Elysees Niel Hotel

I loved my very spacious room with a bonus little courtyard! The bathroom was also big and everything is clean. I love the location of the hotel too where it's very close to restaurants, cafes, local bakery, markets that sell fresh produce, and the overall security of walking around the hotel. I also appreciate how close (walking distance) it is to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. This is indeed a very good value for money!

It's minor, but would've been good to have available drinking water in the room or at the lobby.

The staff was so friendly we loved it! They speak english very good. Quiet area , not far away from the turistic attraction. We loved this hotel and for sure we will come back. The room was clean and warm . The bed very comfortable . They gave us soap,shower gel,towels and hairdryer. A kettle with some tea bags,some cups. It's nice because in winter you come from outside and you can drink something warm when relax in bed watching something on tv. Yes , they have channels in italian,english,french. Very nice! After long walks in Paris on foot we could relax and sleep very good. The bed sheets clean . Many thanks for making our vacation so wonderful!

Rooms were very clean and comfortable and exceeded my expectations (set by a previous visit to the city). Location was very convenient - lots of restaurants, shops and transportation nearby. bathrooms were clean, large and water pressure was good.

We were promised connecting rooms, but were not only not given connecting rooms, but the rooms were on different floors, which made it inconvenient. The staff present at check-in could not communicate in english and just asked us to check again the following day.

Location was impressive and so many cute cafes to visit close by. Easy to catch a train to various tourist locations. Felt safe and welcomed. Was upgraded to a room with a balcony and was lucky enough to score an early check in which suited our flight schedule. Thank you so much, merci beaucoup. We miss Paris already!

Only thing I can say is I think supplying new towels would be good as the current ones seem a bit worn down.

The entire room was very clean and cute! About 10 min walk from The Etoile and 5 min walk to the nearest metro station. I did not order breakfast at hotel but enjoyed the local bakery!

They don't have refrigerator so you have to wait your chocolate/cheese shopping until your last day. But don't worry, Fromagerie from beillevaire is located nearby, The famous bakery/pastry Ciryl Lignac and Bourangerie Liberte is just nearby, also if you are choc freak, Patrick Roger can be found within 10min walk! So nevermind about the fridge.

Location is fantastic. Had a balcony room which was nice but as I was out and about each day (as you should be in Paris). Breakfast was right sized, and right priced. Perfect for a holiday I think. Still very good for business travel

Still getting calibrated to new pricing models, but over the course of my stay the price differential from Sunday through weekdays was 100e, I know it happens but surprised me a little.

wi-fi was not good at all, but not really an issue for us. just a fact. breakfast not great but adequate-free for kids which was a nice bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the neighborhood, especially all the wonderful restaurants right on the same street as the hotel. Only 15 min walk to Arc de Triomphe / Champs Elysees.

shower water leaks right onto bathroom floor, but that's par for the course in France. Had to ask concierge to enable AC. It was disabled i suspect for the hotel to save $$. Once i asked, he said it was fine. I don't like to have to ask for amenities that are supposed to be included with the room. Also asked if cabs have fixed rates for rides to airport and was told by concierge (which changed twice in a 24hr period) that "it depends". this is not the correct answer. Always tell cab driver when you get in car that you want the fixed rate and you will get it. 53 Euros to CDG. plus whatever applicable supplements.

I love this hotel. I used to stay here ALL the time some years ago. By ALL THE TIME, I mean several times a month. My activities in Paris have changed location, so I haven't stayed here for a couple years. It hasn't changed, and the man at the front desk remembered me ! The rooms are super clean, there is carpeting, ( some people don't like carpeting. The rooms are european size but comfortable. The location is great. There are several cafes nearby, a street food market, shopping. It's about a 10 minute walk from L'Arch de Triomphe and Champs Elysees .. for those who want to do a bit of sightseeing. It's also possible to walk to the Eiffel Tower. Metro Line 1 is at the L'Arch de Triomphe which connects with the Line 2, which takes you to Ternes. It's also possible to walk from L'Arch de Triomphe to Ternes. It's a pleasant walk.

The location - perfect - 5 min to metro, about 10-15 min by foot to Champs Elysses, 35min to the Eiffel Tower, in the surrounding there were some shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very good - even more then I expected knowing french standards of the breakfast. I only wish, there would be some vegetables.

Unfortunatelly wifi didn't work in our room - maybe because it was on the 5th floor. Downstairs it was OK! I wished there could be some vegetables during the breakfast. Unfortunatelly we had problems with payment. The hotel doesn't accept some money banknote - we had to search for the solution - I lost some time and went to the Central Bank of France. The hotel left us alone with the problem. They didn't inform us about it earlier!

Loved the neighborhood. Polite and helpful staff. We reserved three rooms and requested three days before our check-in to have them all on one floor next to each other and they processed that with no hesitation. The hotel changed all our towels as soon as we spotted a small stink on one towel in our room.

There is no fridge in the room. The shower had no space to put your shampoo next to it, and we had to open the shower door every time, so water ran everywhere.
