Colors Urban Hotel Thessaloniki

Urban, chic small hotel in a very center of Thessaloniki, in Tsimitski street. Hotel is on walking distance to Aristotelous square, White tower, shops and restorants. Our room was oriented toward small street with orange trees. It was perfectly quiet, although it's center of the town. I can say only good things about hotel and highly professional stuff. Rooms are spacious, designed in original, artistic manner. Breakfast was served in small garden and the choice was great. There was a possibillity to park the car in the garage, which is about two hundred meters far from the hotel and it was charged 18 euros per day. We have no doubt that we"ll come to this hotel next year again.

the location is perfect, especially if you want to go to the pier for dinner or if you want to stroll along the water. Shops and great restaurants are all close. The staff is really friendly. The breakfast is quite good, with some local specialties. You can sit nicely outdoors if you want for breakfast. The hotel has a great atmosphere. The children loved the swing chair in the room. It all looks super nice.

The room is really nice and the big bunk bed is nice too. The children wanted to sleep in the high bed of course (we had a family room) but the beds do make squicky sounds when the children move. there are earplugs next to the bed that you need to use.

We had a cosy, well equipped and stylish room with a balcony and beautiful view, a comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Everything has been clean. The staff has been VERY friendly, the breakfast was brilliant!! There is plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, also a huge, quite cheap parking lot.

For those who prefer to sleep with an open window, the big street and the nightlife in front of the hotel will let you wake up several times at night (to be fair: the hotel placed ear plugs next to the bed!), maybe the backside of the hotel is a bit more calm, but this I don't know.

The hotel is designed in such a way that it is full of witty inscriptions, the room is comfortable and has everything a business traveler needs. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help. The location of the hotel is very good. Everything is close to you (coast, shops, restaurants, sights, taxi stands, ATM).

During the renovation of the hotel, the windows were not changed (probably the conservators did not allow it), so the hotel still has single-glazed windows that do not prevent noise from outside. I thought it would be a problem, but I slept like a baby. Ear plugs are waiting for you by the bed in case the noise bothers you.

The location of the hotel; when looking out of the window, we saw the museum opposite the hotel in a little, quiet street and the room was above the Garden restaurant which made us feel comfy. The room was very big and comfortable for two people to leave the luggage and organize oneself. Enough room to put the suitcase was great! The bathroom and the room were decorated beautifully with nice details. Blue tiles in the bathroom with copper handles. The guy at the reception, I think Michalis, was very friendly and did everything to let us check in a bit earlier than planned. Breakfast was great with everything we needed in a beautiful room with open doors to the terrace.

The staff at the garden restaurant seemed a bit stressed when we sat outside at a little bar. They ignored us for some time and we left without having a drink, but then checked in. It was not a big problem but a detail, I would mention at a team meeting. A guy working there was very friendly though; when he tried to clean some honey from the floor, he asked me to be careful, not to step into the honey. The same guy was working at breakfast and again was really friendly when asking which coffee we would like. I think it was a matter of bad timing when we waited outside, so never mind :-). We would come back ;-).

The room was new and with really nice modern furniture. The location of the hotel was really good, close to all the main sights in Thessaloniki, including bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were polite, nice and available. Breakfast was both sweet and savory with plenty of food options. I extremely liked the restaurant within the hotel which offered good food for a good price.

My room was facing the main street, so there was a continuous traffic noise at all the time which did not allow me to get a proper sleep at night.

Very special hotel, in a renovated old building that probably was one of the many of the old cloth industry of Thessaloniki. That's why the ceiling height was unusually high for a hotel which created a very good feeling. Also we were lucky with our room to have a view down to Nikis st. and the sea, which was great. The location is excellent as you have everything in a short walking distance. Staff, facilities etc all excellent. Another special point is the all day cafe restaurant in the ground floor that gathers young people all day, not only hotel guests.

A con is that during the weekend there was some noise from the street due to the proximity of the hotel to "ladadika" and because our room was looking at Tsimiski street.

An eclectically decorated hotel that communicates a young vibe. The receptionists were lovely and ever helpful, the chambermaid always greeted me with a smile, the hotel is extremely central, in the middle of the main shopping street of Thessaloniki and minutes away from the seafront. I was given a marvellous room on the top floor. The Garden Bar did not have an enormous variety of food, but that was not needed because what there was was delicious. And a very friendly staff. A wonderful hotel which provides an experience.

Honestly, not much to gripe about.

This is a gorgeous hotel, beautifully decorated and the rooms are very large and nice. The place is quite clean, though cleaners could replace glasses more frequently instead of doing that for towels. Most of the staff go out of their way to help you out. People are very friendly. Breakfast is good-probably better on the weekends.

The street facing rooms are VERY NOISY. I don't know the quality of their triple glazing- I have an office in central london with only double and it keeps noise out better than their windows. It was impossible to sleep at night because of the motorcycles and the loud music (particularly bad on weekends). The curtains are also not wide enough to cover the entire window and there is a shop across the street with a particularly bright electronic ad sign which floods your room with light like it's daytime. It's very annoying. They couldn't move me either because they were full apparently. So sleepless trip.

The hotel staff are kind and professional. Breakfast is typical continental breakfast - good quality. The best thing about the hotel is location - it is very close to the sea front and main street of Thessaloniki. Some small restaurants with high quality food are nearby. And for shoppers - all stores (esp. for shoes and clothes) are within 5-10 minutes.

Our room faced the street and one might find the area quite noisy, especially on Saturday nights. Unlike the hotel staff, some of the waitresses at the garden bar where breakfast is served were not polite as one would expect.
