Courtyard by Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle Central Airport

Convenient modern stay within walking distance of CDG- updated and well appointed with lots of amenities. Beautiful bathroom and the hotel allowed for early and convenient check in.

The room was quite hot and unfortunately the fire alarm went off in the middle of night- which apparently happens quite often since the hotel is a new build.

The staff were exceptional. They placed me in my room two hours early and couldn’t have been more helpful. I had a lovely late lunch. The room was spacious and so comfortable. And quiet as I requested. The location is great (when you have an early flight out the following day), a short walking distance to the free airport shuttle. An excellent value. All the staff couldn’t have been warmer or more helpful. I will make a point of staying here again.

soundproofing from the airport was excellent. window coverings were also heavy and blocked out any light from night lights as well as sun light (I like to sleep in a dark room). Really appreciated hotel's extra contact email describing how to make way from airport terminal to hotel. Another bonus, being near the airport made it easy to get from and to the airport with luggage and not having to rush between hotel & airport (if staying closer to CBD) while navigating public transport and pickpockets.

I can't say there was anything I didn't like about the stay here. Really catered and served its purpose for my stay.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was delicious! The room was comfortable and clean. I appreciated the easy access to airport terminals and trains to Paris.

I wish there had been a bar of hand soap by the sink for washing hands. There was only hand lotion. I ended up using the body wash from the shower. Most hotels offer one or two bottles of water gratuit. I would have appreciated that. But these are small quibbles for what was a comfortable and excellent stay at the Courtyard Marriott.

This location is in close proximity to the airport. Staff was very friendly and professional. Check-in process was quick. Very nice, clean, property.

We were awakened at 0530 am on the morning of our chekout to the startling sound of the smoke alarm going off. I called the reception desk to inquire about what was going on and if we needed to evacuate, there was no answer. My husband and family quickly grabbed our things and exited the building as most of the other patrons. No receptionist at the front desk to notify us of what was going on anad kitchen staff carried on setting up for breakfast as if nothing was going on. I think this could have been handled differently and definitley helped to ease the fears and anxieties of those entrusting our care and safety to this location/organization.

the rooms were a good size and facilities were modern. the Restaurant had very nice food.

1. We went to the other Courtyard by Marriott property as we didn’t realise there were two near the airport. I think she should make people aware of this. someone kindly took us to the correct one. 2. we were told we didn’t need reservations at the restaurant and managed to get a table but many people were waiting a long time so maybe reservations do need to be made 3. I didn’t like having paper cups for our cup of tea in the room as they are one use and meant we couldn’t have a cup of tea in the morning. a minor point but worth mentioning.

Breakfast was amazing. The bed was super comfortable.

There was a glitch on arrival. I had booked two twin rooms (next to each other was only a preference and by no means a requirement. Mariott had in fact advised by email it could not guarantee that preference, and it was all fine by me). On arrival I was told the rooms were not ready and to come back at 3pm. At 3 pm I was told they did not have any twins available. I stressed the facts the rooms had been booked months ago, how could that be. At my insistence, the staff eventually found two twin rooms.

I arrived at the hotel at about 9:15am and was not expecting to be able to check in as it was still too early but luckily, Ms Anastasya from Reception said there is already a room available. This was quite a relief as it allowed us to freshen up first after enduring 12hours of flight time from SIN to CDG. The room is equipped with a Smart TV about 60" which is capable of screen mirroring with your phone so you can watch videos using the TV. Charging your digital devices was also so convenient because the electrical outlets come with USB sockets so you do not need to have an adaptor to be able to charge. On our last day, we had to leave by 7:15am and the check-out process was a breeze. They asked if I prefer to receive the invoice via email which I said ok and within 5 minutes, I have received it already. Distance wise, its location is the 1st stop of the CDGVAL if you are coming from T3 so it was just a short ride. However, the walk from the station to the hotel is about 5-7 mins as it is located at the farther end of the road just across Innside by Melia. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay at Courtyard by Marriott at CDG.

Breakfast was ok but I find the bacon too salty.

The location was fantastic for a quick overnight stay, prior to catching our flight home the following morning. There is a shuttle train which is a short (less than five minute) walk from the hotel and takes you from one terminal to another.

When I got up to go to the washroom in the middle of the night, the light for the washroom turns on the lights above the bed, so my husband woke up too. We had to return to the front desk three times, as the room was not activated and did not allow us to proceed from the lobby to our room.

Good size rooms. Comfortable. New. Clean Easily accessible by airport train + walking. Efficient and polite staff.

The environment -- a depressing souless lifeless airport hotels zone The building -- a depressing souless lifeless sleep factory The room decoration - a depressing souless ... The hard-to-control AC. The dryness of the air in the room. The impossibility to open a window. The poor sonic insulation within the building. Pray that your neighbors, on the sides and above, are very quiet.
