Mercure Tour Eiffel Grenelle

The location is excellent as a base from where everything is close to you, especially since you have a metro station across the street. The room is comfortable. You have a safety deposit box and a super cute little fridge. Bed linen and towels are changed every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food and drinks offered are varied and of excellent quality. After breakfast, you can go to the small, pleasant garden within the hotel restaurant where you can light a cigarette with your morning coffee.

Breakfast offer could include some vegetables or salads.

Best location. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and just next to the Metro with nice cafes and bistros around. The staff also considered our request for our family to have rooms near each other.

Rooms are a bit small, but this is typical in Paris. Also, our room was only ready at almost 4 pm when the check in time is supposed to be 3 pm.

The location is excellent, with only a 5 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Also, there is a metro stop right outside the hotel. There was a nice produce market on the day we were there, which was selling beautiful cheese, pastries etc. The hotel was very clean and dog friendly, without a surcharge for our small dog. The check-in agent on duty spoke French, English and Portugese fluently, which is impressive to say the least.

It's a typical inner-city hotel in the sense that the rooms are very small indeed. Don't bring a big suitcase, because you'll struggle to find enough floor space to open it. Though cleanliness was good, the carpets, bathrooms etc. did feel a little worn-out and in need of a refresh.

We arrived late due to our flight being delayed, but there was no issue checking in. We (my 16-year-old daughter and I) went straight out to explore. McDonalds, O'Taco, and plenty of restaurants were still open and serving. We felt safe, and there were plenty of people out and about. During the day, plenty of places to get a snack (grocery stores) and a very handy Metro station virtually on the doorstep. The Eiffel Tower is only a 5-10 min walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, with great air-con (much needed in June!)

Pillows (X2) were both uncomfortable, together or individually. And that was it! A little on the expensive side, but due to the location and time of year that was to be expected.

We liked the room - it was comfortable, big enough and clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Even though I usually like a hotel with breakfast included, it was better than it wasn't included because there are several bakeries within a 3 minute walk of the hotel and I got to explore them all!

The gym was extremely hot and some of the equipment was breaking down. There was not a lot of equipment in the gym and no matts.

This hotel is very conveniently located right across the street from a subway station. We were able to see all of Paris by just walking across the street and then connecting various subway lines. It is also very clean, modern and has nicely decorated and well appointed rooms. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Europe. The staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks English very well. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. They had all kinds of choices, including scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, crapes, cured meats, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruits, and fresh baked breads and pastries. There was also an espresso machine and juices. We looked forward to having breakfast every day. The best thing of all was that we had a view room of the Eiffel Tower. Since we were there on Bastille Day, we were able to see all the fireworks and the light show emitting from the Eiffel Tower from the comfort of our room. It was very memorable and magical. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Paris.

Location fabulous at Grenelle. Waking up to the view of the Eiffel tower and being beautifully lit up at night was stunning. The local surrounds, cafes, bars and having every other convenience was awesome.

I would recommend a non-skid mat in the shiny new walk in showers which were beautiful, but very slippery especially for the mature aged.

The hotel was good as 4 star hotel, with good break fast and located next to metro station, also the location of hotel near Eiffel tower it’s about 10 minute walking, also a good restaurant around the hotel, I recommended the hotel for the price and the location

Night Parking employee was very rude with me, he was shouting and screaming because I parked my car in his parking, there was nothing indicating that the parking is booked

Accommodating reception, very nice and kind. Great rooms, very well-cleaned and definitely met my expectations. Also great location, just next to metro line 6 and Eiffel Tower.

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Not as much variety as I expected for the price. It was also rather crammed in the breakfast hall, and some of the employees were sort of impatient waiting for you to pick your breakfast so they could clean or refill. It gave a sort of stressful sensation.
