Hôtel Beaurepaire

I enjoyed my stay here! We specifically wanted to be near Republique and this hotel was the best rate we found for the location. I loved the cafe next door and walking around the canal. This may be one of the smallest hotel rooms I've stayed in but if fit my partner and myself just fine. Bed was comfy, the room was clean and the staff were very nice.

This hotel requires you to leave the key at the desk every time you leave for the day. I don't have an issue with this in practice but when I came back to find a new receptionist at the desk (one we hadn't met yet), I was expecting they would ask for my id to verify my identity. I was surprised when they didn't ask. It just made me worried if anyone could just go in and say they were staying in a random room. I would stay here again however!

excellent location and good value for money. Paris is expensive and this was ok priced and central. the room had everything what we needed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. 24h portier which is nice to have. we had a top floor room with a nice balcony and view. the tiny elevator was an event for us and will make us laugh for many years to come. Just for that you should book that hotel.

everything is small (normal in Paris) - the elevator, the rooms and bathroom. It has everything you need but on very little room .It was hot already and we came in May - wonder how it is there in summer - no air-con in our room. the elevator is the smallest i have seen so far - maye for that you should book the hotel. Its so fun to ride in it.

The location was just out of the centre which, with an easy metro nearby was actually perfect for us. Obviously we would of preferred a more central location but with the convience of the price and easy transport routes this was not a problem. The guy on the reception throughout the day was also really nice. Couldn’t of been more helpful with everything. Also this place must have the world smallest lift which is definitly something you will want to see

I think the bathroom could of been a little more spacious. Me and my girlfriend are both pretty tall and it was a bit of a squeeze but Overall we didn’t find this a problem

I liked that our room was cleaned and tidied everyday. Staff did an outstanding job in this regard. Every morning we could smell the croissants baking downstairs. It smelled so good that I regret not trying the hotel breakfast.

The size of the room was smaller than we expected, but I suppose that can't be easily remedied due to the size and age of the building.

There was a nice vibe to the hotel and I felt at home straight away. The staff were cheerful and polite. I was staying on my own at the hotel and going out to meet a friend in Paris but I felt safe on my own in the hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the cleanliness was good. I’d definitely stay here again and ask for the same room.

I liked the place but for some people they might not like the fact this is a location where you will hear a few people enjoying the Parisian night life so may find it not possible to fall asleep early on in the evening. The room isn’t massive but I think you can just about swing a cat in it.

Hotel satisfactory and clean and we liked the area as close to restaurants and the Metro. Reception staff welcoming and helpful and there was an area to sit while waiting for taxi to station

Expected the room to be small, but there were no cupboards or drawers so we had to live out of suitcases

Location is great, near the east train station where we arrived and left. The room was ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Unfortunately no air conditioning and we had during the day up to 42 degrees :-(( and no fridge either. There was at least a fan... The room was a bit dusty (could see it on the phone or furniture)

Staff were very friendly and helpful, asked for an iron and a travel adapter and they provided us with both with no extra charge! The room size was fine (surprised after reading other reviews). Also allowed us to check in a few hours early. Location was perfect with many restaurants, fast foods, cafes, supermarkets, and a metro station right beside hotel. Great hotel for the price, just bare in mind you're not going to get a luxurious hotel for cheap in Paris.

Lift was small but did the job for us!

I have been staying at this hotel every time I am in Paris. It used to be called Hotel Republique. Stay is always pleasant, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Good thing is that is few steps away from the Republique metro station where many Metro lines converge. There are also many restaurants in the area. Franprix (used to be Leader Price) is next door and a Monoprix is closed by if you need any groceries. The rooms are small but cozy, the new renovation in the hotel really is nice. Part of the charm of this hotel is the tiniest and narrowest elevator. It is always a pleasant stay at this location.

The staff was very friendly at check-in and throughout the stay. The hotel and the rooms were clean and housekeeping daily was very good. The location is good and close to a metro! The bakery across the street is a bonus!

As read in the reviews, the rooms and bathrooms are small, but manageable.
