We have stayed at Villa Brown Ermou on 2 occasions, different room types. The location is perfect, close to major attractions, shopping area, restaurants and a short walk from the metro. The staff is beyond welcoming and attentive to every need. They have a very nice way of greeting you. We received on both occasions the exact room we have reserved (booking) and they look just like the photos. Also had a late check-in without any problems. Also were super satisfied with the breakfast (a selection of cheese, fruits, yogurt and you have omelets to choose from) that was impossible to finish. This is not a chain hotel but more of a boutique one, so those expecting rooms to run around or all you can eat buffet, this is not the place for you. For those searching for a quiet, accessible, stylish place to stay while in Athens, THIS IS THE PLACE!

The hotel is down a side street off a side street so we did miss it a couple of times, but it is near all the areas one street from the main shopping street, 2 minute walk from Plaka, breakfast was lovely, and staff were so nice, and surrounded by bars and restaurants.

I was in room 101 and I could hear the singing from the bar next door until midnight on the Thursday, you were given ear plugs with all the lovely bits in the room, I din't use them though as i had to be up early for a boat trip and didn't want to miss the alarm.

We enjoyed the personal care your staff gave to us. When we returned from our day they would welcome us back and we would have a cappuccino before going up to our room to get ready for dinner. Your staff was exceptional!!! The room was also amazing and you have very comfortable beds. I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Athens. We also had breakfast each morning at your hotel and it was very nice to get our day started there before doing tours. The food was wonderful. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant experience.

We do not have anything negative to say about your hotel. It met all our needs.

location is in the city centre where you can have access to many nice restaurants and cafes. bathroom in the room was quite nice and spacious. the bed was very comfortable. although the hotel is in the city centre you don't hear much noise when you close the window.

when I was trying to enter the hotel in the night time, someone was asking to see my room key. he was a nice guy but the situation is quite awkward. I think they need to install a system for the front door so you can pass through the main door as well with your room key.

The villa Brown Ernie is a great boutique hotel. When you enter the staff are friendly and helpful to give you any recommendations. The smell in the hotel was so unforgettable and unique. My room was great , the bathroom as well. The mini fridge provides anything you need . As a solo traveller I enjoyed every bit of it ! I would definitely try other hotels of their chain as my experience was the best so far! The hotel is located in the heart of Athens and so many shops and restaurants around .

the room is nicely decorated, very clean. Location is fantastic, in the center, yet relatively quite. The staff are very very helpful and welcoming. The bed is extra large and very comfortable.

we took the larger rooms, but they are tight fit due to the decoration and the large bed. A/C mode is shared between rooms, so if switched to heat, you can not cool - a big issue if the outside temperature fluctuates. opening the window on the first floor was impossible due to smell from the restaurants on the street. we had to exchange room to upper floor. the first room we got had an unusual structure, no window on the main section where the bed is, only on the small corridor to the bathroom, so although with the right overall area, it definitely does not fit the price tag we paid. breakfast is nice but served at the table in kind of slow motion. we asked for extra bread and got it 30 min later. it was baked for us as they prepare everything in advance without any extras…

This is a boutique hotel, located in the heard of Athens, walking distance to all attractions, restaurants and shopping centers. the hotel staff, including its manager, Mr. Harris, the reception managers, Miss Georgia and Mr. Kostas, did everything to satisfy all requests. During our stay was a general electricity problem and the elevator didn't work for two days. The hotel manager informed us that as an act of goodwill , he credited us with the cost of a night and allowed us to check out at 5:00 pm.

Small boutique hotel, amazing staff especially Maria at the front desk. Small rooms but almost every amenity in them including safe, nespresso machine, robes, radio, aircon, ample cupboard space, large bed, large tv. Excellent place to stay if you don't want the hustle and bustle of a big hotel.

Breakfasts average at best. Very little choice, hotel is understaffed. Charging extra for coffee and water in the rooms (we all know nothing is free in a hotel but seriously when you're spending that kind of money charging €2 per coffee pod and charging for the water is idiotic - Add €10 to the price per night if you're short of cash), the shower door creaked like a haunted house, the basin had a massive crack all the way across that was patched from the bottom (this is not acceptable when you're paying this kind of money) the main lights died towards the end of the stay, the receptacle for soap in the shower was sitting loose on the basin as it had come unstuck with a previous guess Seems the brown group likes to skimp on maintenance which is a pity.

Design was beautiful and the room was spacious for a city hotel. We were initially given a tiny room but the staff were accommodating and gave us a bigger room given we were traveling with big luggage.

The first room was too small to be deluxe room, especially since on the website it mentioned a bigger size but reality is different. We were eventually given the same category minus the balcony which made a huge difference in size, basically the size we intended to book.
