citizenM Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

The modern rooms and amenities were very nice. Small but effective use of space makes the room feel bigger. Lots of charging ports. Mood lighting in shower is really cool.

The walk to CDG terminal 2 was a lot longer than I anticipated. Took us 30 minutes walking and using airport trains to just get to Air France check-in area. The walk to RER station was long and the RER train makes too many stops, so there's no quick trip into Paris city center.

Despite being a short walk from CDG Terminal 3 and the downstairs being a fun, lively space, the room was impressively quiet. The check in and out were both super fast with warm and friendly helpful representatives. The coffee bar with the breakfast was excellent. The bed and shower were great and it was very easy to get to the train for CDG Terminal 2 and Central Paris. For the price, this will be our go-to hotel for frequent overnight layovers at CDG.

It wasn’t an issue for us, but for people who have lots of heavy luggage or challenges with stairs, in order to get to the pathway to the airport directly, it’s necessary to take some stone stairs (with a slanted luggage pull path next to them).

Homy common areas. Not much service but thats expected in France. So at least this place gives you the opportunity to help yourself to the check in and food. :) Friendly staff thought.

Citizen M is great for that last night before you fly out from Charles de Gaulle airport. It is only five minutes walk from the terminal three train station with the RER line for Paris and the free inter-terminal CDGVAL shuttle. We actually stayed three nights and found the bus lines that connect to Paris and surrounding areas very useful. We visited the Air and Space Museum at Bourget one day and, on another, visited Viarmes, Luzarches and the Abbey of Royaumont in the Oise-Pays regional park. Next time we plan to stay here and visit Chantilly Chateau and, one day, we might go to Asterix World. We had one of the smaller rooms where the king-size bed fills all the space by the window. It felt snug and cosy and was very comfortable. An app on the iPad in the room controls the blinds, including the very effective blackout blind, and the lights. The curved shower compartment can be lit in a number of hues which was fun. There was a small fridge that was very useful. Citizen M provides extensive sitting areas both inside and outside the building. We enjoyed the eclectic decoration and the variety of seating and spent our evenings there. It was a nice place to unwind. We had their curry and nachos one night and enjoyed them but we were also able to eat food from the Marks and Spencer Food place at Terminal 3. While there is a lot of automation (self-checkin, online menus, the room iPad, no cash/card only policy) there were always staff available to assist and we found them very helpful.

Great location, short walk from shuttle between terminals so accessible from anywhere in CDG airport. Friendly staff, good value.

Breakfast cost is a bit steep but M&S food shop close by and does good croissants and coffee.

This hotel is great if you have to fly early from Charles de Gaulle! We wanted to avoid having to wake up super early from Paris city centre, so we decide to spend the day there and head here for the evening to get some rest. The check-in was incredibly easy and we also had the option to choose the view from our room. Everything was incredibly intuitive and the shower was great! The staff was helpful and we could get some food even late at night. Then in the morning we took literally 10 min to get to T2 with the free shuttle, so we could get a bit of extra sleep :)

A couple of pillows more (given the size of the bed) would have been amazing, but everything else was perfect.

citizenM CDG has a very fun and active vibe. The self-service iPad check-in, checkout, and smart room features were really impressive. The staff were super-helpful and friendly, and the hotel resto/bar was really great, nice menu selections for food and drinks. I would definitely stay at a citizenM again!

It's hard to think of anything, but I had a little trouble with the checkin passport scanner. It was to the left of the checkin tablet, and it looked like the scanner on the right was the one to use, so I needed some guidance. It might be good to have clearer signage as to which passport scanner matches with which computer.

Very convenient and stylish upgrade on the sort of pod hotels that appear around many airports these days. Very comfortable gigantic bed, friendly staff, cool common areas, very decent food. Basically, everything you need from an airport hotel.

There is a claim by the hotel that it is luxury. It definitely isn’t. I can’t describe anything as luxury when you order your food at the bar and then come and pick it up yourself with a tray. Aside from that, it’s funky, modern, and cool. Given it’s at an airport, there are definitely weird noises that kept me up one night, but c’est la vie.

Very conveniently located (you do need to walk a few hundred meters from the terminal building). We'll signposted from all the terminals. Helpful staff on hand to guide you through the automated checkin/out process. The room was different to what I have been used to in that it was small but with well designed use of the space. I was a single traveller so the bed being enclosed on 3 sides didn't bother me , however for couples it means someone would have to climb over the other for a nocturnal loo visit (showing my age !). The bathroom was a compartment made of heavily frosted glass but still you would be able to see someone in there so you had better be used to your companions habbits" and be comfortable with being able to see their silhouette doing their ablusions. Having the room controlled from a tablet was a fancy gimmick but several of the TV programmes listed didn't work. Breakfast was pleasant , standard French fare. I heard an American moaning because there was no American food - hey if that's what you want go to Florida for your holiday bozo ! I would go back (for a stop over) and would reccomend to family and friends (but maybe not couples in the early stages of a relationship as you get to see all the nasty bits !) 🤣🤣

I like to have tea/coffee making facilities in a hotel and this was lacking. The bathroom door sounded like it was going to fall off its hinges each time it was opened.ot closed.

CitizenM always follows the same format so you know what to expect. The beds are comfortable. Lighting very nice - everything in the room is controlled by i-pad. Cool decoration and a nice atmosphere in public areas. Self check-in and out easy.

The CDG hotel was a bit disappointing compared to other CitizenM hotels. Check-in was marred by a member of staff who came to help us (tho we didn't need it) and repeatedly coughed onto his hands then handled the keyboard and our room keys. There were a couple of hairs in the bed! The food was only average and you have to collect your own meal - no waiter service.
