the location and the cozy environment. It is just in front of Gare d’Austerliz, and the metro that gets you everywhere you need to go. It is a few minutes away from the Latin quarter. There are restaurants right outside of the hotel, as well as a McDonald’s and a small boulangerie where you can buy freshly baked pastries. The neighborhood felt also very safe, next to a residential area. The staff was also kind and the places were neat.

room was a bit small, however it had everything that you could need, as well as a closet to store everything so that you have room to move around.

Staff at check in were pleasant and accommodating. Room was very clean and staff were always helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting Paris. A few minutes walk from the metro and RER railway (for Versaille), and about 10 minutes walk from the Batoboat quay also. Bed was comfortable. We had an excellent stay and would recommend it to others for a very central clean room in an outstanding location.

Room was very small, but we expected that so we were not unhappy with it. There are larger rooms available if you pay more. Shower was too small to close the door and shower properly unless you are exceptionally small, but we got around that by showing with the door open and being careful with the water on the floor. Rooms are not particularly well soundproofed, but overall noise was not too much of a problem to us.

The hotel is very close to the metro, literally a 1min walk if that so it's really easy to get everywhere, plus Jardin des Plantes is 5 a min walk round the corner, as well as the Outdoor statue museum along the river Siene (another 5 mins after the garden). The room itself is very small, but it was cosy and suitable as it was only myself.

Maybe this is just me and my preferences :) But the bathroom was very very small, as in the shower door opens a good amount but not all the way because the toilet is in the way so it felt a little cramped.

The location was great, the receptionist Sam was very kind and patient with us as we did not speak French . The lady who hosted the breakfast is exceptional, very kind attentive and patient. The bed was comfortable and the pillows too. The hotel is very clean and the toilet and shower and rooms are kept spotless. There was air conditioning and free WiFi. I liked the location too as everything is accessible. There are also many restaurants downstairs to grab a meal.

I was a-bit disappointed that we could not use the TV at all as every Channel is in French. There were no digital channels therefore we were not able to watch the news etc at all .

Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel was clean and tidy. Its location only 3 minutes walking distance of the railway station suited us very well especially when the train was half an hour late and our arrival time was 10pm.

Please make it clearer that a "cosy double" meant the room would be very small. The bed seemed a bit smaller than a double too. We are in our 70s and it was not easy getting into the bed because it was pushed up against one wall. I asked to change to a bigger room with a fridge but the hotel was fully booked.

We had a very short overnight stay leaving at 6.30 am . Athough very small ( we didn't know we'd booked a compact room) the room was extremely well designed in every respect - use of space, lighting, bathroom, writing table and provided every thing we needed for a short stay. The kettle, coffee & tea was a very welcome surprise. Reception very helpfully provided us with a wake up call.

Having to negotiate a short flight of steps with heavy bags after leaving the lift. A compact room would not provide enough storage space for a longer stay.

The man at the reception at night kindly explained in English. The room is compact but clean. The next morning, we took the train from Austerlitz. Great location next to the train station.

The door of the shower room does not open because it is obstructed by the shower. My body is very thin and thin even among Asians, so I could barely get through, but I don't think a normal physique or a man would be able to enter the shower room.The photo shows the door open. To get inside from here, the door can't be closed unless you pass through a gap of about 20 cm with the wall.

Great location, close to restaurants, 10 m to the metro, walking distance to many attractions in Paris. Rooms although small are very clean and comfortable.

The weakest thing about this hotel is the breakfasts. Actually, not the food but the service. We usually waited for everything. And the lady brought 3 slices of cheese each and we waited for juice and basically everything. She cleaned the tables only when someone came and waited for a free seat.

Had ac. It is very common in France NOT to have ac, and when it's hot, you really need that to get some decent sleep. I understand that the country has made this choice to reduce carbon emissions, but people can die from heat exhaustion and travelers need a place to cool off after walking for miles in the sun during summer. Also, although the room was very small, it was designed appropriately to make proper use of the space. I had no trouble getting my stuff situated for a quick night stay. Admittedly, I felt it was easier to stay in this room than many other larger rooms with lots of space and unnecessary furniture. Also, right next to all the public transit options you could ever need.

The main light would dim after a few seconds. Not sure if this was intended to save energy or if the bulb was bad but it was annoying/creepy. Also the room was very small but I think given it's location and access to ac it is expected.

Great area we felt very comfortable and safe. Nice restaurants to the left and right of the entrance, very convenient.

We appreciate how clean our room was but it was extremely small, tiny bathroom. My husband is 6’5 and could barely fit in the shower. I’m 5’5 and struggled a bit myself. We were not looking to lounge in our room all day but it was a bit uncomfortable getting ready for each day.
