wnglish, when I asked the breakfast manager for gluten free breakfast options (which the receptionist confirmed that they had earlier and I just needed to ask) she told me that they do not have anything gluten free, ‘just lactose free milk’ which is a world apart🤣. Our stay costed 520 for 3 nights and a double bed. So its on the higher range but I understand Vienna is expensive and so is good quality.

I loved everything. Good location, near the train station and easy to get to the airport just half an hour by train. Near the hotel is Praterstrasse, a lot of good shops and you can walk to downtown. Or take the train and just a couple of stations until you arrive there. Just about 100m from hotel is grocery store Billa. A lot of cheap pizza kiosks, arabian and turkish restaurants and also Mcdonalds. The Hotel is very clean. Staff is kind and friendly also helpful. Breakfast is very good. From the seventh floor is a beautiful view. Perfect for solo travellers and students. 24 hours opened lobby bar and reception. And just about 400-500 meters is big park Prater. So much fun specially by evenings, light, music and rollercoasters. The same park also has Madame Tussauds museum. I would love to be comeback to this beautiful city and also stay at the same hotel.

No safe in the room! Extreemly difficult entrance to the garage (signes of many demaged cars, partially demolished sealing and side wall to enable cars to enter). There should be warning in the description that garage available under the building has tiny, curved entrance, practically inaccessible for bigger cars or less determined drivers. They worn you before attepmt and offer parking option somewhere else so UR not left without an option, but it is not revealed in the description. Otherwise, all OK.

Ibis Style Wien Messe Prater is located not far from the city center (10 min walk from Schwedenplatz). The building is clean and tidy, the staff is kind and available to solve any potential issues. The size of the room was in the average of rooms of other hotel in Wien in the same category. The bathroom, with the shower in the bedroom, may seem strange. However, several other hotels used the same approach to optimize the spaces, and the room perfectly corresponded to the photos showed on Booking. Comfortable bed. Value for money extremely convenient.

The hotel was close enough to the CAT train station, tram and metro. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was small, but warm (we could adjust the temperature as needed), was clean and had the basic necessities.

The pillows and the towels certainly need an upgrade - the latter were very thin and coarse. We only stayed for one night, but the need for some proper storage was certainly noticed. The lack of a door to the shower and sink area will certainly be awkward for people who don't travel as a couple. We didn't like the strong smell of "wet bathroom" coming from it into the room, though. There's also an issue with the ventilation of the bathroom we think, as the towels we used the previous night were still quite wet in the morning.

Nice clean room. Very spacious. Big shower, separate toilette. Comfy hard bed. Blackout curtains. Located near prater. A little walk to center. Reception was 24 hours and check out until 12 , great if you want to spend the night out. The parking was free on the street during weekend, no problem to find a place.

The noise from the hall woke me up, despite that the room was advertise to be soundproof. When we came the room was freezing cold, the aircondition was set to 18° :D And there was no minibar, despite that it was advertise to be there.

They also have at least 10, maybe 12 different options for cereal, so the customization options are endless.

• The shower only has shampoo. There is one bottle mounted to the wall that is labeled as "Conditioning Shampoo." It is unclear if it can also be used as bodywash. • It would've been nice if the room also had a mini-fridge.

When I came to my room, the air-conditioner was running on its full capacity on 18 degrees only, inside damn freezing cold! I had to open the windows and turn on the hot shower to warm at least a bit the space inside the room prior getting into a bed cold like a tomb. No slippers in room, no coffee machine or kettle, despite it all was on the pictures of the room while I was booking it. but instead, on the towels found somebody's black hair.........

The breakfast is delicious! It was worth the money. The hotel staffs even gave us exception to check in early due to some circumstances. The room is smaller than expected but if you are always out and will just sleep, then it is really practical! The room is also modern, perfect for youngsters. The bathroom doesn't have a rain shower but is high and spacious enough to fit my 6'5 husband. The aircon is to die for! Perfect for the hot weather! We were both satisfied.

That the carpeted floors on the hallway were not always clean. For a person with allergy, it was a little bit unsafe. And the reception is where the bar is, I don't know if the staff are fine with that, being the receptionist and the bartender at the same time.
