A l'Hôtel Des Roys

The check in and out was straight forward and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was provided at extra cost and was continental style which was fine. There was a good selection and the lady in charge would cook you eggs as well if you asked. The room was adequate and there were plenty of power sockets to plug in phone chargers etc. The shower in the bathroom was very good with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The hotel does not have private parking but there is an abundance of public parking right outside at a cost of 14 Euro's for 24hrs. You can see the Palace of Versailles from the Hotel I would estimate it was about an 800 metre walk. The train station was a short walk to take you into the heart of Paris to explore the other sites in the city.

The room didn't have had a kettle but there was free coffee in the lobby all day and night.

The property was very small and cute. The bed was comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly!

It was quite hot in the room despite it being really cold outside. We had to keep cracking the window but unfortunately it rained during most of our my stay so it made the room feel a bit moist. The wifi was also unreliable and frequently stopped working and we would have to connect to another one of the hotels networks. There was also a strange sewage smell some days. The elevator was also quite small which it made it difficult for my sister and I to squeeze ourselves and our luggage into.

Clean and very well located hotel: close to Versailles Chateau and to the railway station

The hotel does not have AC, not even a fan in the room. It was very hot in the room. The people at the front desk do not know exactly what services the hotel provides. It took them 24 hours to find out they don’t sell tickets to Versailles castle anymore… But they still have this facility in their list and we missed the visit to the castle due to their lack of knowledge.

The room was a single room and it was small but it was very clean and had a small but very clean bathroom. The bed was a generous single. It had everything that was required. There was a courtyard to sit outside your room if wanted. The staff were excellent. Ideal for visiting Versailles Palace.

It was excellent for the price. The room was small but we only paid for two singles so we expected small rooms.

Great location with easy access to train (300m walk) and sights and shops in Versailles. Coffee machine available in foyer. Rooms well appointed and clean. No air conditioning but the fan was great for the hot weather. Secure bike parking is available for a small extra fee.

Air conditioning would have been good for the very hot weather.

Location is walking distance to the palace and has ample of cheap parking options in front. Basic honesty bar, good Breakfast. We got a 3rd bed for our child and all was handled correctly.

Rooms very small as in Paris and somewhat stuffy and sticky. Would say an average 3 star hotel with nothing special but is excellently located for the Palais. It does well for a short stay and was price competitive for what it offers. Well maintained and cared for but somehow lacks a real whaaw factor.

Room was ok . The location is near all the attractions and railway station. The breakfast was very good. Coffee and snacks at reception was fantastic when returning late at night.

The fan in bath room makes lots of noise. No mini bar in room, a bigger cupboard would be helpful. please add some other language stations on the TV.

Great location a short walk away from Versailles Palace and the adjacent conference centre. Lovely reception area with drinks/snacks available 24hrs a day. Rooms a good size and v pretty courtyard.

Rooms a little tired in places (but still v clean), and quite hot - no aircon but there was an electric fan in the room which did offer some relief from the heat and humidity.

Excellent location near the Palace of Versailles. Near both Chantiers and Rive Gauche stations. Reception staff on arrival kind , warm and welcoming. Ann excellent breakfast very well served and presented. Small outside space to sit. A selection of drinks available from small bar. Also provide some dinner items if you would like

It was a lovely stay. Enjoyed

The location to the castle. The coffee maker in the room. The ice cube machine in the lobby It's by foot not far from the train station and not far from the city restaurants. The stuff was extremely friendly especially one older man at the reception.

No little fridge in the room. Small room.
