Porto Palace Hotel Thessaloniki

They were very kind and called me on the phone the day before arrival to ask me what I wanted for breakfast due to allergies which I wrote as a note when booking and it is a great gesture even though at breakfast the service was not at a high level, better to say on less then average level. Upgraded room on arrival. The hotel is good, but just good, has a large free parking and very nice roof top bar.

In my opinion, it is not for tourists, it is more for business and private events and celebrations. The location is very strange and debatable, between cranes, containers in the part of port. During the day, we could not go out on the roof top terrace because they were preparing it for some event. That day was obviously very busy in the whole city, so the prices was higher in all hotels, but 300 euros per night, was definitely too much for the quality of the hotel and service, despite the fact that they upgraded our room on arrival, for which I am grateful.

Great place, lovely staff, I’m totally in love with Porto Palace Hotel. 5 minutes from the city center by taxi, the taxis are less than 6 euro for the route. Excellent and brand new fitness center for people like me who love to workout. Very good breakfast! I’m very thankful for everybody who I met at the front desk. Amazing and so kind and friendly. They deserve the best!

A very nice hotel. Super clean, comfortably furnished. Gentle, minded staff warned me for not changing my room, as it is better than i insisted. I choosed my room from booking and mentioned my stay as “pleasure”. This choice is supposed to mean that a large bed rather than two beds. I strongly should mention the breakfast. Fresh materials, a very diverse taste ranged customers would fullfill their criteria. The localisation is a little bit far from the hearth of the city but it still in the walking distance range. The building should had been a warehouse or something, as it re-done as pleaurably as much. The rooms are big and full of sun light. I totally enjoyed my stay in Thessaloniki

I had an amazing stay at Porto Palace as every detail was carefully taken care of. The room was exceptionally equipped with everything a business traveler could ask for, the staff accommodated extremely quickly and effectively a couple of ad hoc requests as I had a last minute 'equipment emergency' and had to find chargers for my laptop and cell phones that would work with Greek plugs (a personal thank you to Nikos who went over and above to help me out), and lastly but not least the breakfast was to die for! I highly recommend it and I am looking forward to staying again at my next business trip in Thessaloniki.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Thessaloniki and was impressed with the spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent, very spacious room, nice and functional bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, free drink in the mini bar (cans of Pepsi and Mirinda and two bottles of water). Excellent breakfast

Small windows in the room (the whole hotel including corridors and rooms seems very dark), for the parking lot we did not find out until the end of the stay if there was a security guard or not. The card key is automatically demagnetized immediately in the morning on the day of departure, even though check out is at 12:00. The staff is a little out of sorts

Excellent service, very nice and luxurious hotel with really nice rooms. The breakfast was very tasty. The view from the terrace was amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, true professionals.

It wasn't really a big problem, but I would have liked to have a small fridge in my room.

Comfortable and clean. Safe parking adiacent to the hotel. Very good and varied breakfast. The hotel has a nice restaurant on the terrace - the food was excellent.

The location of the hotel - there seems to be nothing to do there. But we knew that going in, so this was not a surprise.

My room (158) had a small window and the view was limited by an old building. Small spa.
