Saint Georges Lafayette

The staff liaised with me prior to my trip, during my trip and after the trip which is exceptional customer care. The hotel was able to look after our belongings when we arrived as we were early to check in, this meant we could go and explore Paris straight away which was amazing. Not only did the staff speak English, they helped me to learn some new French words and appreciated my attempts to speak French. They were kind to take time and help us with our exploration of the city by telling us the best places to go and showing us on the maps. The staff were friendly, encouraging and able to help book a taxi when we had to leave to go to the Eurostar for our return home. My 14 year old son commented on the kindness and approachability of the staff who were there 24/7. The local metro station (Pigalle) was a short walk away and there were some lovely restaurants nearby too. We will definitely be returning for a second visit.

My only discomfort was that I could hear the people in the next room to us which must have meant that they could hear us too. As a larger woman, I found the bathroom slightly on the small side but that isn't the hotel's fault.

It was clean, the bathroom was completly new, location is close to metro, close to shops, restaurants and most importantly - very close to Montmantre. The staff was very nice, especially the younger staff member with dark hair and glasses (whose name i unfortanetly not know), who was working night shift on the night of 28.6.-29.6. who helped us in the middle of the night when our flight was cancelled and called us a taxi and also helped us make a plan on how to get home.

No AC - it was OK for our time of stay, but it would probably be to hot to stay in there durring july/august nights

Everyone was very friendly and the room was perfect: not fancy or beautiful but the beds are comfortable, everything was super clean, great shower, heating works perfect, nice view on the street, not too much noise from the street, and some space to put and hang clothes. We didnt use breakfast, there are so many great little café's, coffee places, bakeries in the area.

The walls are a bit thin and we had a bit of bad luck with our neighbours. First a group of young women who liked partying, but at least during the night they were out partying : ) but on our laat night there was a couple with a baby who cried and screamed until 4.00 and we had to get up at 6.00 for our trip back home But I guess this has more to do with bad luck then only thin walls🙃

Although room was small, there were side tables and outlets for our phones. Bathroom/shower a nice size.

I did not read the description regarding having fans and no air conditioning. Fortunately for us, we had a triple bed room and were able to open windows at each end for a cross breeze. The fan provided was not very good, but we were able to sleep comfortably. If it had been during hotter months it would have been terrible.

This hotel is clean,modern decor,fresh and the reception people are friendly and helpful. The security is good and it's in a quiet street. It's also a great location for visiting Montmartre,just a few minutes away on a very frequent bus route. One thing I liked a lot was that they have tea/coffee ie a kettle in the room which some Paris hotels don't.

I liked everything about this place really. Nothing to fault.

Excellent location - lots of restaurants and cafes nearby! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with a car and this had one of the cheapest parking spots being offered - which is why we booked this hotel in the first place.

TERRIBLE INTERNET CONNECTION - I am a video editor and I needed to hand in projects to my client but the wifi was just too slow. I tried working in the lobby but it was the same. I couldn't go to a cafe because of the "no indoor dining" policy. I had to purchase data through my phone to get my work sent out and that cost me a lot. I am hoping that this can be fixed because it's very bad for people who need to work. Other than that, everything is perfect!

Cool place to stay for a short time. It is not far from Moulene Rouge and Monmartr's Basilic "Sacre Cur". A place has a lot of restaurants, many young people at night time there. Also, we didn't use any transport at all (apart from airport) - because we went on foot to all the places in Paris. Personel is very kind. Overall, we really liked the place and our stay.

The only disadvantage that rooms has bad sound protection: therefore, we could hear noices and speech from other rooms. However, it wasn't a big problem: at night was quiet enough, at daytime: we were visiting various places.

Actually, everything was really well. I did not expect something from a two-star hotel, but the room has exceeded our expectations. The room is not big but good for an overnight stay. I think the most crucial thing in such places is the cleanness, and here it was perfect - no stains on floors or walls, a good mattress, tidy bathroom. Definitely recommend this hotel in terms of cost-quality.

Sometimes the neighbors were sounded relatively good - I guess, it is because of the bathroom ventilation. It is not very annoying. However, we did not have any loud sounds from the street.

It is situated about 5 minutes walking distance away from the Pigalle Metro Station on Line 2/12. Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmarte is just 15 minutes walk away from this hotel. The check-in process took about 10 minutes. We got a room on the 1st floor & it could be accessed by the elevator. The room was clean. The room had adequate heating and we were able to adjust the level of heating. The bathroom had hot water, amenities (soap, shampoo) and towels.

The room barely had sufficient space to manage for a couple. We were asked to leave the room keys at the reception when going out, which was quite awkward when considering previous travel experiences.

Perfect location, walking distance from most of the sights. Super clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Everything needed for a hotel stay was available. Room and bathroom were cleaned every day, towels changed every day. I had three little requests when making the reservation and all of them were satisfied upon arrival. I definitely recommend the hotel!
