Best Western Hotel Le Montparnasse

Location to restaurants, staff were very helpful. Access to bus, subway was very convenient. The space on either side of the sink was convenient. The staff made sure we were taken care of.

The room was a bit small. I don't know if the shelf and chair are helpful. We used the chair to hold a suitcase because we had two. A narrower shelf to hold stuff as you walk in would work. We didn't have the €15 breakfast. I think we would've paid for boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, croissants a la carte. Instead, we shopped for breakfast items at a nearby grocer and ate in our room.

I am thoroughly impressed and delighted with my experience at Best Western Montparnasse. The fantastic location, captivating surroundings, and the hotel itself have truly won me over. However, what truly sets this place apart and makes it feel like a home away from home is the exceptional staff. Their warm and welcoming demeanor has made my stay all the more memorable. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the cozy and lovely rooms provide a comfortable retreat. The view of the interior courtyard adds to the overall charm of the accommodation. Additionally, the convenience of having the metro station just a two-minute walk away is a great advantage for exploring the city. Moreover, there is a delightful supermarket conveniently located just across the road, providing easy access to all necessary amenities. My overall experience at Best Western Montparnasse has exceeded my expectations and I am truly grateful for the enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable and unforgettable visit to the beautiful city of Paris.

No cons.

The location is just perfect for exploring the city by walking. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was small, yet very cozy and comfortable, and the view from the second floor window was very nice – a busy street. If you leave the window open it will be very loud, so take that into account, if you’re not a busy city lover like we are, but you can’t hear the street at all if the window is closed, which is awesome. And the bathroom was surprisingly spacious (especially the shower) for a small room. The AC did wonders too.

The elevator is quite small, but it’s totally forgivable taking into account how small the hotel is in general.

The staff here is AMAZING. They were kind and friendly. They held my luggage for me on check out so I could still explore until I left. They were available all hours of the day and night. My stay was perfect because of the staff. A lot of people complain about the room size. For two people this was fine, it was on the smaller side. But most hotels in Europe are.. its plenty of space for 2 adults and luggage.

On the website it is stated that they have toiletries and phone chargers for use if needed. Well I unfortunately needed both. They did have toothpaste. Its my fault for not bringing it, but it was stated that theyd have it. The charger, they ended up lending me a staff members which was so kind. This isnt on the hotel staff at all, its on the website 100%.

For some Americans the name 'Best Western' may conjure up images of motels on the interstate with pools and waffle bars. This is a very small place on a busy urban street - it would be easy to walk by and miss entirely. Our room was cramped but clean and quiet. The area is not super touristy, with LOTS of young Parisians out in the evening at nearby bars and restaurants. It is within easy walking distance to a train station (Gare Montparnasse) and several Metro lines. The morning staff, with whom we dealt the most, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The toilet is behind little non-locking double doors just feet from the bed - so you better love the one your with. Musty smell in the hallway.

I’ve been to Paris 5 times and this is my favorite area to stay (nearby Latin Quarter and St Germain district with lots of good cafes and local vibe). The hotel is a typical Parisian city hotel you can find for an affordable price. The room is tiny but very well equipped, although there was no hair dryer (likely I’ve packed mine). The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good.

The room was very dark with backyard view, even on a sunny day we have to switch on the lights and we could hear underground metro (we stayed on a first floor) the reception desk could have looked more professional :)

We loved this hotel, very well located in Paris. Nice restaurants and safe area. The beds are absolutely comfortable, we didn't want to wake up to go and explore Paris, haha. All girls at front desk are super kind.

The hotel has a very very slow elevator. They should change it to a modern one or faster to improve the circulation of people in-out the hotel. The bathroom at the basement is also very small and uncomfortable to get there, they should get a better accessible bath at the Lobby level, as travelling around Europe you arrive early at hotels and you need a quick bathroom to go out and explore. It was the only negative facts we found at the property. The hotel is nice and we loved the beds.

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to see all the major sights. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Throughly enjoyed our stay here, would recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

The room was a bit small, something to consider if you’re travelling with multiple pieces of luggage. But you can definitely work around that, this didn’t dampen our stay at all.

Perfect location to see the whole of Paris as it's not that far of a walk from pretty much all directions. Train station nearby to get you to and from the airport. Plenty of shops/restaurants/bars etc around the hotel. Morad was good at helping and suggesting places! Will defo stay again! Room provides a kettle and hairdryer, and two small towels. Also have a fridge in the room. They have a luggage room to leave bags/cases when you have to check out at 12pm.

No aircon in the room so it got VERY hot and the rooms are a little bit of a squeeze, but this isnt a big deal considering all you do is sleep and shower in the room then you are out exploring all day / eve.

Really lovely hotel, in a fantastic location and really nice area of paris. Got great connection links of bus and metro all within 1/2 min walk. Very good base hotel to go all around paris. The room was a little small, but it wasn't any problem as it was just the two of us. The breakfast is great as well, I would really recommend it as it sets you up well for the day. They give branded products like tropicana and bonne maman jam. Free hot drinks at all times available downstairs as well in the lobby area. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and understanding. Can't fault them.

You can feel the metro underneath the building but it didn't impact our quality of sleep at all. Just don't think about it too much and you don't notice it all.
