Conways B&B

On arrival I was given a coffee and cake - The property was clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities. The owners were friendly and most helpful with my enquiries about tracing my relations - they enquired with their priest to assist with advice. One owner took me in his own car to show me my areas of interest that I may not have found otherwise. Most friendly and helpful!

Slight suspicion that the drains had a smell! A perfectly adequate air freshener was available but that only masks the problem!

Although located on a busy road, peace and quiet rulke once you turn onto the property of Conway's B&B. A beautiful garden immediately shows you how much love and attention Pat and Carmel invest in this lovely B&B. The reception was courteous and the room immaculate. The pointers on where to go for a walk and eat something in nearby Claremorris were very useful. The highlight was a lovely breakfast with homemade courgette-bread (Glad I asked for the recipe...).

Fantastic place.initial concern no on suite but the toilet and shower room were only a step away.spotlessly clean and plenty shower gel and bodywash and towels so it certainly wasn't an issue..the hosts very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.as for the breakfast it was amazing.. Fantastic value for money..Will definitely be back.

There is nothing you couldn't like about this place.

Great location - less than a 5-minute drive from the town center. Nice quiet property with a very friendly neighbour cat that made sure to greet us on arrival - we wanted to take him home! The B&B owners were very nice and accommodating and even gave us some ideas of what to do on Sunday when we knew the shops would be closed for Easter. There was water, treats, tea & coffee waiting for us in the room which was fab. There was also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided in the shower which was great too. Breakfast was presented beautifully in the morning and tasted great! We were very happy with our stay.

Location excellent but leads onto very busy road. However very nice walking/running area down a side alley just 100meters off this main busy road. Beautiful gardens so well kept. Very clean facility and everything needed in the room. I did miss my own bathroom so next time would request the ensuite and happy to pay extra. Such lovely couple. Kind and genuine. The home made food was excellent especially the rhubarb tart on arrival and the lovely home made brown bread for breakfast.

Just would like my own bathroom for privacy. Otherwise this place is beautiful and the owners make you proud to be Irish.

Breakfast was all made fresh and amazing!!! Pat and Carmel could not have been more accommodating and were a pleasure to meet. Could not recommend this place more highly. The gardens and home were lovely. Bed was quite comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were good. Home was immaculate. Very thankful for our time there. Would hope to stay there again.

There was not a single thing I would say needed improving.

Patrick and Carmel were fantastic hosts. We checked in late and hadn’t eaten dinner. Patrick recommended a place and called them to make a reservation for us. The room was just what we needed- a clean comfy bed with a private bathroom. The garden outside was beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, especially the fresh fruit. I wish we were near the area again while on our trip and we would have stayed longer. We’ve already recommended others that we have met along our trip.

The Full Irish Breakfast was AMAZING! Carmel does a most beautiful job. Her cooking is the finest homemade we had in all of Ireland. Her attention to detail, the cleanliness of her home, every consideration was taken into account. The pressed linens, the fluffy towels, the homemade snack upon arrival, her homemade scones and muffins, fresh fruit cup, etc.. EVERYTHING was PERFECTION. The only issue was our bed and that was not their fault. We've decided we need a king sized bed because that's what we sleep in at home and are most comfortable in. Pat was most courteous and welcoming, offered adult evening refreshments. We very highly recommend dining at The Old Arch Bar & Bistro, the quality of food for price very excellent, restaurant beautiful, staff excellent. We DO NOT recommend eating at O'Flanigan's, only person working, other person was greeter only, not server, food was poor quality, higher priced and not worth the trouble.

We need a king sized bed

The hosts were extremely welcoming, ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was cosy with a gorgeous view of their lovely gardens. The shared facilities were clean, efficient and easily accessible. Breakfast is amazing! Fresh fruit, scones & soda bread, cereal and freshly cooked to order hot breakfast.

WiFi was quite patchy, with 2 boys glued to devices it was a bit tricky, however we ended up playing cherades so not the end of the world.

Pat and Carmel were so lovely. They really minded us in every way they could. The breakfasts each morning were superb. We booked 2 bedrooms between four of us but we also had the use of a separate living room, which was very much appreciated.

The wifi wasn't strong throughout the house. Perfect in the breakfast room, patchy in the bedrooms and non-existent in the front living room. The garden opens onto a very busy main road, which my dogs aren't used to; so I needed to have the dogs on leads immediately they left the house. I would have preferred a separate secured garden area to let the dogs into as a buffer.
