The Zillers Boutique Hotel

This is a hotel full of charm, well located with lovely views and in walking distance to all main attractions. The room is on the small size but provides everything you need and the bed was very comfortable and linen of quality. We had a cute little balcony overlooking the street with a view of the acropolis. The rooftop terrace also with a view of the acropolis provides the perfect start to the day with a generous and delicious breakfast or sunset cocktails. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. For our last night in Athens we booked the Michelin Star restaurant located on the rooftop of Zillers which was exceptional and a great way of end our stay.

The view from the room was perfect, facing the Acropolis and the temple square. Only ask for a room facing outside, because there are rooms facing inside with nothing! the restaurant at the roof top is excellent with exceptional food and service.

Entering the Hotel, There was no entrance with reception, only some stairs coming up to the front desk! and then the elevator going up to the rooms ! can not sit or do anything in the entrance. The room was too-too small indeed. no space at all. coming out of the shower only 1 meter from the bed. two persons moving around ....could not be possible :(

location perfect for sightseeing. Acropolis just a 13 minute walk. Restaurant was delicious for dinner and the breakfast included in the room rate was lovely. Both were wonderful on the rooftop restaurant with a fabulous view of the Parthenon.

Unfortunately, we booked a room where the window looked over the atrium which we thought would be okay and have fresh air, but it opened onto what looked like the fire stair which would have been okay had there been fresh air, but each stair had solid glass on the floor preventing any fresh air. Next time we will book the suite with the balcony!

It’s perfectly located in Plaka-central to All things Athens. The room is lovely. We stayed in the Junior Suite Acropolis view. The food was excellent from the rooftop restaurant but there are a ton of street cafes with excellent choices. There’s espresso in the room. It was very hot in Athens and our room was refreshing each afternoon. The staff was exceedingly accommodating to all our needs.

The stairs are tricky and are a potential disaster if you don’t pay close attention

The staff at The Zillers are the very best people in Athens - Nadia,Panos at the desk - every single person! They could not do enough for us from helping with directions, tours, early breakfasts and so much more. Simply delightful. The location is A+ near the Plaka shopping area and that view of the Parthenon from our room and from the rooftop restaurant is just breathtaking. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant, very nicely presented with lots of variety. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the housekeeping staff are excellent. We would 110% stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel, ideally located in the heart of the city and yet away from the hustle and bustle of Athens night life. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the train station and next to Plaka and is surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The views from the rooftop bar are stunning. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

We booked the last room available at very short notice. Was rather small and dark as it was facing the interior stairs of the property. Lights were very dim in the room. Would have preferred a few more amenities in the bathroom.

The Acropolis view from the balcony gives The Zillers its appeal, piste de resistance! Also, overlooking the quaint, pretty, historic Syntagma Square sets you at the heart of the City! a great resting place to start exploring from. The tall ceilings made the room feel airy and larger than it actually was. We ate on the rooftop in the evening - food and views wonderful…. however if you are feeling tired (like we were) the sharing meals can drag on - it’s more for an occasion!! not a first night with an early start… but an unforgettable experience! lovely staff too!

This hotel was beautiful. An old building in pristine condition, and all the warmth that modern buildings don't seem to have. High ceilings and antique molding. We had a small porch that you could stand on to see the views of the church across the street and the Acropolis in the distance, but very much a perfect view. I could still see the Acropolis from lying in bed. We were also steps away from the most popular shopping areas in Athens. It was a good size room and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at the Zillers Rooftop and it was amazing. We had breakfast included and also enjoyed this lovely meal on the rooftop. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed, they helped to arrange including our Covid tests and taxi to the airport.

Perfect location!!! Center of all sites! We stayed here twice, canceling this date at another hotel in order to round out our trip to return here! The staff welcomed us back with hugs! The view from our 2-door balcony of the Parthenon was spectacular! The hotel faces an open square, adjacent to the Cathedral of Athens. The people watching was terrific and felt very open, with no buildings straight across. Staff was comfortable and staff attentive and friendly! Once again…LOCATION!

The Zillers is a wonderful charming hotel in a fantastic location in the Plaka. The view of the Acropolis was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. There was a lovely rooftop restaurant that we throughly enjoyed that served excellent food. The staff was terrific and extremely friendly. Extremely pleased with our stay at the Zillers.
