Hotel Saint-Louis en L'Isle

Second time at this hotel this year. Thats how much we love this place!

Best location ever in Paris. Close to everything. The island is quiet and just lovely. Breakfast is the only think that is so so. Go around the corner al Le Flore en Isle for breakfast. Other than that it’s superb

Excellent location, very good quality/price ratio, the hotel is fully, beautifully renovated in a best Parisian style. Great interior design, good quality of furniture and lighting.

The staff can’t smile, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. This room was ever the smallest hotel room I stayed in my life but the designer made a maximum from it.

Lovely location, quiet at night but within walking distance of many major attractions. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, really nice room with balcony giving a view of the Seine. A small welcoming individual hotel.

The cups in the room weren’t always cleaned and the drink stirrers didn’t always get replaced, however that’s the only issues in 4 nights!

This lovely little hotel was ideally located, well appointed and graciously staffed. We throughly enjoyed every moment and very much appreciated the fabulous staff. We booked room 501, top floor via elevator (and then 1/2 flight of steps) top of the hotel with small balconies off bathroom and bedroom—absolutely charming!

Gorgeous boutique hotel, lovely breakfast and a great location - just 5 mins walk to Metro and Notre Dame. Tea making facilities, safe and soft drinks minibar all in room. Shower was fab. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The room was tiny, just enough room to shuffle around the bed, but this is Paris. It's very much a small designer, bijoux hotel overall. It's a bit like a hotel designed by a "Tiny House" designer. It has everything, and it's beautiful but just on a slightly smaller scale. This didn't bother us, and we'd stay here again. Access to rooms is by a small spiral staircase. There is a lift, but it serves between floors, so there are still some stairs to walk up. That may be an issue for someone with mobility issues, but it didn't bother us.

The hotel was lovely, we only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again when I return to Paris . The location was fabulous with a real French charm away from busy overt tourist places. Lots of places to eat and have coffee and near the metro where you can get to all of the places in the city. A perfect place to stroll and have an evening drink too Such a great hotel in a perfect location The hotel showers were very good and the hotel was peaceful on the evening

Nothing to dislike , the rooms were beautiful decorated, however ours was small but we only booked a standard room as we were there for one night,

Gorgeous small hotel in the heart of Paris, on the Saint Louis island. Lovely decor, exposed wood beams in the ceiling, big windows, modern bathrooms with nice old world details. Location is everything. The street the hotel is on has it all- boutiques, restaurants, cafes, the famous Berthillion ice cream, supermarkets and pharmacies. Walkable to the Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, Le Marais district, the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay. And of course to walk along the Seine. We were a family of three (8 year old child) in a superior double room and we were quite comfortable. The room is a decent size. we were fully prepared for small cramped rooms (like in Amsterdam) so this was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very helpful! Our son suddenly fell ill with a virus and was quite sick. They were very prompt with replacing sheets, finding us medical help, etc. I was a bit late to breakfast one day and they’d run out of croissants. The lady immediately went out out and got me some from the bakery! That was going above and beyond. It was good that we had booked with breakfast as we couldn’t really go out as a family to try all the different options close by. My husband and I could take turns to go down to eat and one of us could stay with our son. It’s not a hot breakfast but I enjoyed my boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses and breads. And cake of the day:-).

If I had to nitpick, the WiFi was sometimes a bit sketchy. Not all the time, just once in a while.

I picked this hotel because I really love this neighborhood. One of the safest area in Paris. You can go out to see the beautiful night view of neighborhood even late at night. The bed was really comfy. We had a good night sleep. And the decor of the room was very pretty, Parisian style with a nice shower facility. Also staffs were very kind and helpful.

For me, having an elevator is important point because I'm carrying a heavy luggage. They do have an elevator but it stops every half floor, so you have to carry your luggage for half floor anyway. And our room was really small. I knew very well that in this central area, it's hard to find a big room. But it was even smaller than I expected. But the room was pretty and cozy.

Location is everything and the location here is just amazing, cannot be more "central" than this. The room is larger than the average in Paris, which is to say it is still small but comfortable. Everything you need is at your disposal, staff is friendly and ready to help with suggestions / directions. The room was ready way before check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. A lot of restaurants and cafés nearby (dans Les Marais or even on the St Louis island). We walked almost everywhere from here, strolling along the Seine at night is magical.

At the reception there was a weird chemical smell, we thought it was the cleaning products, but it was all three days.
