Hotel Avama Prony

Location was excellent, close to great places to eat, and a fab bakery and supermarket and metro.

Hotel takes a damage deposit, which should only ever be taken if the room is exceptional. Curtains were hanging off, the small side table was broken and the wooden floor by the bathroom was lifted and rotting, so based on the 3 issues, I had to take photos on arrival to protect myself and my family, and our money. The hotel also took the full balance before I even arrived? Which was odd, as then they refunded it and took the full amount again when I arrived. I did confirm I would be arriving, so again, not sure why they did this.

Hotel is very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helped us out with all our needs. We arrived before check-in time and left after check-out, but we could leave our luggage at the hotel which is super convenient. The hotel is right around the corner of a metro stop - you can't get better than that! We happened to be in Paris during a very hot week so we were very happy to establish that our room was one of the best air-conditioned places in all of Paris! Our Superior Double Room was larger than many other hotel rooms we read about: there's a 3-door closet with a safe, a stand for a suitcase, a desk and chair and the bathroom is also large enough with a regular sink and full bath. Our room was to the back court so we didn't see or hear any traffic, but the windows are soundproof so it's quite quiet. And if you need a kosher diet, there are tons of kosher places at walking distance, one of which is right below the hotel itself + a kosher mini-market at the end of the block. We'll definitely check this hotel again next time we're in Paris.

The only thing that isn't very soundproof are the doors so you hear clearly when your next-door neighbors enter or leave their room. But that's it. We couldn't hear them while inside their rooms so it's something that you'll hear maybe once a day for a second or two. Other than that this hotel was amazing!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is located 15 minutes on foot: from Porte Maillot (or one metro stop) and 25 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. There are bus stops and metro stations in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Around the hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants where you can eat and drink coffee, beer, and cocktails. There is a grocery store nearby that is open until 10 p.m. The staff was very kind. They gave us advice on what to visit, how to get there, not only about the sights of the city but also about the spirit of the individual neighborhoods. The beds were large and very comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day.

I rarely write reviews but the stay at this hotel was so excellent that I feel compelled to. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly, especially Ibrahim who met us on the first night. I had arranged to have flowers in the room as a surprise for my partner, and Ibrahim was a real help with this. The hotel was clean, and the cleaning staff very efficient and to a very high quality. The location is excellent, right by lots of bars and restaurants and also, the metro. I really can't recommend this hotel enough. I had an excellent stay and am very grateful to the staff.

Great location, close to public transportation, lots of restaurants around. There's a small elevator to bring your luggage up. Bed was large (maybe a king?) and room had air conditioning.

The bathroom was a little snug (kinda needed to sit on the toilet sideways), the wifi connection was a little unreliable. There was no fridge in the room or ice at the hotel so storing drinks was tricky.

Metro station was right next to the hotel (Line 3), the room was big enough for 3 people and seemed bigger than other options available, and was cleaned daily. The breakfast was OK for the price (13 euros), not too many options but sufficient enough (except for the coffee which was not very good) . The Staff is friendly and accomodating. There is a supermarket very close to the hotel.

Nothing of big importance, overall it was a very comfortable stay. Shower head was a bit tilted and the coffee for breakfast was not very good, but these are not important enough to take away from the rest of the facilities/stay/comfort/location.

Truly my favorite thing was the beds. After staying in a dozen different places on this trip, these beds were my favorite! So comfortable! Also, even though it's a little further from the center of the city, it's right by a Metro station which is awesome. It's also near a bunch of options for food.

There was only one outlet in my room and it was in an extremely strange place--not near the desk or the bed, but close to the floor right by the door, so unless you have an extremely long cord you have to leave your device(s) charging on the floor, and make sure not to hit them if you open the door. It was a small thing though!

The room was a good size for 3 of us, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small, but that is to be expected in Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good with several restaurants very close by and a metro station right outside the hotel. It's within walking distance of L'Arc de Triomphe. The air conditioning and Wifi were good and we had no problem with noise.

The room was very cosy and beautiful. True to the size shown in the photos. Great for a couples. The bed is very comfortable and AC was working very well. The staff were very welcoming and understanding. The location and view from the window are amazing.

The ceiling of the bathroom in relation to the bathtub was lower than standard. It wasn't much problem for becuase im short but my friend had a bit difficulties adjusting the shower head due to the low ceiling. The curtains had small holes in them that let the light go through and gave a cheap look to the beautiful room
