Hôtel Albe Saint Michel

This is a nice little gem in a great location surrounded by cafes and shops. It is within walking distance to the Metro, bookstores, pharmacy, small grocery stores, the Seine…and pretty much anything else you’d need. Our room was pleasant, clean, and we loved having a balcony with a view. A buffet breakfast is available at reasonable cost serving both hot and cold items. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe…I was there with my 13 year old granddaughter.

Perfect location Metro and RER just around the corner.Latin Quarter area accessible to all attractions.Notre Dame is just a block away.Pick up point for Hop on and Hop off bus is on the side of Shakespeare book store.Took a bus to Musee Orsay. The room thermostat worked perfectly fine love that it warms up quickly Elevator is efficient can fit 4 people without too much squeeze.or 2 people with luggages can fit.Elevator is also fast Soundproof rooms Clean carpets,Very good mattresses,Big fluffy pillows. Kettle in the room Small Fridge in the room Safe in the room Shower is Modern love the toiletries Alcotherm Felt very safe and secure in the area Reception area is spotless and employees are all warm and friendly Carrefour,Franprix and Moonprix near This place is PERFECT for us

+ Best Location - Half a minute walk to the St. Michel Metro, 1 minute to RER B (straight shot to/from CDG), 2 mins to Seine River, 3 mins. to Notre Dame Church and only a few seconds to bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets. + Very very comfortable mattress and modern bathroom, room is small but this is apparently by Paris standards so nothing to complain about, we had 3 beds and enough space for hanging clothes, cabinets + safe and fridge + room is very quiet if all (well-insulated) windows are closed, but prepare to hear the hustle and bustle outside if you decide to leave them open for fresh air at night. It is what it is. + small breakfast buffet is good with a cozy area. If you prefer more variety like those big hotels, then this is not for you. Adjust your expectations and it will all be fine. All good- just the right place to immerse yourself in the local lifestyle. And a great place to retire to after a looong day of seeing all the touristic sights. Even my choosy German Mother-in-law approved

too many things to see in Paris and not enough time!

location is great. close to tube. if you come in Eurostar it’s direct on line 4 to st michel station right next to hotel. RER line B is also at the other end of the road. 15 min walk to centre Pompidou and Louvre and Notre Dame is literally at the end of the road and boat trips/buses run from nearby. shower was really good. Room was clean and warm. Reception staff generally friendly. Lots of restaurants and the river literally on the doorstep.

Strong drain odour from the bathroom. There was a window in there which we opened and that helped, but not ideal when it’s cold. Beds were very hard and not particularly comfortable. Great having bars, shops etc on the doorstep, but it made it noisy at night. to be fair that’s to be expected in such a central location.

This hotel is the only good decision we made in so many mishaps in paris during our stay 1. Good location, literally just in front st. Michel station and walking distance to notre dame and st. Chapelle. There is one good boulangerie at the foot of the hotel that serves very good bread and pastry. The hotel being in 6th arr also is the best place to enjoy pub, restau at budget price of you are fond of food travel 2. Bed are comfortable 3. Room and bathrooms are clean 4. Friendly staff 5. There is a lift 6. 24/7 room service

Nothing in this hotel gave us a headache. It makes our stay in paris memorable and comfortable

Absolutely loved our stay at Albe hotel. This is the 2nd time i've stayed (10 years between visits!) - for me, it's really hard to fault anywhere in Paris. Here, you are right next to the metro and a train station that had a lift so it made getting to / from Gard du Nord or the airport with your suitcases a breeze. The neighbourhood is bustling with bars and restaurants, and it is very easy to get around. The breakfast here was delightful and the building is tip top.

Rooms are on the slightly small side, but that little balcony looking out onto the rooftops on Paris certainly make it worth it.

Location was wonderful...close to Notre Dame and Saint Chappelle and Musee Cluny. Unfortunately we could not go the Museums as they are not open on Mondays! Room was a bit smaller than expected but not unusual in Europe. Loved the large bathroom and great shower. Staff were very helpful and booked us a taxi for our Tuesday flight departing from Charles de Gaulle airport. There are many wonderful restaurants and cafes close by so no need for a lot of walking after a busy sight seeing day. Breakfast was very good and when I asked if they had gluten free bread available they did. This one small thing made my day as we had a very difficult time in France finding gluten free bread options!

Rooms desperately need fans in the washrooms as rooms get stuffy after showers and we had a very difficult time getting the A/C to work to cool down the room. Room was noisy when windows were open. Paint smell in the hall but not bothersome- good to see hotel doing updates and maintaining the property! Rooms a bit more expensive than I would like but everything is more expensive in 2022!

The location is superb. Latin quarter is nice to walk, lively day and night and well connected by public transportation. The hotel is comfortable, staff is nice and helpful. The room was bigger than expected in Paris. Coffee in the room. Good beds, air conditioner (important in the hot Parisian summer). We didn't try the breakfast. It seems to be a waste to take a breakfast when you have so many good pastries right down in the street.

The elevator is small (3 persons max) and slow. So if you are in the 6th floor you can sometimes wait 2-3 minutes for the elevator to get back up to pick you up. A bit pricey, but hotels in Paris are expensive in general.

The location is very central, right at the heart of the latin quarter and really close to the metro. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. The cleaning service was solid and thoughtful, paying attention to the little details. The room was pleasant, bed and pillows were comfortable

The room was a bit small but that's common in Paris and didn't really bother us. A fridge in the room would have been nice, we used the minibar instead but it wasn't very cold. Also I wish the shower had a full glass door, instead it was just open on the side so the bathroom would get a bit wet after every shower. All in all those were just small things and we really enjoyed our stay

location was exceptional. metro station just a block away and lots of restaurants at literally the door steps and within easy walking distance. and easy 5-10 minute evening strolls to Norte Dame. we found a great patisserie 15 minutes away for our daily breakfast avocado toast, quiche, and exceptionally beautiful and absolutely delicious pastries. our one requirement is that the rooms be clean and they were. the bed linens were very nice.

the rooms are tiny so with luggage you have to be resourceful about organization. there was no separate shampoo and conditioner but I had brought my own. shampoo and body wash combination is what was provided. the guy who checked us in was surly and curt. French I guess!!
