Hôtel de l'Exposition - Tour Eiffel

All was as expected. i.e. A room to sleep in with a breakfast to set off the day. The room is quite small but more than adequate for sleeping in. Plenty USB charging points available. Basics covered as expected.

1st night was extremely hot. There is apparently air conditioning but even set at 16 degrees it was like an oven all night. switched the A/C of for the next 2 nights and it was bearable. A/C problem?? Shower way too small Impossible to shower without bumping the water control off or suddenly too hot or cold. Different type off tap, (rotary instead of lever) would be better.

The location was fantastic plus the beds were very comfortable.

The room was quite small and the bathroom wasn’t a seperate room but rather a part divided by a plastic wall. The issue with that was that the plastic wall was SEE THROUGH so the other person had to keep their back to the wall the entire time you had a shower. there was a curtain inside you could close when you were using the toilet but for some reason it didn’t reach the shower. First time I saw sth like this

The location was awesome, close to the Eiffel tour, which is what we wanted to see during this overnight layover trip.

It is not the hotel's fault, but having made plans to stay here to see the Eiffel tour at night, and having checked in close to 11 pm, we weren't able to accomplish what we set out for, as we didn't know the lights are dimmed/turned off at 1 am, and by the time after getting a late dinner at nearby Rhinoceros Bar we got there by 1:20, the Eiffel Tour didn't look as dazzling. So this note is for future travelers with the same purpose: The lights are dimmed at 1 am, not 2 am, as an article on enjoying Paris at night had led me to believe.

We loved how cute it was and easy location. The breakfast they provided was delicious. It was clean and staff was good to work with. The biggest issue of course is how small the bathrooms are, but that has nothing to do with the place. Welcome to Paris.

We didn't feel there was anything negative about the place. The location is was good, the people were nice and over all we felt it was a good value. We even attempted to stay another couple of nights but they were fully booked.

The hotel was with 10-15 walking distance to trains and subways. 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower and touristy areas.

While the hotel lists A/C as being available, it did not cool the room at all. It listed the room at 24c (75F), but it felt hotter than that. I didn't realize when I booked, but the rooms do not have coffee makers, water glasses, or irons, like most hotels I've stayed in.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location wise, from around the corner, you can see a bit of the Eiffel Tower, there are two underground stations close by. A walk to the Eiffel Tower takes 15 mins and there are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and markets around.

There was no fridge in the room. The outside of the building is being renovated, we had a balcony room, but the outside was covered, so we couldn't enjoy the view, we should have been told about the renovations in advance.

The room was not exactly cheap at about 200 Euros per night, but given the cost of hotels in Paris, it was a great value. The room was small (this is Paris), but in excellent shape and very comfortable. The shower was. particularly nice, haven't had water pressure like that in a while.

My only quibble was that the room was so small that it didn't have much space to put away clothing. I'm on a fairly long trip so have a lot of clothing with me, and digging through my suitcase was annoying. But that's the only thing I'd change.

the location is great, next to the Eiffel Tower. It also has many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making our stay very convenient. There is always someone in the front door, and staff was very helpful.

The room is very small. The bathroom has a transparent wall which can be very inconvenient when taking a shower because other people in the room can see you

I like the property’s location as it is close to the scenic spots especially the Eiffel tower.

Well, we were not aware that we need to pay for “city tax” before we can check-out as I have not read it before booking the hotel and none of my friends who booked a different hotel in Paris were asked to pay for a city tax.

Room was rather small but very neat and clean, bed comfortable, staff were pleasant to deal with, good location, I think room was soundproofed because we haven't heard a thing from neighbours and only noise that we heard was from the street. We could keep our baggage in the store after checking out. We would love to come back.

I wish other guests kept their little children under close supervision in the breakfast room, imagine carrying a hot cup of coffee and a plate with food and little kids running between my legs while parents couldn't be bothered to keep their kids at the table, it's just asking for an accident.
