Hôtel Fabric

The staff were very helpful and friendly, they upgraded our room as it was my birthday and the facilities were great, the bathroom was very modern and the brand of toiletries they provided were excellent. It was a good location, near subway stations so it was easy to get around Paris.

Given that we were upgraded to a larger room, it was a good size however it made us realise that our original room would have been far too small, so we were extremely lucky to be upgraded. The area around the hotel is not the most safest, there is a lot of homeless people around the area and in parks, so always be careful when out and about. The bed was not that comfy, so that was the only downside.

Lovely and helpful staff, good location and very clean rooms! Exceptional service. We arrived early around 12 and the reception team kindly checked us in straightaway and we were given a complimentary upgrade. We really enjoyed the hammam which can be booked for private use.

-friendly and helpful staff (thank you Claire, Rui and Monic) -the complementary Perrier water -L’Occitane toiletry -the complementary tea and coffee in the lobby -lots of hangers in the room:) - access to different metro lines - access to many bar and cafe (we really liked le petit Zagros in 2 min walk from the hotel)

it’s not that I didn’t like, just suggestions: There was no shower cap and body lotion. I didn’t ask the reception, maybe they would provide upon request. the pillows could be improved

We almost loved our room because windows allow lots of sunlight into the rooms(4th floor)but the room 405 has a saggy mattress and squeaky bed frame. should be replaced.

Every single staff member we encountered was absolutely brilliant and helpful. Really made the stay enjoyable. Thank you so much! The decor was bright and fun, the steam room was a great addition and the drinks and cakes available throughout the day and evening was a welcome touch. Location is a few stops from Gard de Nord. Really quiet location with a few supermarkets close , one next door —and a wonderful boulangerie a few minutes away (Landemaine) A reservation at Train Bleu was booked for us by one of the staff the day before we wanted to go which was brilliant! It was showing as fully booked for weeks!

Not sure if it’s standard throughout the hotel but the toilet in our room was separate to the bathroom and it didn’t have a handbasin in there - there was only a basin in the bathroom

The property was well located, close to the metro and lots of great bars and restaurants. The lobby was beautifully decorated and we loved the honesty bar each evening and the morning coffee. The rooms are gorgeous too with big comfy beds. The staff at hotel fabric were friendly and welcoming and we’re always so helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed the hamman spa and it was perfect way to relax after a day exploring Paris. We would not hesitate to return to Hotel Fabric.

The air conditioning in the room is very strong and you have to find the balance so you don’t wake up cold! not a complaint just an observation

Well designed and beautiful architecture, quiet street and soundproof rooms. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, and we had the lovely surprise of a free room upgrade on arrival. The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped, lovely shower and the bed was very comfortable. Free hot drinks on tap throughout the stay, and a well stocked honesty bar in the evenings. We didn’t have time to book the hammam, but I sneaked a look and wish we had! There were several metro stations close by, and it was only a short walk to Place de La Bastille and into the nice shopping areas of the Marais. We thought it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in so far, and we have visited Paris numerous times!

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like about the hotel, and the location is obviously becoming quite a Cody destination- some fabulous restaurants very close by. Had my ankle been more mobile (I broke it just before Christmas) it wouldn’t have been a problem to walk slightly longer distances to the move touristic areas such as the river, Left Bank, Grands Boulevards and even Montmartre.

Gorgeous hotel, beautifully designed and very interesting history as a fabric manufacturer in the past (they should play to this more, such a cool tidbit). Staff was super friendly - the kindest I've ever come across in Paris. Well situated near tons of great restaurants, bars, bakeries etc. in hip Oberkampf and some fun shopping nearby in the Marais. Definitely go to Boulangerie Utopie for delicious patisseries! Our room was ready early which was clutch after a long transatlantic flight where we barely slept.

Smell of sewage lingered in the hallway attached to the ground floor rooms. Seemed to be there the whole time we were there (~30 hours).

The rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Since we were there during a heat wave it was a relief that the air conditioning worked very well. We also enjoyed the compliementary coffee and teas as well as the honesty bar available in the evenings. The hotel was close to multiple metro stops which made it very easy to get around.

The only negative I can think of is that there is a window between the bathroom and the bedroom area. If you get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, it lights up the whole room. Otherwise, no complaints!
