I have to say that people complain a bit too much about everything. Very well located by metro close to republic station, 3 different bakeries close by where you can get a sandwich and coffee to go ... sandwich costs less than 5 eur and is always fresh and serves as a meal... 3 pharmacies also close by, and they speak very good English there and are super helpful. The receptionists and the the hotel owner are super nice and helpful.... the room is standard size for paris, bathroom was also good and clean. No coffee making facilities in the room, but there were 2 glasses in the room. Bed was comfortable slightly on the harder side and there is an extra pillow in the wardrobe. We got a room next to the elevator, might have been a bit more noisy than the rooms further in, but this was minimal and I did not find this too concerning as I slept like a baby. It is not as bad as other reviews make you believe. I did not opt for the breakfast at the hotel due to the fact that we were travelling in a group and I rather sleep an extra 30 minutes and grab something on the go, however people travelling in our group did say that for 10 eur breakfast provided was a good buffet. Luggage storage also available, and as pointed out in a review I came across, the luggage is stored in a room used by the stuff to rest.... the room was not always locked , however is it right next to reception and there was always someone there , so the room is still guarded. I have been to a 4 star hotel in Milan, and they stored our luggage in the corridor, so this is better.over all this hotel is very good value for money, people were welcoming and nice and hotel well connected ... would recommend any time and will stay here again

Lift is super small as in most old buildings around the world in the center of any capital city, there are limitations of what can be installed. However you can send your luggage up and down and do the stairs as they are easy to climb

The room was perfect for 3 nights in Paris. The location of this property is amazing. You will have a metro station (Line 5) 1 min away and many others within a 10 min walk. So many good restaurants around this location. The room was small, but that's all we needed for 3 nights. The bedroom was comfy, and the bathroom was good. The staff was great, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. The room can get hot since they don't have A/C, but during our stay, the night's temperature was around 16-18 C, so having the window open was good enough.

Little tiny hotel about a 15-20 minute walk with suitcases from La Gare du Nord- pretty much straight down the road. Even closer to Gare d'Est. Felt like a safe area despite riots just before we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was bigger than we expected and very clean and in good condition, the shower room too though the sink plug got stuck cos the lever didn't work, but a helpful staff member used a plunger and sucked it back up :D . Popular boulangerie around the corner (queues all day 8am-10pm), and plenty of places to eat within walking distance and food was generally good everywhere in Paris (unlike in Rome!) We walked everywhere practically, 30 minutes walk gets you to most tourist sites, only took the Metro a few times but lots of choice with several Metro stations nearby, so very well placed. There is a little wine bar called Foudre in the Rue du Château d'Eau with a nice ambience and ex-sommelier owner, really nice wines, and cheese to go with it. We were very happy with the hotel. Security was good too, front door locked when no one was at the desk.

Nothing awful. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment. Would have been nice to have a lounge for coffee and to chat with friends in. Lift was absolutely tiny but this is normal for small, old hotels in Paris! Run up the stairs and race your luggage in the lift, and don't bring too big bags. There are 5 floors so make sure you don't have a heart condition. No aircon, which could be a problem, but they lent us a fan so i was happy. Can be a bit noisy at night with the windows open, so bring ear plugs if you have difficulty sleeping with noise. No mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. I also brought a travel kettle, having read that there wasn't one. No fridge either but milk was fine in the room.

It does what it says on the tin! It's a little hotel in a great location, great value and perfect for a leisure break. I've read some minor moans about the lift and the breakfast, but our experience was excellent. Yes the lift is small - I've never seen one like it before, but it was a great quirky feature! It was big enough for one person with all the luggage, no problem! As for the breakfast - cereal, fruit, croissants and jam, ham and cheese, bread, baguette and excellent coffee. Just the job! One day it was running low, so the kind lady on reception went round the corner with her purse and bought fresh baguettes to top it up! Superb service 😀 The room was compact, but clean and comfortable and serviced every day. The hotel is a couple of stops on the metro from Gare du Nord (Jacques Bonsergent - 1 minute from the hotel) and a 5 minute walk from Place de la Republique. A great find....we will definitely stay again!

Overall experience is very positive. Despite, Hotel indeed is "Little" but has its own certain charm. Located just 100m near the Line 5 Metro station "Jacques Bonsergent". Basically: You take a Train from CDG Airport to Gare Nord, then - take Metri line 5 - 4 stations and You've arrived. Another Metro is "Republique" with line 8 (and others) available - about 500 m from the hotel up the Main Street nearby "Bd de Magenta". Staff very pleasant, polite, well English spoken and supportive - Great Job! Room is not large (but the hotel is called "Little"!) so no complains. Comfy beds, comfy pillows, bedding is white-clean. Clean bathroom. Perhaps, a bit small TV, but this is "not a 5 star hotel" - so "no complaints" on that :) Outside was hot up to +28. There is no A/C but there was FAN available, which helped a bit. If You have claustrophobia - don't take elevator - it is just for ONE person, but well working :) There are several Bistro and Restaurants available within just 5 mins walk around. I would come back here!

Judging, that this is a "2 stars" announces hotel - I don't have any complaints on some small "bits and blobs" I would've done "better".

Great location to walk to train stations. All other sights walkable. Quiet side street. Rooms were comfortable. Yes smaller than American standard but nice for European City location. Breakfast was reasonably priced European continental. Staff were very pleasant and accomodating. A big plus was the elevator. Much appreciated. Would recommend and will stay here again next time I'm in Paris.

There was nothing we didn't like.

This is a lovely little hotel near Republique. We had to urgently move to this hotel following a very unpleasant experience with another property nearby and the difference was just amazing. The hotel is clean, the wifi is decent, bathroom is a comfortable size, the reception staff are very polite and helpful. Highly recommended if you are looking for an affordable hotel in Paris.

Nothing noteworthy, especially taking into account value for money.

the room is not too big however the interior is very practical with necessary stuff the hotel location is just 100m from the metro

it is the summer but the room does not have fan/ air con in the evening, it will be a bit noisy from the street (its ok if you close all windows, but I opened since it was hot) the elevator is too small, luckily my room is in 2nd floor and I rather used the stair

This is excellent city hotel for trip to Paris. The most important thing is its great location which enables you to discover Paris easily. There is metro station in front of the hotel and by 30 min walking you can reach almost all of the major attractions. Hotel is small (as the name suggest) but I'am not sure what would you expect more from city hotel. Rooms are also small but they are equipped with all that is necessary for the pleasant stay - good wi-fi, cable TV, refurbished bathroom, safe deposit box etc. Pleasant stuff is ready to help you with everything. Value for money is definitely very good and I would return to this hotel next time when I visit Paris.

If you plan to stay in the room for longer period of day (and I don't know why would you do that if you came to discover Paris), you might find it too small, especially if you have a lot of suit-cases. For me personally it is not some disadvantage, considering trip purpose, but for somebody it might be. Also, breakfast could be little improved because it doesn't offer to much choice. I know there is not much space, but adding some ham or boiled eggs, would make a lot of difference without compromising to much space or some additional expenses.

The location. So close to the metro and many many boulangerie, restaurants and shops nearby. For those coming by train, Gare Du Nord is a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel was very convenient for the purpose of our trip. If you're not looking to spend time in your hotel room, and just for somewhere to sleep, this is perfect.

Lift is very limited in that it only fits 1-2 persons, but not an issue if you're fit and OK climbing stairs. So we used the stairs and sent our parents up in the lift. Not a suitable hotel if you have a wheelchair, and with buggy it may also be tight.
