Perfect location with easy walking to the Acropolis, Syntagma and Monastiraki Squares, all the gelato places you could ever desire, etc. Wonderful rooftop restaurant with clear view of the Acropolis, and our bedroom also had a great Acropolis view. The hotel staff helped us arrange transfers from and to the airport, and could direct us to any kind of store or ATM we needed, with special tips for visiting the historic sites. Lovely cool AC in the room!

It would be nice if the upstairs connected restaurant provided the included breakfast rather than having to go to an external location. This was a barrier that kept us from getting the breakfast we had paid for in the booking. Also, the driver the hotel booked for airport transfer was about 30 minutes late, and we almost missed our flight. Definitely recommend booking an hour earlier than what hotel staff and airport website recommends because traffic is crazy in city center. And finally, the cost of hotel was too steep in light of no onsite restaurant for the included breakfast, no place to hang out except your room (hallways very cramped and there is no hotel lobby, just a closet-sized check-in desk).

I liked that this property was in a bustling location in the centre of Athens. It was close to all attractions of the ancient ruins alongside the modern day Athens.

There is nothing I didn’t like, I can’t complain about the noise as it is to be expected in the main shopping street in Athens. But also the shops restock after closing which is 10-11pm and the street is cleaned by a generator jet wash at 2am.

Clean nice room, friendly staff, central location.

Very good central location. Even thought there is no noise coming from the central street Ermou, the churches' bell kept on banging. Same applies for Ermou shops' alarm which kept on ringing for several minutes 2-3 times at night! Very nice and clean room, very friendly staff, good location, but Due to the aforementioned this hotel will not be my first option next time!

The Utopia staff were wonderfully helpful and kind during my entire stay. The rooms were furnished in a chic modern style and very comfortable. The location however was amazing! Easily walkable to almost all the tourist sites with lots of opportunities for dining and drinks nearby. The rooftop bar and restaurants view of the Acropolis was my favorite part, eating my breakfast and staring at the ancient temple made my whole vacation!

the clean, fresh decor; immaculate cleanliness; opportunity to prepare coffee or tea; the calm in a very active, alive area; the friendly staff; the restaurant (even though not part of the hotel) with spectacular views over the Acropolis and roof tops. Although unusual, off-property, we enjoyed the short walk to breakfast.

The decor so streamlined that it made it difficult to deal with one's baggage; the black countertop in the pristine bathroom which did not look neat because it showed every little "blemish".

We stayed at Utopia with our 5 month old and I couldn't speak more highly of the service we received at the hotel. I messaged in advance and asked for a taxi to be booked to the hotel with a baby seat which was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport, they also arranged this on our return as well which was so helpful. There was a cot already set up in our room when we arrived and the room was always kept clean. The breakfast was also nice too and the view was brilliant. The reception staff also helped us book a tour during our stay which was really good. Great location - near loads of shops, restaurants and bars.

A little noise on the street on the Saturday night but nothing the hotel could do about that.

I am quite fussy usually but this hotel really lived up to its expectations. Helpful lovely staff. Wonderfully airy room with a view over the acropolis. The bed is really comfortable and the tool stays cool. You can’t find a better location for all the sightseeing, we walked to them all from 7-20 minutes, ideal! Breakfast is served in a little cafe 3 minutes away and it’s really nice to do that morning walk over and watch Athens wake up. They have a lovely roof top bar with stunning views and lovely cocktails.

I stayed 3 nights and I can’t fault it.

The location is perfect, in a walking distance to all the attractions, shops & restaurants. The reception staff: Anna, Katerina and Arman are the most kind, warm and welcoming staff I’ve ever seen. The staff at the breakfast room were also very nice and breakfast is decent. The rooms and the bathrooms are modern and quite spacious and most importantly quiet despite the busy location.

The hotel has a lot of potential given it’s location. However, some issues need to be fixed: the rooms are very dark especially at night, even with all the lights turned on. The hotel needs to pay attention to the maintenance of the rooms; in one of the rooms we’ve booked the minibar and one of the lamps was not working, the hotel’s caretaker fixed it immediately though. In the other room the main shower head wasn’t working. There was also a strange bar blocking the window in one of our rooms, probably for reinforcement, but no view due to that…

Fantastic location.

The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful and the hotel is perfectly located for shopping and sightseeing. Unfortunately the company in charge of the restaurant is different to the company in charge of the hotel. Despite having paid for five breakfasts, after our first breakfast on the 7th floor we ate out.. . The food was low quality and apart from the amazing view (the view of the Acropolis dominates the city and is readily replicated in quite a few nearby restaurants on high floors) -there is little to attract anyone back to this particular restaurant.

most rooms have a very poor view. Smaller than advertised/pictures. no amenities . A tiny reception desk. really bad quality breakfast. dry, hard - almost stale puffs, watery juice .. just poor quality breakfast overall. better breakfast in a cheap motel in the US.. Overpriced for what I thought was going to be an upgraded room. this being a very busy pedestrian street, taxi/cars can’t get here during busy hours. we had to walk a little with our luggage to get to the hotel.
