Ilian Beach

This is the perfect place to spend some relaxing time with your familiy. Staff is excellent and very friendly, also most of the people seemed to be there for at least 2nd time and that is for a perfect sign. For people with todlers you'd love the grass area near the pool where your kids can crawl easly and not on floor tiles as most of the other locations. Also, great equiped kitchinette.

It was not such a big deal, but I'd seek a way to have better soundproof windows, but I understand it might be extremly hard. Not a problem for us, but it might be in some cases.

The apartment was in a nice quiet location, far enough away from but close enough to walk to all the amenities of Rethymnon. It was really nicely decorated and extremely clean (cleaned every day apart from Sunday) and a lovely gift of water, tea/coffee, toiletries and a small bottle of Raki was left to welcome us. All the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us. The balcony overlooked the pool area with a fabulous bar and the amazing sandy beach was just beyond that with sunbeds and shade. We preferred to walk a little way to the left where the beach became a little more private and less organised. There is also a private parking area within the hotel grounds. There is a small mini market just around the corner but also a larger supermarket only a few minutes walk on the main street along with a great bakery/coffee shop and some great, very reasonably priced restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel (Bar 1+1 and our absolute favourite 'Acropolis'). Rethymno Old Town was just a 45 min walk along the beachfront promenade and is really a must see place to visit with some really nice restaurants and bars too.

The balconies all overlook each other so they are not very private although everyone was so friendly that it was nice to wave 'kalimera' to everyone.

The property is brand new and finishing is exceptional well. Nicely equipped with everything you need in studio apartment, I had a one-bedroom apartment with large balcony and great view of sea and swimming pool. Location is great right next to the beach, all the shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk. We did a lovely 2.5 km walk to Rethymno town centre. I would highly recommended staying here.

Wifi speed could be better but works great for everything you need. Parking can get busy during peak season so you will need to find parking near by but enough spaces nearby to park.

Very nice resort right at the beacht with a beautiful and well kempt garden. Some distance away from the busy tourist hotspots, so you can have a really relaxed and calm holiday there. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had basic kitchen equipment. The owners and staff at the beach bar were extremely attentive and took really good care of their customers.

Furniture in our apartment was rather outdated and doesn't really fit the overall very good impression of the resort.

Perfect spot. The property is truly beach front, no need to cross a road as usual. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were with a 10 months old baby, they had everything necessary. The beach bar is open all-day long. I can really recommend it.

There is nothing we didn't like.

Everything. From the first moment Maria met us with a cool drink, explained everything and was always available. Beautiful view across the pool to the beach which was about 30 metres away. Close to supermarkets, restaurants at nearby hotels and lots of tavernas and bakeries. Very friendly small resort. Loved our stay and met some great people.

Nothing

The uncomplicated check-in was very pleasant as well as the welcome drink which I appreciated very much. The room offered everything which one desires for a vacation. Great view to the pool and the sea beyond from the balcony. It's only a few steps to the beach. Quiet at night, perfect room service and Maria was great. I'd stay there again anytime.

We liked how close it was to the beach. It wasnt overcrowded and sunbeds were always available. We also liked cats in the neighborhood.

We never knew when we can expect the cleaning lady, so it was difficult to plan the day.

Very hospitable stuff - Maria, Manuel and Elias were great hosts who made us felt like home. They even offered us an upgrade for our room. The pool was very clean and never crowded. The beach was right in the front and we got the chance to enjoy a beautiful sunset everyday. Location was very convenient to the center and also to other destinations on foot, by bus or by car.

The comfortable beds, the balcony, the beach front location, the friendly staff, the room service, the cleanliness, the beautiful setting with plants and grass, the perfect wifi, the hot shower with good water pressure, the hairdryer, the easy parking, the welcome drinks, the AC, the value for money, the pool. 2 sun beds are also cheap at 5€/day. All in all, fantastic!

We prefer thick comforters which they didn't have, not a deal breaker of course.
