Hotel Splendide Royal Paris - Relais & Châteaux

Splendide Royal absolutely exceeded all expectations. For a 5-star hotel in Paris centre, expectations were high. I booked this weekend for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and asked the Hotel for cooperation in preparing the warmest, most beautiful and unforgettable reception to them. It could not have been better. The suite was superb - Eiffel Tower view -, the bouquet of roses was absolutely beautiful and the Hotel was so kind in leaving some reception champagne together with fine pastries in the suite. Breakfast was also superb. The service was outstanding, in kindness, high standards, respect, dedication for the guests. Overall I wouldn't think twice in recommending Splendide Royal for a stay in Paris, especially and even more for special ocasions.

Breakfast was with limited choice particularly if one is vegan or vegetarian. Even for non vegan or vegetarian the breakfast choice was limited. Location of the hotel was central for our purpose.

Room was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was beautiful and comfortable to live in. It is a great location, within walking distance of every attraction. Next door is the presidential palace. On check-out day, the Olympic Games exercise was encountered, and the road closure caused taxi inconvenience. Although we changed the train time in the end, the hotel's front desk staff was very friendly and tried their best to solve the problem for us. I really appreciate them.

The staff was exceptionally warm. friendly, and helpful. We found ourselves needing to take care of some family needs while we where there and the staff could not possibly have been more helpful to us. I actually shed a tear when we left! The room was beautiful, clean, and elegant-it was everything I had hoped for in a Parisian room. The neighborhood street was quiet and safe and yet steps away from attractions. I would describe the hotel as having an understated yet rich elegance. We were very pleased with choosing this property.

Lovely little gem in Paris. Located in a quiet street, but good location. The suites are lovely and spacious, and the breakfast delivered to our suite was fabulous. Staff speaks very well English, and are very caring. Which feels very welcoming.

Can’t think of anything. Maybe stand-by tooth brushes would be nice and available in the room, or some smaller utilities to use. But those are just tiny details.

Arguably the best hotel that I have ever stayed in, and certainly the nicest hotel I have visited in Paris. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and thought that both the staff and the hotel was exceptional. For us, this hotel is more than we would usually spend, however, we really felt that we got our money's worth, and felt very welcome at the hotel. We would absolutely love to stay here again. The Location is excellent, the breakfast was lovely (it was included in the price and you can have it either in the restaurant or in your room at no extra cost, which is a nice touch) and the staff are always on hand to assist you in any way they can.

I thought the staff was super nice. Went above and beyond. The room was a great size and the bathroom also. Location is great. Bed was amazing.

The lobby. Thought it was not representative of a five star hotel - tiny. They really need to hire a porter for luggage - again, it’s considered five star property. The Wi-Fi was no good and neither was the TV and channel selection.

Centrally located to some museums, restaurants and upscale shopping. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was quiet which helped us have a good night sleep before exploring the city!

the hotel was perfect- small and very nice in all aspects. location was perfect, the junior suite was well planned and had everything we needed- very luxurious. staff was attentive and available.

Exceptionally good, individual service, from the beginning to the very end. Great location, very comfortable beds, great food at the restaurant (including a really good breakfast).

One of the blinder curtains was a bit ruptured, and it let in some light (plus was difficult to open/close properly). This was, however, the only minus of our stay :)
