Hotel Residence Des Arts

I had stayed at a four star hotel around the corner - and need to stay in Paris an extra night - and changed to the Hotel Residence des Arts. I was so happy I did. I loved it - and it was way nicer and more comfortable than the 4 star hotel. Loved the location - and the super quiet room. Fantastic wifi. Super comfortable bed.

The location was great, close to so many restaurants and bakeries. The hotel is on a quiet street, There's a pub next door that has closed down, so not sure how loud it would have been when it was opened. The bathroom has been updated so it is nice and bright. The room and kitchen area could have been better. What made our stay great is the staff, especially Guillaume. They are professional but very friendly and approachable. We were scheduled to check out of our room after 4 nights to move to the sister hotel across the street. Even though we had chosen to do this due to lack of availability at the hotel, the staff said they would let us know if there was any last minute cancellation for our suite. Luckily there was and we didn't have to move. But even if we had to move, we were assured that they would move our packed luggage for us to the new room when it was ready so we wouldn't have to wait around. We usually don't need much from the hotel staff but we really appreciated great service when we get it.

The suite was very roomy, which made it easier to spread out our suitcases. We did not unpack since there was very little usable storage in the room. The armoire was placed in such a way that it was hard to access. The lighting in the room is not great. Even with all the lights on, it felt a little too dark. The junior suite we had on the first floor would benefit from a refresh. Only the bathroom appears to have been recently renovated.

I liked everything about this hotel, it was in a fantastic location, the staff was absolutely phenomenal, helpful in every way. There was always someone to assist us 24-7. We booked a suite with a connecting room and it was perfect. We had so much space with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living area. We were so comfortable here, and loved everything about it. I spent a year researching hotels and found that this was a ton of space for a Paris hotel. It was very clean and very Parisian with huge windows that opened. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Paris. I cannot comment about how great the staff was enough, from helping with our luggage in the rain to accommodating our every need. I would also recommend this hotel for families, the amount of space, if you get 2 interconnecting rooms, you have an entire little floor to yourself. Thank you to the hotel for making our 12 day in Paris so wonderful!!!

Great Hotel at a great price. The staff was honestly some of the nicest people, they were so friendly and welcoming when we first arrived.

Just a quick note to other travellers, the reception is across the street from the rooms - but this wasn't a problem at all.

The location is fantastic, just a one-minute walk (100 meters) to the Seine River. It's a delight to take daily strolls by the river and explore the charming old book stalls along the way – truly blissful! The proximity to the metro station is excellent, and you can easily walk to attractions like the Louvre, Pompidou Center, and Orsay Museum. We were a party of three, and the room was quite spacious.

The only aspect that could be improved is the breakfast – unfortunately, there were no hot dishes available.

Spacious, comfortable, super clean place. Stylish renovation. The bed and pillows were super comfy! Large bathroom with tub and nice shower. Nice toiletries and hair dryer. Walking distance to many attractions.Five minutes to Notre Dame and the Seine. 15 minutes to the Louvre. Heart of the vibrant St.Germain/St. Michel intersection. Very close to the Latin Quarter. Restaurants galore. Very helpful hotel managers. Thank you Guillaume, Amy!

Would have been good to have a table to eat at or keep personal items. There is one table with the coffee machine on it. But another one would have been appreciated. The elevator is very very small. Also would have appreciated some hair conditioner in the toiletries provided. The drain in the shower is very slow. Water puddles up.

location is exceptional - perfectly located in the Latin Quarter/St. Germain des Pres. Staff is very friendly/helpful. Beds are comfortable, rooms very quiet and decent water pressure.

Air conditioning didn’t work very well. We were in the “annex” across the street and the common areas didn’t smell great, the elevator was very small (for luggage and we only travel with carry on bags), and there were lots of stairs even with the elevator. I booked about a month out and prices seemed high for the rooms we got, which were their smallest rooms. Nonetheless, I would stay here again if the price was right.

The location was fantastic, convenient to everything and to the metro. The staff could not have been more welcoming or kind, the rooms were clean, the maid service was great, and the size of the suite was actually large compared to other hotel rooms in Paris. It was very comfortable and nice and I could not have found anything that suited us better. It is a small boutique hotel on a beautiful, quaint street. I spent a year looking at hundreds of hotels and am so happy I chose this one. Again I want to say the staff was amazing, we stayed in the hotel for 11 nights. I thought it was wonderful and I do not have any negative comments. I have read many reviews where people complain about the size of the lift, the lift was totally fine and we had no issues. This is a wonderful place to experience Paris.

the staff were wonderful and helped with everything, they even called us when we arrived back late on the first evening. at check-in we also received a voucher for welcome drink. the continental breakfast is served in the loby and was enough to start the morning on the right foot. the room was very clean, there is heating and AC that can be controlled. the hotel is across the river from the Louvre and other attractions and there are many coffee shops near by. will be happy to stay here again when we return to Paris
