We did not take advantage of the breakfasts, so I can't comment. We DID see others enjoying breakfast and it looked delicious. Best parts: The room was good sized, the bathroom had a bathtub, the minibar was always filled, the windows opened onto the street, the coffee maker allowed us to have coffee when we awoke. But MOST enjoyable were the staff. Alex (front desk) was lovely, accommodating, and fun to talk to. There was another staff member who usually deals with reservations. He was also accommodating and informative. The cleaning staff was just lovely.

We did not have robes in the room, and we learned late that we could ask for them. We were not provided with wash cloths; these should be part of the bathroom accessories. We ran out of toilet paper! There should be ample toilet paper at all times

Location was outstanding - a quiet, pretty street but only steps away from all the action of St Germain- very close to the Seine and St Michel Metro. Staff were excellent - particularly Willy who welcomed us on arrival and spoke excellent English. Very responsive - the hotel had compiled a a really good a list of restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby which were excellent. The lift was not working when we arrived so Willy sent us across the road to the bar of their sister hotel where we were offered free drinks and snacks while we waited for 30 mins for the lift to be fixed - I thought this was impressive from a service point of view. We got two connecting room for ourselves and our two children. Rooms were very spacious with good aircon. We didn't take breakfast but I saw people having it - and it looked really good.

Property photographs very well and decor is nice but the fittings are tired, particularly the bathrooms - looks like it could do with a renovation. The floor tiles in the lift were broken. For this reason I would say that the property is quite expensive for the price although I expect that the location (which is very very good) probably accounts for the price. I don't know that I would say it was quite 4 star but we did really enjoy our one night stay there.

Perfect location, close to the many touristic attractions. Many cafes and restaurants around. Nice and cozy hotel in an old Parisian building. Very friendly staff. Great room size for a family.

The price for a night was a little bit expensive. Also, there was no iron in the room and you had to use laundry service which was expensive too.

We had a great stay at Villa d'Estrees. The pickup from the airport was super convenient and we were grateful to not have to organize a taxi. The room was super spacious for Paris standards, the bathtub was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our questions. The area is so great for walking around and exploring the Latin Quarter and getting to some of the main museums and sites of Paris. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great location in Paris. Close to restaurants, cafes, quaint streets and plazas and a couple of big Avenues for shopping. Close to subway lines and regional rail to outskirts of Paris, like Versailles. You could easily get to anywhere in Paris -and we did. But just walking the area around the hotel was also a delight. The hotel is one block from the Siene and a walk or metro stop or two to museums, including the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. The hotel Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed's mattress was a bit firm/hard for my preference. The quaint small street the hotel is on has a pub and some night life. So on some nights it was a bit noisy to around midnight or once even later. The narrow street and stone building facades allowed the noise to carry up clearly to our 3rd floor room, which overlooked the street (Rue Gît-le-Cœur). Despite these couple of things I didn't like, I do not know if I'd want to change a thing. It was a vacay for the record books for me and my wife. We were just awestruck by the amazing city that is Paris.

The hotel is in the 6th Arr, close to the Seine and Notre Dame but pretty quiet. We were there in August so the Irish pub and restaurant at the end of the road were closed, which helped. We were able to walk to Museee d’Orsay, Eiffel Tower (quite a long walk) the Louvre. There were of shops, restaurants and the St Michel metro stop close by. This is a small, independent hotel and feels very French. When you come off the street, you are straight into the reception/breakfast area. Your key card opens the front door and the reception is staffed 24/7 so very safe. The rooms, which are large by Parisian standards, are beautifully decorated with fin de siele touches. The beds and pillows are comfortable and everything was clean and comfortable. There’s a fridge in each room and complimentary water.

Everything was good and as advertised, but would have liked a little more choice for breakfast options

the propert was beautiful, clean and in a fabulous location. this small hotel had only 10 rooms, but much more spacious than I've ever seen in Paris. we booked 2 rooms a superior and a double, I couldn't tell you which was which. One had a King bed and a large couch, the other 2 twin beds and a couch that conveyed to a twin bed, which they had made up for us upon arrival. We were on the first floor and had the whole floor to ourselves as they were the only 2 rooms. The staff was kind and generous and had perfect English. The hotel also felt very safe, the location was lovely, you had to use your key or get buzzed into the front and their was always someone at the desk in the small lobby/breakfast room. I would so highly recommend!!!

It was fabulous to have AC, but it doesn't get as cool as we would set it in the states, but no where in Europe does. (unless you are at an american hotel and who wants to do that in Europe)

Wonderful rooms, beautifully decorated, very large in size for Paris. We booked two adjoining rooms, making a suite for our family of four. It was perfect. Good breakfast. Convenient location in the 6th, steps to the Saint-Michele metro, the Sorbonne, the Latin Quarter, Shakespeare & Co, and shopping.

Street was slightly noisy at night. It's just in a busy neighborhood. But I really don't have anything bad to say. Would stay here again.

Fabulous location in a quiet street close to all the hustle and bustle and walking distance to many attractions. Reception staff very helpful. Small boutique hotel so it feels more personal.

No major negatives. Only minor complaint was we would have appreciated more than one bottle of mineral water for a two night stay!
