My nicely decorated and comfortable first floor room room had a lovely outlook over the courtyard. The manager helped me with my luggage and put my wheelie bag in the luggage lift for me upon arrival which was much appreciated. Great location close to O'Connelly Street (departure point for bus tours and walking tours) and within easy walking distance to many attractions such as Trinity College, EPIC, River Liffey, the Famine Memorial etc. Breakfast in the conservatory was just lovely. Extra special thank you to the kitchen staff who were very attentive and friendly. The service they provided with cooked breakfasts and fresh coffee was very quick. Luggage storage after checkout was also appreciated. Security was good with card entry to the guesthouse. Thank you :)

Nothing.

The staff were all fantastic. There is a nice breakfast room, which was included in the rate, the bedroom and bath were clean, towels plentiful and the beds were comfortable. There is an instant hot water kettle and coffee and tea bags in the room.

Just a note that there isn’t an elevator in the main building, but the front desk clerk actually carried our heaviest bags up, so it was a great checkin experience. There is an elevator in the back building so it’s just a question of which building your room is located in. We didn’t see any tissues in the room or bath, but otherwise all the necessities were there.

Room was lovely. super clean, fresh and cozy. Bathroom super clean and the water pressure from the shower was quite decent considering what one can usually find in Dublin. The area where the hotel is located is not the nicest, nor the best. Can get a bit dodgy, and I don't know if I would recommend walking around there alone in the middle of the night. BUT the connection to the center is very good. Trinity College and Temple Bar can be reached with a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was included in the price and the Full Irish was delicious. there is also coffee, tea, bread, cereal and some fruit to grab. If you need to leave the hotel before the breakfast time starts, they will leave you bread and cereal so you can have something before leaving the hotel. Staff was always nice and helpful.

Very friendly staff! Both the night and day staff were very approachable and informative. The check-in and check-out was smooth and quick. The place is spotless! Very convenient location. The room was charming, overlooking the little courtyard. The room had everything you would need including a hairdryer and fan. My request for extra pillows was definitely met. I had a great sleep. Best of all was the shower! Rainfall type of shower with great pressure. The breakfast was nice, making the Dublin city prices more value for money. Full Irish options made to order wich was great. Wish I was staying more than one night! Will definitely be back! :D

Very little to complain about for this stay! The only downside was the lack of an elevator and the lack of continental breakfast options, I wish there was a couple of fresh pastry options in the morning and bigger glasses for the juices but the Irish breakfast made to order was lovely.

The room was clean and comfortable. I am very picky about cleanliness of where I sleep, and this place was up to my high standards. It was also right in walking distance to the heart of Dublin. We had a car that we left parked during our whole stay in one of the nearby garages. We used the HopOnHopOff bus for touring the city since it was such an easy walk from the hotel. There were also plenty of places to easily walk to without needing the bus. This was my hope when booking here and it did not disappoint. I was 6 months pregnant for my stay here and very happy about this booking. I did know ahead of time that there was no elevator at the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a luggage lift.

Clean, airy and good features. Staff very polite and helpful. Room large, comfortable, clean, plenty of storage, well equipped. Good breakfast.

Unfortunately the basement room we were allocated was under the entrance lobby and office. The room itself was very good - spacious, plenty of storage, comfortable beds. But the designers had forgotten to factor in footsteps, suitcase wheel noises etc that could be heard when other residents entered the building above our room. No problem when we weren’t in the room, obviously, but at 2am? Um - bit of a disturbance! I am sure had we been on another floor we would have had an undisturbed sleep.

Overall, the property exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and it had all the amenities we needed, the location is quite central, a 10 minutes walk to the river bank. The breakfast was the surprising part as it consisted of a small buffet area with different sweets (eg. muffins), toast, gems, butter, yoghurt, cheese, fruits (oranges, bananas, pears), orange and apple juice, muesli and on top of this the staff brings coffee (we asked for decaf) or tea to the table and you can also choose between 3 types of cooked breakfast: vegetarian (fried eggs with beans and tomatoes), scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, or the full Irish breakfast.

At first we saw it as an inconvenience that we had to schedule the breakfast time at the reception (every day until 11 am, for the next day) as there are only a few tables in the dining area and if you go at random hours (between 7-11 am) you might not find seats. However, we forgot to choose a time slot for the last day and there was no problem at all: we went around 8.40 as usually at 9.00 it gets the most crowded. If you want to have breakfast later, another disadvantage might be that the buffet area gets short of some products and maybe it is not refilled immediately.

Very friendly staff and the free breakfast can be a full Irish, if you'd like. They also let me have a continental when my tour was earlier. Very clean rooms & exactly as advertised in pictures. Bed was ok - my back hurt a bit, but I have a bad back. Water pressure was great & water gets warm fast! Dumbwaiter available for luggage as the elevator isn't in service.

The walls are paper thin - definitely bring ear plugs! I could hear the conversation my neighbors were having. The neighborhood was described as "the budget option" and "the ghetto" by Irish folk that I met, but I felt safe enough walking through at 6 am in the dark, so more just something to be aware of.

The decoration of the room and the whole hotel was great. It was really clean. Loved the bathroom and especially the shower. Also loved the fact that they had an outdoor area after the reception where I could smoke and take some air.

The price is extremely high for a single room in the middle of January. There was no heating during the night hours when I came back wet after a rainy night. The breakfast could have more options, though the pregnant lady serving was really nice. There was a fan in the room, which I obviously didn't use since there is no need in January, but it was full of dust.

The location is perfect, everything was within walking distance and the area felt generally safe. The hotel and our room was nice and clean. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone :)

The breakfast was like your typical British breakfast with eggs, beans, sausages, bacon, also butter, jams, cereals available on the counter. The service was nice and the breakfast area was lovely. However there wasn't much option for vegetarian breakfast that left me sad personally.
