Hotel Ferney République

The room was very cozy we didn't need to turn the heater on for the first 2 nights because it was warm enough already. Bed was comfortable, staffs were very friendly and helpful. There is metro station very close to the hotel, restaurants and shops too.

The lift was very small, maximum 2 people could fit in, maybe 2 adults and a kid. Bathroom was small, the shower I think it was broken because it couldn't stayed hanging, we had to shower holding it. There isn't enough plugs in the bedroom, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. The plug in the bedroom is far from the bed.

Location amazing..very central to metro...plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby....great friendly staff...nothing too much trouble...quite spacious for price...good value for money...I am suprised at the other reviews ..it is not 5 star so do not expect 5 star and it is great great value in an amazing location and you need to be realistic...great friendly staff

Wi fi bad ...which is a major issue these days as everything these days is on line (booking tours ,tickets etc)...no aircon or fan so room was stuffy and hot...we had buy a fan

1- location. Close to everything. 3 min walking distance to metro. many restaurants around. perfect 👍🏻 . 2- staff. Everyone was amiable and helpful. The hotel was offering breakfast for 7 euros that included croissant, french bread, butter, jam, honey, one small cookie, cheese, coffee, and a glass of orange juice. This was a very great deal comparing what you get for 7 euros in any restaurant. Most restaurants give you a preset breakfast for 8.50-10 euros which includes coffee, orange juice, and a croissant. 3- funny elevator for a one person with luggage))). 4- overall, for that price, I got a perfect location, a private room with a private bathroom and shower. Very glad I found it. 😃

Perfect place for this price! Cozy room with comfort bed and clean bathroom. There were hair-dryer, big towels and mini-soaps. Take your own shower gel. It seemed warm in the room as there was heating, not on maximum, but quite enough. There were 2 blankets, one's thin covering the bed above sheet and another one is additional plaid. Yes, we found one burnt dot from cigarettes, but it is absolutely non-important, because bedding was fresh after laundry. For wi-fi ask ticket on reception with one-time login and password, which should be entered once and it will be available for 7 days. Network was good. Staff is very polite and helpful. They were always smiling and it was pleasant communication. We have received a great recommendation about how to get to necessary station on early morning departure, when metro is not working yet (tip: Noctillien buses). You will be asked to leave keys on reception every time you go outside the hotel, it will be explained like there are cameras on each floor. So we haven't been very upset when we found our door unlocked one day on returning from walking, because money and documents were always with us ;) Room-cleaning was performed every day, wonderful! Oberkampf and Republique metro stations are in 300 m nearby each, or there is only 2 km till Notre Dame and further centre. It took 30 min of pleasant relaxed walking by foot. On next trip to Paris we will definitely keep in mind this place, thanks and success!

We were living on the second floor, somewhere nearby was a metro railway, perhaps. So a hum from the train can be heard from time to time. We considered it as a local color and even didn't pay attention :)

Cozy little hotel, clean, friendly staff, perfect location. Basic amenities in the room. Bed exceptionally good, ask for extra pillow

I was in a room on the ground floor so could hear everything and everyone coming in and out of the building. But for Paris standards, not a big deal.

Main upside is the great location. There are not many hotels in this price range with such a central location. The republique metro station gives you access to the whole city. The room is comfortable and cleaned daily. Reception staff were helpful.

The wifi works, but is not the best. Doors to other rooms can be loud in the evening.

staff is really kind. they offered us the suite at same price and is really good. you need to take into consideration the price and situation, and for us was more than good! lift yes, it's unforgettable, but at least they have. you can take it if you want.We recommend! merci!

It was a comfortable stay in a clean environment - no sign of bed bugs. The front desk staff and Monsieur were very welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again.

The only fault is not having proper pillows for sleeping.

The hotel is located very close to the metro station.The beds were comfortable.

The towels were dirty and the bathroom is pretty small.Also there arent many plugs.Overall i thinkt its worth the money esspecialy if you are not staying longer than 3 days.

Location of the hotel is great, it has everything you need. The staff is wonderful, they are very polite, fully at disposal and welcoming everyone nicely. It was a nice stay in the amazing city.

You could see that the furniture is old and the walls were not renovated. It needs a bit of renovation, at least in our room
