Hôtel Clauzel Paris

Great location with view of the Sacre Coeur on a lovely street with shops, cafes and near a supermarket. Also within walking distance to train stations. Staff were friendly. Rooms were quite clean. Breakfast was very affordable and our daughter ate for free. It wasn't a fancy buffet, but fine for us.

Room had hair from previous visitors on the floor. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Room was tiny, but it didn't bother us. Coffee and tea facilities in the room would be nice

All staff members were nice and polite and they genuinely tried to solve the cot issue. The room was nice and the shower was great. The location is really good, close to metro stations, restaurants and local shops. This is a two-star hotel, and with that in mind, it is excellent. From what I read in the reviews posted by other people, the impression I had was that they were evaluating poorly, complaining about things as if it were a 4-5-star hotel. When we return to Paris, this hotel will definitely be at the top of our list of options.

The baby cot was confirmed after we booked the room, but there were no cots available when we got there. They managed to provide the cot for the second night there, but for the first one we had to improvise a baby mattress with a duvet. They gave us a larger room to make up for it, which was nice.

Staff was very friendly. Great location as well.

No air conditioning so room was very hot in the summer

The hotel itself is on a lovely road with many lovely patisseries and bakeries, bars and restaurants. we could have only eaten on this road for the whole of our trip. we also had a really lovely view of Sacre-Couer from our room. the location is great and very easily accessible to many metros and bus routes to get to all the main tourist sights.

The facilities are a bit lacking. there was no water, kettle or anything for drinking in our room. the lift is very very small and we had to go up to our room in single file with our suitcases. but this didn’t effect our stay but just something that would have added to it. the doors were also a bit noisy.

property was great for a short stay in Paris, location was awesome with heaps of food and shops all around. even a pharmacy and grocery shop across the road. the staff were super friendly and helpful and cleaned our room even after a day, made us feel very welcome. the property is close to everything, we easily walked all around the city and saw all the sights! room was large enough for the both of us and bags, the bathroom was beautiful and the room was clean.

the room did get a little to warm for us in the night - but it is winter so better than being cold. the door was a bit hard to close and open but no big deal!

The hotel is in a great location, close to many different shops and metro stations. The room was clean, warm and cozy. The staff was always smiling and kind.

There was a very small elevator and it was difficult to get two people up together, and impossible if they also had suitcases. The street was noisy from early in the morning, and there was a lot of noise from the guests or the hotel staff, which woke us up.

The hotel is in the perfect location. The street itself is lovely and lively and very French and you are within easy walking distance of Montmartre and also of Gare du Nord (about 20 minutes walk). The metro is 5 minutes walk away, but if you fell energetic you could in fact walk to the Louvre etc. depends how much you like walking. Lots of nice places to eat within a few steps of the hotel. We were given a triple room and we were 2 so we had plenty of space. Breakfast is basic but cheap so it was as expected.

A few little things like how to get the top shower to work, but main thing was that it was nice and hot so didn’t matter. TV remote didn’t work (batteries?) - we didn’t come to watch TV so not important. Would have been nice to have a desk in the room, but not very important. A bit pricy for what it is, but you pay for the location.

Superb location near Mont Matre. We hired Lime bikes and cycled to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and along the Seine. Hotel was small and staff were lovely. We (three of us) stayed in room 20 which was the only room with a balcony. Although the room was on a busy little street, the windows were sound proof so we weren’t disturbed at night. The hotel is near shops, bakeries and lovely cafes. They allowed us a late checkout on our departure day.

Nothing really

Amazingly convenient. It’s near to everything you need; restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, fresh meat, veg and fruits stands, church, and of course Amorino!!!😍 Location is family friendly and also near metro.

We came in sumner so it’s humid and hot and there is no A/C. We have to open the window the whole night which the sound of the street wakes you up every now and then. Also, there was no table and not enough chair in the room.

What a great location! Really good bakery (Le Pain Retrouve) down the road as well as dim sum. 15 minute walk to sacre Coeur, and only a few minute walk to metro. Also staff at the hotel were very friendly, speak English. It was clean and great for my stay.

Only negative thing is the walls are very thin (like paper) so many times woke up to guests walking up the stairs or talking.
