Mercure Paris Place d'Italie

Clean room, good standard of decor. There was a work going on in the floor above but disruption kept to a minimum. Comfy bed and great shower room. Functional reception and we didn't have breakfast at the hotel so didn't see the breakfast room downstairs. It was a good location, but still a metro / bus ride to the major Paris sites. I can heartily recommend strolling towards butte aux cailles for places to eat (5 mins walk) - especially for the Crepes at Des Crêpes et des Cailles.

Saddened by the paper cups for cups of tea - surely it's more 'green' to reuse crockery?

Room was clean, shower was always hot and the beds very comfortable.

Straightening my hair was very awkward as there was no mirror by the desk. There was a mirror in the bathroom but no plug socket and mirrors on the doors of the wardrobe. However it is dangerous to have the boiling hot straighteners that close as if dropped they could burn you. I managed as i had a small mirror which i could use. Having a mirror and a plug somewhere where you could do your hair would have made the room perfect.

It’s near many facilities and shops. Clean toilet and room :) Has kettle and fridge.

The ceiling lights kept on and offing itself, the aircon wasn’t working well even though it was on and there was sound, making me and my family perspire throughout our sleep. A bit cramp once they place the sofa bed. Toilet is kinda small too

Location is nice! Very close to the metro station and 1 ride away to the major attractions. Also there's a good selection of restaurants nearby. The room had a kettle and nice selection of coffee and tea. Staff is helpful too. Definitely a good option to stay in Paris.

Room was a bit small, but still good value for money. We had issues trying to make the A/C work.

great location. convenient for metro and lots of restaurants powerful a/c was good in a heatwave room very comfortable though basic much better price than city centre

one or two missed spots in bathroom breakfast v check-out lift usage made getting out in the morning slower than I would have liked (breakfast room is on a lower floor from reception)

Excellent location, room was clean and spacious. Closer to metro, about 4min walk. Location was very convenient to get around to major attractions in Paris. Overall very pleasant stay.

Breakfast choices could be improved.

The bed was comfortable, linen was crisp and clean. The room had a fridge and a safe which was useful. It was also close to a couple of local cafes which were nice

The shower had a broken tap and did not drain when showering so the water would overflow onto the floor.

Well located, close to good public transportation. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Some convenient covered parking spaces available within 5mn walking distance.

Not much but the sofa bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast ok it not amazing for the price.

Clean, nice bathroom.

Old matrasses. My spouse had pain in his back after only 1 night. Only 1 elevator is not enough. Sometimes had to wait for 10 minutes.
