Hotel Saint Christophe

Cutest little hotel! It’s only a small building but it was great with the little French opening windows, loved it!

They asked for you to leave the key with them when you went out which was unusual and there was no safe so I felt like I needed to take all of my valuables with me every time I left.

Loved the location of the hotel and how clean the rooms are with all the amenities I needed for a weekend stay. Very comfortable! Please note I cannot comment on the breakfast because I did not have it.

The overnight concierge was quite rude - I returned to the hotel on Friday night around 12:30, and I needed to ring the bell since the front door was locked. He scolded me and said that he thought everyone in the hotel was already inside and that I should not return so late. I apologized and he asked me to leave my key with the concierge, so he knows who is out. On Saturday, I left my key with the concierge when I left the hotel. Again, I returned around midnight and the same person gave a rude attitude and said that everyone else in the hotel was sleeping while he let me in. I do not feel like I was returning at an unreasonable hour for a weekend. Other than my interaction with this particular staff, everything else was wonderful about my stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in November 2021 and really enjoyed our stay. We are in our 30’s from Scotland. The hotel was clean and centrally located, it was walking distance to the Latin Quarter so there was plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores a short walk away. There are 2 metro stations a few min walk away too. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean, the bathroom has an amazing shower and plenty of space. The bed was really comfortable, we had an amazing sleep both nights. Our room was on the 5th floor, there is a small elevator which was perfect. Our room had large windows which opened up with a lovely view of the beautiful surrounding buildings. The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. On check in the lovely receptionist even gave us a bottle opener and wine glasses so we could enjoy our wine in the room. There was a small fridge too with drinks available. We would highly recommend this hotel to all & would love to stay again. Merci et à bientôt!!

Clean & central location

The hotel is in a great location, close to good restaurants and shopping as well as the metro. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful.

The only negative was the breakfast. While the ladies in charge of the breakfast were absolutely excellent in every way, the food, itself, was not good. (stale croissant, over-cooked boiled eggs, etc.) We would stay again at St. Christoph but skip the breakfast, as there is a lovely little bakery just across the street serving delicious food.

Room was clean and centrally located. Air conditioning worked well with the 33C outside. Elegantly decorated. Curtains blacked out light well. Near a subway.

It would be nice to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room but the free coffee in the lobby was good. Breakfast value was ok. Bread and pastries were very good. Perhaps include ham or other cheeses. I understand cooking is not possible. It was good that there were boiled eggs. If the twins beds could be separated further this would be good.

Perfect little hotel, in a great part of Paris. 2 minutes walk to a small square with lots of resturants. Perfect for visiting all the sites of Paris. Great staff and immaculately clean. Will definitely be back.

Would have liked tea and coffee in the room, but apart from that perfect.

Conveniently located in the Latin Quarter a short walk from the cafes of Place de la Contrascarpe and the many nice restaurants on Rue Mouffetard, this very nice hotel offered a surprisingly quiet night's sleep. Also the Metro stop at Place Monge is just steps away. The staff at the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. A small lift made it easy to take luggage to the room. The room was small but well organized, and the shower was actually quite large with good water pressure. Finally, there is air conditioning for the occasional hot summer day.

The Wi-Fi was inconsistent for streaming, but sufficient for basic email correspondence and Internet access. We only had the breakfast one day @ 9 Euro per person. It was very basic due to limited kitchen facilities, so we preferred to venture out to nearby cafes - higher priced but more variety and outdoor views.

Great location in the Latin Quarter in the 5th!! Metro Place Monge a block up, open-air maket 3 times a week, boulangierie, fish market, butcher shops and grocery stores all within a short walk. We were situated directing in between both Luxembourg Gardens and Plantes de Jardins and less than 1/4 mile from the Pantheon. Good restaurants as well. The hotel recommended restaurant Lilane which is a 5 minute walk. The food is fabulous and reasonably priced. We chose to try the breakfast at the hotel one time and it was ok, but we loved going to the bolongerie across the street for their fabulous croissants, pain chocolate, croissant almond and pain suisse to start our day instead. Also, the staff is wonderful!!! All so helpful and kind......and patient, lol

I believe they upgraded me at no extra cost, based on availability. It's a pretty little hotel, with a good location in the Latin Quarter. I loved the comfy king bed with duvet (just for me!), the shower (both stationary and handheld), the storage and little fridge, the openable, double French-door style window looking out onto the street, which didn't have a great view, but allowed fresh air in, as well as the sounds of Paris. The Wi-Fi was very good, which was helpful, because none of the TV shows allowed English subtitles, so I streamed on my Kindle. The TV was a smart TV, but I didn't want to link it. Lots (and lots) of restaurants nearby, and it's fun to walk around in every direction and check them out. A lot of options for Uber pickups/dropoffs within steps of the front door. Very nice, helpful people, who are variously fluent in English, own/run this place. It has a good, friendly atmosphere.

The single elevator is tiny and slow, but wasn't a problem for me personally. When not lugging bags, you can always take the charming spiral staircase. Others have complained about the breakfast; admittedly, it's not great, and seems pricey, but they're trying to go beyond the typical French breakfast of a croissant and coffee, with hard boiled eggs, toast yogurt, and some other stuff. They've probably gone as far as they can without dealing with a "restaurant" license for hot food.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room and hotel were super clean and tastefully decorated. The a/c was quiet and effective (and controllable). Continental breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate.

The room was on the small size. Unfortunately our booked room had been allocated to someone else when we arrived so not sure if the room we were supposed to have had would have been better. For a 3 night stay, it didn't really matter too much. The lift was very small (we were on the 6th (top) floor) so walking up the stairs was not really feasible.
