This visit was my first to Paris and I wanted to stay in an apartment that was close to all the sites I wanted to see, yet comfortable and affordable. Hotel Minerve is all of those things. The staff are friendly and accommodating, there is 24/7 reception service in case you need anything. The buffet breakfast was tasty, fresh and the coffee is good. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was great to sleep in. The location was about a 20-30 min walk to all things in various directions (Notre Dame, Catacombs of Paris, Eiffel Tower, Luxembourg Palace Etc) and the Paradis Latin Cabaret theatre is moments from the hotel. There are great food and wine options all around. Overall I had a lovely stay and would certainly book with Hotel Minerve again. Thank you

The room was perfectly sized for just one person and very cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable and loads of pillows to maximise comfort. The location was great and there were so many restaurants, bars and supermarkets closed as well as a pharmacy just right across the street. A few minute walk to a metro station and a park. It was very clean and staff was extremely helpful and kind and really made you feel welcome every time you walked in the door.

The only downside I can really put is that the aircon leaked if you put it below 25, I let the front desk know and they said there had been some problems with the aircon and apologised so I understood. The elevator is tiny and not good for claustrophobes! I was on the 4th floor so I endured it going up but oh my! It was beautiful though. The walls are slightly thin too so expect to hear your neighbors coming and going, mine were very quiet during quiet hours though so I have no real complaints there. Overall it was really good.

Lovely property, excellent location. The property has a lift (sml) & air-conditioning that worked really well. Great bed & a fantastic rain shower head. We had a balcony off our room which was just beautiful, sitting out there having a meal or a cuppa we felt very “French”. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The room was small at 14 sqm’s which we think included the balcony but we managed, was just a bit tricky with our cases & really nowhere for toiletries. Netflix & Amazon did not work & the only English speaking channels on the tv you cld get were the news channels.

The location is very good as it is within walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pantheon, Luxembourg gardens and the Metro as well as many cafes, patisseries, and restaurants. I felt very safe all around the neighborhood. The rooms are small(compared to US standards) but were functional and clean. Air conditioning worked well. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Showers are hand held which takes a little getting used to. Many, perhaps all, of the rooms have single beds that they push together for couples but they won't stay together if you sleep in the middle, the beds slide apart and you will end up on the floor, haha. Otherwise, I thought this hotel was a great value!

Staff was very courteous and bilingual. Rooms were small but clean and modern - even had excellent daily housekeeping. Beds and linens were comfortable. Location was convenient - safe, easy to get to public transport, good restaurants in the area.

The elevator literally fit two people - snuggled together. Or one person and one suitcase. We generally took the stairs to the 5th floor, so not a great hotel for people with mobility issues (Paris is, overall, hard to navigate for people with mobility issues). Breakfast looked very nice but was a little high in price.

The room was small but comfortable. Bed and Bathroom were comfortable also. The best part was the location, considering the price. Walking distance to the pantheon and the arena and the location in the latin quarter with cafes etc. was unbeatable. A 5 min. evening stroll to Rue Moufetard for a Fondue was very pleasant. We enjoyed a good walk to the Champs Elysee but returned by train. Train ride for 2 from CDG airport needed only 1 change of train at 10 Euros PP. Breakfast was a steal at 9 Euros pp. We always returned to this area for dinner. Staff gave great directions by train and were very friendly. Love the old fashion vibe that was maintained in the upgrades.

Elevator barely fit 2 persons with suitcases and did not work all the time. If you are on the 6th floor, this is a problem. We used the stairs since we were on the 3rd floor without any trouble. Careful if you are disabled. Limited outlets.

My friend and I were going to be in Paris for less than 24 hours. We needed an inexpensive place with a great location and we found Hotel Minerve. It was a charming place with narrow little hallways and bedrooms that truly made us feel like we were in another world. The location was excellent and we were pleased with all that we were able to see on foot in such a short period of time. One thing that we did not anticipate, but which greatly improved our very short visit was the excellent staff. Valerie and another woman whose name I did not get, were so helpful to us and so genuinely friendly. They enthusiastically made suggestions when we asked for their help finding wine to take to a friend, as well as giving directions and helping us get a taxi to the airport, all things that are typical for staff members to help with, but their friendliness made us feel very much at home.

Since we were only there for one night it was not as much of a problem for us, but the bedroom was rather small for two friends. I would definitely return to Hotel Minerve if I ever have the opportunity to go back to Paris, but if it was for a longer visit, I might get two separate rooms since we were not a couple. There are also probably larger rooms that we could also choose.

I stayed in 2 rooms, the first was a a basic room with double bed, very small, all 10m. Still, it was clean, warm, slept well, window was not facing the street so it was silent, bathroom was in a different room with a door. Breakfast for 8 euro was well worth it. Second room, a superior double room, larger, like 15-ish, newly renovated, new carpet, new bed, led's, small desk.

First room is very small. Although the bed is double, it's not possible for 2 people to move in that room. Second room : Downsides were that it was loud as it was facing the street, i did not sleep well, and toilet was inside the room. Literally they put a glass panel and door in a corner and behind it was the toilet and shower. This would be quite inconvenient if not alone.

the hotel has a brilliant location and is very quaint and cute. the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable for our one night stay. There is a lovely wine bar on the corner right next to the hotel with a great atmosphere. We were able to leave our bags in a safe room until our flight that night.

unfortunately I was double charged for the room, once by booking.com (as I chose) and again at check in. when I raised this via email after my stay it was immediately dealt with and I was refunded so it was a small mistake. one annoying thing is that the shower head doesn’t fix to the wall and it was hard to wash my long hair as I was too tall for the shower head cord!! Also as with all of Paris the room is small!

Nice cosy friendly hotel in Latin quarter, just one road back from the Seine. Room was in the attic so quite small but fine! Clean and comfortable and everything worked well. 5 minute walk to metro and restaurants within 30 seconds. About 5-10 walk to Notre Dam Stunning breakfast available for 15euros well worth the cost, in the pretty basement. Staff really friendly and helpful with onward travel. And stored our luggage.

Nothing it was as expected.
