Novotel Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Very convenient for our last night before flying back out to Australia

Couldn't turn on air con in the room as it was winter despite it being very hot, had to ask reception for a handle for the window to open instead.

The room was spacious and very comfortable and it was convenient for me to have the restaurant downstairs where I could eat late. And breakfast was excellent.

It took way too long to check in. There was a very long queue and only 2 people managing. This was frustrating after 3 flights that day and once I arrived at the CDG Airport no-one being able to correctly direct me to the hotel

The location was very easy and accessible to the airport terminals.

My check-in experience could have been better. The front lady couldn’t find my reservation, initially. Instead of asking me to repeat my name or spell it out for her, after showing her my phone she accused me of giving her the wrong name, because apparently I’m unaware of my first name. She could have been accountable for her own fault or stated that she didn’t understand me well.

It was right on the terminal 3. Breakfast was good.

The room was cold even when the heater was on and on a high level. Wc was separated from the shower room.

The location is great. Our flight arrived CDG Terminal 2. Shuttle train to Terminal 3. Entrance is within the terminal. Perfect if necessary to transit overnight between flights or train. We had 30 hours plus journey, and decided to overnight before catching train to Lyon the next day. Marks & Spencer food market opposite hotel entrance great for snacks, sandwiches, fruit or drinks for train journey and before. Restaurant made a great burger. Superior king room good size. Effort has been made to refresh room with new furniture and wood type panel behind tv. Interesting revolving documentary on tv on China’s scenic tourist attractions. Easy bus shuttle to modern Aeroville Mall. We had to replace faulty bag.. The best thing is the location.

Lovely convenient hotel with excellent breakfast

Due to new french laws the air-conditioning in the room is not allowed on, but as its an airport hotel the windows aren't allowed to be opened either which made the room very hot and stuffy with a family of 4.

The room I got had a non working shower. For the price of the room it was upsetting.. maintenance person, Isham, was dispatched and he fixed it quickly and graciously. Isham really deserves kudos. Efficient, gracious. And I do hope management reads this so he gets deserved appreciation. Room was very comfortable and well designed.

Non working shower when I got to the room Room was just way too hot. And being told to just turn the thermostat off by reception was not an acceptable answer. Again if not for Isham, my stay would not have been comfortable temperature wise.

Breakfast and location excellent

That had no English language TY channel. Most channel were I French, Arabic and Korean. That is bad for an international Hotel. I complained but was told that are working on it. They never got back to us with an answer therefore the lied. A straight answer and acceptable one would have been Novotel does not subscribe to an English TV Channel.however they have a good business and therefore they ignore some customer. As you may have noted I made a booking at the Ibiz cdg which has also a good location and the rest I will und out.

Conveniently located at airport and easy to get to terminal. Hotel was very modern and clean in the communal areas. Nice bedrooms with spacious beds. Modern bathroom facilities with Ritual cosmetics which were a nice touch. Hotel put on a nice Easter egg hunt for the kids and had a bunny giving out chocolate on Easter Monday. The buffet breakfast was nice with lots of options. Easy to travel into centre of Paris

We booked this hotel as had a late flight out of CDG. We had planned to go into Paris however decided to have a lazy day - however the hotel bar was not open all day, so although it was comfortable we had to go into the M&S in the terminal to get drinks and snacks. Hotel had fridge with limited options but disappointed and surprised the bar was not operational. The restaurant on an evening although nice had quite limited options also

When I arrived I informed the staff that I was sent an email guaranteeing an early check in. That didn't happen and I had to pay extra for the check in then I was given the disabled room. I was extremely unimpressed so I went back to reception to complain. Then having been told there weren't any rooms, all of a sudden they found me a room. It was an upgrade and a great room.
