WIT Hotel

I felt that the staff was very kind and helpful. Communication was very good. My room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was very good. I felt safe and loved the neighborhood. I was able to get around easily to many places because of it's location.

I felt that as a traveller, it would have been good to have water, and other kinds of beverages downstairs in the lobby. It would have also been nice to get ice somewhere in the hotel. I had to keep my bathroom door closed in order to not have the smell from the septic above the toilet come out into the room. I suspect that because it's an older building, the plumbing or septic would be a major renovation to the hotel and not likely to get redone.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Very close to Metro Station route 7, we were able to use the metro on arrival from the train station and departure from Orly airport. Central it meant that 20 minutes walk (if you choose not to take the metro) takes you to most tourist attraction. Appreciate also that we were able to leave our luggage the day we left, as our plane was very late in the day.

I don't know if it's me but I am puzzled by hospitality staff that never smile. I haven't seen one member of this hotel smile...ever, during the 4 days of our stay. I was offered an upgrade to a bigger room for a small sum and I took it. I hate to think what the original room would have been like!

The room is small but has everything we need and has a very well-done layout. It seems that they just redecorate the room. The bathroom is very clean, hot water running very well. It even comes with a hair dryer -- which for us is important. They don't provide slippers so bring your own. When you are in the bathroom you can hear the neighbor's voices but not a big deal. We didn't get a nice view but we were always out anyway. They have a strict check-in time, but they have a place to store luggage and a place for you to freshen up downstairs. Many good restaurants with a wide variety of cuisine nearby -- comes from an Asian traveler this is also important for me. WiFi was also working well.

Location was perfect! :) Room is clean, a nice surprise of view to Sacré-Cœur and a big balcony. The room was cleaned daily, new sheets and towels were provided. Many restaurants around, metro station very close. Our flight back was in the evening, but the hotel allowed us to keep our suitcases till we leave.

Brilliant for location. The room was clean and large enough. Fab restaurants nearby. Lovely clean towel daily and room serviced to high standard.

Nowhere to hang wet coats (it rains in Paris too) no hooks on doors etc. Not one member of staff smiled the whole stay despite us smiling at them - rather uncomfortable feeling when you met with a stoney face or they won't look up when you give them your key. Noisy walls are very thin, not great if you're a light sleeper and can hear conversations from other rooms word for word.

Overall its a great hotel in the heart of Paris! our stay was really pleasant. near to everything - few restaurants just below the hotel (inclusive of thais, japanese, arabs and many more) and groceries store is just few steps away. very near to 2 metroa (cadet and grand boulevards) also very near to Hard Rock Cafe! I am very happy with the reception guys, very friendly and helpful. we booked family room so it was comfortable for the 3 of us - of course the space is limited bcs the sofa is converted to bed. if it stays as sofa, room is big enough! small fridge is provided in the room, but iron is for sharing at the ground floor. overall, pleasant Paris stay!

not much - but it will be perfect if a microwave is provided in the room bcs theres a small fridge to store food. we can buy readymeals from groceries store nearby and reheat ourselves in the room.

Great location & area. The idea behind the interior design is very recognisable, aesthetic choices with limited budget (older built-in furniture is nicely integrated in the new concept, white metal bathroom sink resembles the ones in old kitchens, workshops and garden houses but works with the rest of the style)…

Mattresses had a kind of plastic rubbery surface which is not only uncomfortable to sleep on but also causes the linen to slip. The bathroom is lacking shelf space, you only get a tiny half-A4 sized plasticky board which visibly can’t carry anything heavier than a toothbrush and -paste. Still all minor things!

The location was exceptional! Close to everything: metro, bus stops, you can even reach the landmarks by walking. I didn't expect the location to be so centric and nice: many restaurants/cafes, shops are at 2-3 min walking. I also liked the shower gel, it was of a good quality :)

However, the location being so centric has some disadvantages: it was quite loud in the night, but that wasn't that bad, honestly. Also, sound isolation in bathroom wasn't that great, it was possible to hear other guests conversations being in a different room.

We had a great experience at this hotel, the room size was bigger than expected and so was the bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is excellent just 2 blocks away from a nightlife area with pubs, restaurants, etc but still quiet enough so that you can have a good sleep, also a 5 min walk from the Grand Boulevards metro station which makes it super easy to move around Paris.

It's a little unusual that you have to leave the key at the front desk every time you go out and then ask for it when you get back, not a big deal but I would change that.

-The room was wonderful, and we had fresh towels and new soaps every day -The location was great, close to many bars and restaurants but there was no noise due to the double windows (we suppose) - There was always someone in the reception to help

- We would like for the Wi-Fi to be a little faster. Generally it was working just fine, but sometimes, when probably a lot of people were using it, it was getting kind of slow
