Mediterranean Palace

Everything about this hotel is perfect. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel right at home by helping you with anything that you need. Could not speak highly enough about every individual that I spoke with during my stay. The room was spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay that much better. With buffet breakfast, pending your dietary requirements, you have a variety of options to choose from. And, one of the positives about staying here is that the city centre is not even a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so you have an abundance of stores and restaurants to choose from.

staff excellent, impressive building ( less than 50 years old), central location (but), food good

no roof top bar (massive missed opportunity), no swimming pool (a small plunge pool in spa), overlooks car parks ( with harbour and sea in distance) rooms on Λαδάδικα side will pick up noise from Road (pretty much par for Greece, I suppose) but sound proofing won’t keep out loud music from bars/ clubs- it was so bad we couldn’t sleep until 0100 and asked to be relocated ( which we were without any fuss) so unless you don’t go to be till late or are deaf think carefully about your room choice

The hotel location was great, and the room was very well-decorated. Breakfast was really good with everything we could ask for. Beds were comfortable. So all in all a good enough hotel

Pool was minuscule and practically non-existing. The bidet in our room did not work. We asked for someone to fix he came without knocking and did not fix it. We paid for a room with an extra bed and did not get the extra bed. The staff was nice, but nothing beyond and did not try to make any extra step toward us. We ordered a room with a bath and got one without it. The reception told us this was an upgrade. When we asked for the room we ordered, they questioned us if we used the room (we did not) that they gave us originally.

Mediterranean Palace is like a little gem at the heart of the city. Its design is luscious, romantic and royal at the same time. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, the executive suite is beautiful and spacious.

One year ago we had our wedding at Mediterranean hotel and stayed at this suite. We were excited to return for our anniversary at the same suite, we informed the hotel about the reason of our visit and to our surprise there was no welcome gift...no fruits, wine etc. Nothing. Moreover, they advertise the suite having luxury products in its bathroom, we remember them from last year. This time they offered the basic products that the simple rooms had. Moreover, some of them were used and half full. Other than that, our stay was very nice, but these small details left an unpleasant taste to us.

The promptness of service- exceeded expectations. The staff were very efficient, thoughtful, and accommodating. We made 3 requests during our stay and all were attended to within leas than 5 minutes from the time we made the call. Valet service was also free,

The AC in our room- our first night was challenging due to the AC that did not work properly in 32 degree weather. Worked well the next day- we had to keep all the drapes closed to cool the room throughout the day as we had a South-facing room. Other than this, everything else exceeded expectations

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfasts. Convenient for two nice cafes/restaurants on the old harbour and for the promenade along the harbour front to the White Tower.

Two small points (feedback rather than complaints): All coffees at breakfast are individually made and served. The coffee is excellent, but there's a bit of a bottleneck when the breakfast room is busy. The sliding door to our bathroom was very heavy to open - someone who was rather small or frail could have problems getting out once it had closed.

Wonderful, professional staff which was extraordinary in serving needs of guests. Front desk personnel provided valuable assistance in locating medical facility when I became ill and required hospitalization. Also, front desk director became personally involved during my medical emergency and provided assistance while seeking return of my wife’s wallet which was lost and later recovered at the Sani Resort. This support was exceptional and helped make our stay even more memorable.’

The service was fantastic, extremely helpful friendly staff. Outstanding location for city exploration.

The hotel has been renovated and modernised to a fantastic level. A lot of work has been put into this and they try their best to keep it like this. However, the air condition was not very efficient in one of the rooms, and the shower’s drain was blocked by excess water everyone we had a shower. That said they have sent a technician immediately who slightly mitigated the problem.

The rooms were very well cleaned and the towels changed every day. The hotel is very central and there is a large concentration of good local restaurants right next to it. The rooms were also rather spacey.

This is actually a matter of taste, but as well as restaurants, right next to the hotel there are also outdoor bars or discos that play loud music until early morning hours. On our first nights we didn’t sleep much because of that, but the issue was quickly resolved by the helpful staff, who moved us to another room in the opposite side of the building.

Fantastic 5 star property a short walk from the sea side promenade right near the port where the cruise ships dock. Easy to access if you have a rental car. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and service top notch. I accidentally pulled on a cord in the bathroom and got a call asking if everything was ok since I had pulled on the emergency help button if one falls in the Bathroom. That’s the level of attention to detail.
