Loved the location. Overlooking the harbour, 2 mins walk to everything Cobh has to offer. The room was very comfortable. I was in room 16 and had 2 windows, one overlooking the harbour and the other looking towards the town. Best of both worlds. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Staff were so helpful. Free parking under the hotel. Train station with frequent trains to Cork City almost next door.

Just missing a cosy bar. You could have a drink in the restaurant, but not the same as having a separate bar with comfy seating to chill and socialise after a busy day sightseeing.

The hotel was in a perfect location, really close to the train station. The room was big and very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and the shower was modern and clean.

The room was not ready for check in from 3pm, and we were told it would be ready in half an hour several times. A friend of ours then overheard staff complaining to each other because we had expressed dissatisfaction with this delay. It would have been nice if staff appreciated that for the price of the hotel, and the fact we had young children staying with us, it was disappointing not to have access to the room as advertised.

We were in room 4 - a light-filled, very spacious and comfortably furnished room with a good view of the waterfront and Spike Island. Handy location for the Heritage Museum, JF Kenndy Park, the Titanic Experience and various boat trips. Our check in was quick and easy, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our evening meal and breakfast were well presented, filling and very tasty.

No pool or gym facilities. No lift or internal access to the underground car park. The cleaner had missed a scattering of what looked like powdered milk that had been spilled on the dressing table and around the wastepaper bin.

The hotel is nicely updated inside and is located right on the water in Cobh, which provided a wonderful sea view from our room. Also, our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was not included in our reservation but the next morning we found a food truck with terrific scones along our five-minute walk to the Titanic Experience. Several other breakfast spots were nearby as well. Hotel parking was included - an underground garage which was secure and very convenient. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, tourist info, the port, and has its scenic view of the St. George’s Channel. We recommend the WatersEdge Hotel for those staying in Cobh.

Everything was good.

Great location next to cruise terminal and central to Cobh waterfront, restaurants and shops. We didn’t eat in the restaurant at the hotel but can recommend the Quays for dinner next store. Hotel is a bit dated and lacks modern conveniences. No mini fridge or wireless casting to TV in family size rooms. Beds & bathroom were ok and functional but again dated. However, you can’t beat the location & the price is good value especially for a 3 person room!

Hotel is a bit dated and lacks modern conveniences. No mini fridge or wireless casting to TV in family size rooms. Bedding not super comfortable.

Fabulous location and welcoming staff. View from out room and the dinning area was exceptional. Dinner was delicious, the breakfast was ok but not as good as dinner. Despite this we would still stay again and recommend to family or friends visiting Cobh. We would just request a room without this issue next time. We really enjoyed the titanic experience and our visit to Spike Island which were less than 5 minute walk from hotel.

The only issue we had with our room was the window opened the full way out and the handle did not lock or close over fully which made us nervous as travelling with a small child.

The water front location next to cruise ship docking quay and rail station was perfect with plenty of harbour activity during and day, but quiet at night to aid sleeping. The hotel restaurant with harbour views was good although very busy on Sunday afternoon resulting in slow service. The service was excellent during the week thanks to our waitress Meg. Breakfast was buffet style but as it was included in the room price it was good. The hotel room was spacious and clean with our towels changed daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the underground free car parking was a bonus.

All was good.

The location of this hotel is probably the best location that you'll ever find! The views are amazing and is also very quiet! I didnt love the breakfast but it was OK. They had canned fruit, cereals, drinks, sausages, eggs, etc. (Items that you would use for an Irish breakfast) Some healthier options would be nicer. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beds: We booked a room with 2 beds; the twin size bed wa hardly a bed. The mattress was absolutely terrible, you could feel the springs in the mattress. We asked for a room change due to the issue and they changed the room for us. I cant say the bed were overly confortable, it seems to be they are due an upgrade. Breakfast: As mentioned previously there weren't too many healthy options. I wanted to eat some yogurt but the days I was there they didnt had enough for all the guest. Fruit is canned and I didnt like that. After 2 days of staying there and having the same breakfast, you kind of get sick of it.

Beautiful little hotel right on the edge of the harbour. Rooms had a view to die for. We had room overlookin harbour and woke up on the first morning to the view of giant cruise ship passing by our window. Very comfortable room with smart tv (netfix etc. included), tea/coffee making etc. Excellent, self serve breakfast incl. full irish, continental, juices, fruit etc. Staff were very friendly and proffessional and made us feel very welcome. Cobh is one of the nicest towns in Ireland and if you are going to visit I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The hotel is extremely clos to the train station, literally a 2 minute walk. It is right on the water, and the restaurant looks out over the inlet. Everything in Cobh is close - you can walk across the city in 15 minutes, and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in addition to the Titanic museum which is just down the road. We also used this as home base to go to Blarney Castle which is not that far away.

The food at the Waters Edge is wonderful, as is the food in the restaurant next door. If they had a couple more restaurants in town, that would be great, but really, 2 days in town is good.
