Hôtel Korner Etoile

Female staff member at the desk when we checked in was really kind, got us checked in quickly and was really helpful. I booked the stay for me, my mum and 8 year old brother - the room had a big bed and a little one. On the little bed, they had put a small balloon and a bunch of sweets which made my brother so happy! Really kind gesture on the hotels part especially as travelling with kids is hard. The beds were decently sized and the room had aircon. We didn't use the TV. Tap water was drinkable. Bathroom was a decent size, sink was hard to avoid dropping water everywhere but overall it was a nice bathroom. They provided towels and soap. There's a metro station right outside the hotel. It was easy to walk to Arc de Triomphe. Decent walk to Eiffel Tower and the viewing point. Plenty of eating options around the hotel. We didn't try the breakfast but we were told we could have breakfast as long as we asked for it the day/night before we wanted it.

The hotel is literally one minute from the nearest Metro stop, so getting from Gare du Nord to the hotel via subway (at the Porte Champerret stop on the 3 line) was seamless. It's a quieter area, so for folks who love being in the absolute center of action this may not be for you. But getting to all the main city attractions is easy, 20-30 minutes on the Metro depending on the time of day, and I found I really liked being somewhat out of the way of all of that. My room was spotlessly clean; the hotel associates were helpful and genial (e.g. lent me a corkscrew when I realized I'd forgotten to bring my travel corkscrew); and when I was late leaving my room one day but still needed it serviced, I was able to connect with someone immediately through the Booking.com chat function and have that confirmed and completed. There are also several restaurants with late dining options around, and a couple of supermarkets within 5 minutes' walking distance. I enjoyed my stay here very much and would definitely stay here again!

I think there may have been some construction going on in an adjacent building; not in the hotel's control, but it was a tad noisy in the mornings.

At check in I met Alex who were very patient and helpful, he suggested all the great restaurants. The following morning the heat wasn't working and Jade quickly went into action by wheeling in a space heater, she also made sure to get me another room and move my belongings while I was out. She explained to me how to get around the areas, where to avoid and best shopping. The free homemade breakfast is a nice touch. It was very clean but didn't smell of strong cleaning products and that's a plus for me.

The bathrooms are so small, the TV is not capable of switching languages so I watched Law and Order in French. The reception area could do with an update, also the "dining" furniture as well.

Good price quality option just 20-30min walk from champs elysees or arc de triomph. You can also make yourself comfortable in the reception area bringing your own food for microwave or even using the fridge to store some stuff, that is really convenient Considering it is a hotel and these places dont usually allow bringing food in. Last night one member of staff call to my room phone at 1am for reminding me I needed to make a tax payment prior check out. After speaking to the personnel the following morning they fully apologized for having disturbed sleep hours and compensated me with a free night voucher for this inconvenience. So despite this "problem", I can say they managed it accordingly and everything turned as expected, would definetely recommend this place.

The Hotel is located in a quiet yet central neighborhood of Paris. It is a cosy place only a 10min walk away from Champs Elysees. The family room has a little courtyard and is comparatively comfortable regarding the price.

Everything was so far OK. The room was big enough and the quietness of the room was surprising. The hotel offers a common refrigerator in the lobby, but a private fridge in the room would be much better. For a 1-2 nights stay the place is a good choice.

Although the hotel is small, it is very well kept. It’s clean, it has a nice decoration and the staff is super friendly and willing to help with the needs of the travelers. It is located a 15~20 minutes walking distance from Arc de Triomphe, and about a block from a metro station, which makes it convenient.

Our room was a little dark and on the smaller side and the humidity from the shower never went away completely, but the room still had everything we needed and allowed us to have a perfectly comfortable stay.

We loved this hotel, clean, cosy, great room (for 3) with comfortable beds, air conditioning and great bathroom. Cleaning daily, free coffee and tea anytime a day, free wifi, super friendly staff. Very central and close to main attractions, metro station literally by the door. Charming quiet neighborhood with restaurants nearby. We would repeat.

Amazing stay! The best of the hotel even though the location is perfect and super well connected, it’s the staff. The staff were super friendly, caring and nice. I will totally come back. We met 3-4 different people in the reception and all of them were super nice. I’m very happy about our stay in hotel and I want to give a special shout-out to our receptionist with glasses ( didn’t catch his name) when we arrived at night. He was the best, merci!

The staff was really nice and helpful. We ended up having breakfast at the hotel every day because it was super convenient and good for the price. Most cafés charge the same for a drink + something else, so given that it was an all you can eat breakfast, it was totally worth it! Very good pastries, drinks and jams! Great location if you don't mind taking the metro. The station is right in front of the hotel. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Free storage for luggage if needed!

It would have been nice to have plant-based milk options for breakfast, like soy or almond. Also more fruit. Our room was a lot smaller than we expected... Specially the bathroom! It was okay regardless as we were almost never there, but I think it would be best to show the accurate pictures on Booking to manage expectations.

Super helpful staff. Nothing was a problem including leaving my bike bag there for two weeks while I travelled. Excellent neighborhood... very authentic (think parents taking their kids to school Monday morning). Excellent restaurants nearby and easy access to Metro. Room was clean and comfy, super quiet. I'd say small, but for Paris it was bigger than I expected. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and well stocked. Would stay again.
