Room design is nice and modern, bathroom as well is nice and clean, has all the amenities you need. The view from the small balcony is cool too. Staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you have 1-2 day stay in Paris, which is what I did.

The rooms are tiny, I don't know if it was my room and all the others are quite small too. It was fine for me because I only stayed there for 2 nights, but if you're planning a longer stay I would assume it would get uncomfortable. Also my large suitcase and carry one took up most of the floor area, so if you're traveling with a partner in the room, it could get a bit stuffy.

Staying at Hotel des Plantes was pleasant. We loved the fact that it was in front of the Jardin des Plantes and in the Latin Quarter. The location is perfect. Room not REALLY clean. The warmest staff were the older gentleman whose shift was at night and the younger gentleman in the morning. The other staff came across as if they were posing; very standoffish. With a few exceptions, everyone we came across this time acted as if they were the protagonist of a movie titled "Paris"--LOL, meant as a joke. Wake up, Paris actors of a mock Nouvelle Vague! Rome is much better.

The stay was fine. The staff was a bit cold and did not show much initiative when questions were asked. A bit dull. Breakfast was ok for 9euros, a bit on the expensive side if compared to options on the street. I've been to Paris about 5 times and finally had to agree that service people act as if they were doing you a favor--not in the hotel necessarily, but very entitled. That was not my experience before whatsoever.

The hotel offers good breakfast for Paris standards. There were cereals and milk, fruit, yoghurts, bread, ham, eggs, cheese, coffee, tea, juice, jams and some sweet rolls. When we arrived at 11.30 the room was already waiting for us and they let us in which was pretty convinient. The room was clean and the bed was really comfy. There was a small coffee machine in the room and two coffees you can prepare (but no more than that). The hotel is located 3 min away from the meteo station and there is a range of small cafes and shops on the way.

The hotel room was very small-but I guess it is a standard for parisian hotels, same was the lift (2 people max.). The restaurant room was also very small so at times we needed to wait other people finish their breakfast so we get our place to sit. Provided were cosmetics for one person only even though we booked a room for two.

Hotel is located in a clean, beautiful area, with lots of great cafes, stores, and boulangeries. We felt very safe and spent a lot of time at the cafes meeting new people and visiting with the wait staff and people in our group. The staff at the hotel is exceedingly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well appointed.

The room was extremely small and difficult for my husband and myself to be in together. The breakfast downstairs was very disappointing. The milk was sour and the other food items didn't taste fresh. We chose to eat outside the hotel after one breakfast there.

Great hotel in a fantastic, more local spot but still with easy access to all the sites via bus, metro (20 mins to Gare du Nord) or bike - but also with lots to explore in walking distance such as well known Rue Mouffetard, Jardins des Plantes, Pantheon, Grand Mosque and plenty of gorgeous streets and neighbourhood gems! The hotel itself is pretty classic for Paris inside with narrow corridors, windy stairs and a tiny lift - which may surprise you, if you've not been to Paris before, but is really common (and personally I think adds to the charm). It has recently been refurbished, so the rooms are simple and modern with an industrial vibe. It comes with all the amenities you would need - a safe, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, TV, hangers, bathroom products, such as soap, shampoo and conditioner and cream. I found it to be quiet, very clean and a good size. There is a roof terrace that is open to all guests and is a lovely spot to read a book. Can't comment on the breakfast as I opted to go to local Cafes such as, Strada, Nuance and Jozi - but the downstairs area looked lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay here on a return visit to Paris!

Couple of minor snags such as window handle loose - informed reception who said they would look into it.

I made the reservation at the last minute, on Booking, due to some errors on the side of my organization. But, the price fit our budget, and the hotel room was lovely. I believe it was for wheelchair access, on the ground floor. There was a small patio (with a small 1/2 step up), with double doors. The bathroom was spacious and open, well-lit. Open closet space. Comfy Queen bed. And best of all, it was across the street from the Jardin des Plantes (southwest corner), to walk or jog in the morning. The mosque and its mint tea shop were nearby, and the natural history museum, of course. Some good restaurants and cafe's nearby, plus the metro. Not hectic.

They warned me upon arrival that people might pass by the door at night, because this specific room was on the ground floor, by the elevator. I was awoken a couple of times (I am a light sleeper), but the staff at the front desk always tried to quiet the noisier post-bar guests. The staff were super nice and experienced. Maybe a heavier door or a thick curtain inside the door at night would help with the noise. And, just because of the name of the hotel, I think some of the potted plants needed watering!

A lovely hotel in a great location near to 3 metro stations eateries and shops. Outside the busy parts but very easy to get to all the well known tourist areas. Easy walking distance to Pantheon and Sorbonne area, the Parc des Plantes opposite is beautiful. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. (better than my French). Good continental breakfast and regularly restocked. Rooms were clean, compact but functional. 24 hour reception. clean towels daily.

One small bottle of water on arrival and two nespresso pods. Not replaced once used.

The hotel was in a great location, only a few hundred metres from the metro and only a few stops from the Louvre and main Paris sights. Lovely bistros, bars and shops right outside the door. 30 mins walk to Notre Dame if you wanted to walk along the river. Rooms were immaculate with very comfortable beds, pillows, lovely bedding, safe, hairdryer, coffee machine etc. We travelled as a family and had a double and a twin. Bathrooms were small but were very smart and had fantastic walk in showers. Our rooms were at the end of a corridor and were very quiet indeed. The decor throughout the hotel was modern and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental, as expected, and had lots of choice - pastries, bread, cereals, cheese, meats, jams, fruit, yoghurts, hot and cold drinks. etc.

The drain in our shower was a bit smelly, but the room was warm so we kept our window open rather than make a fuss about it. My only fault with the hotel was the size of the towels. They were changed daily, but the bath towels were too small to wrap around your body and the hand towels were too small to wrap round your head. As the bathrooms are compact, it wasn't easy to dress in the bathroom and I can imagine if you were sharing a room with someone you didn't want to see you half naked, the towel size could be a problem!

The plants garden was just opposite, had a lovely view of the gates from the window. Close access to the museums in the garden. A 10 minute walk to the Taxi Boat on the river, allowing you to see all the sights of Paris. Clean room and bathroom, great shower, decent breakfast which was a self service buffet. Comfortable beds and heavy curtains to block out the light if you need an early night.

It would have been nice if the coffee was topped up when the room was cleaned on the second day of our stay.

Close to metro, good shops & restaurants around, the air conditioners were working way too much :D

The reception is clueless about the room cards. I had to come down & up almost everyday since they were getting expired everyday. The toilet was not clean and could see red stinks on the toilet. Even after complaining, it was not cleaned. Rooms are extremely small and as tiny as their elevators. Breakfast was repetitive with boring options.
