Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the hotel standard linen. Quite location. The food in the café was excellent. I had my breakfast and lunch there.

It wasn't clear that the facilities were so limited i.e. no kettle, TV (not that they were a priority but they might have been). Hooks on the back of the doors would have been convenient due to the limited space. I didn't realise that there was a 25% discount in the café until after I paid for my breakfast (as they didn't know I was a resident until after I paid) but I was reimbursed which was appreciated.

Within half a mile or.so from Galway center, so close to the action. Clean room, self check-in, parking was good. Shower/bathroom was separate but private, clean and good water pressure/temperature. Communication with owner was quick. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here.

None of these were issues for us, but worth mentioning for future travelers. First, there is a Mocha Beans and a Mocha Beans 37 on the same street. Trust your GPS, it should be the second one, the 25 Newcastle address. Can be confusing after dark. Second, this is just a room, which is what we needed. If you need a bunch of bells and whistles, this is not the.place.for.you. If.ypu need a clean, safe place to crash and have a hot shower, then you'll be good here. These are not complaints, just heads-ups for folks that don't read the full description before booking

Room and bathroom was very comfortable and very clean. Rooms are well sound proofed and there is not much disturbance from other guests. Shower has great water pressure. WiFi was great. I left too early to have breakfast, but coffee shop downstairs has a great atmosphere.

The private bathroom was not locked when not in use, so there is no assurance that others are not making use of the bathroom. You cannot leave you Toiletries ect in the bathroom BUT that being said the bathroom was emaculately clean and tidy.

Accessing the room was simple and hassle free, and the room itself was very comfy. We especially liked the luxurious bed and good shower. We also had coffee and porridge in the cafe and found it very satisfying.

As it was listed on the website as having parking (one of our criteria for picking accommodation) we arrived in our van expecting there to be spaces available to guests of the B&B, but when we arrived we found the small car park full with cafe customers which meant we had drive around looking for other parking nearby. We called and the man said it was first come first served for parking so we ended up waiting until the evening to park the van outside.Added a wee bit of stress. I am aware now that spaces are limited so I think if the parking situation was mentioned on the website that would be ideal. Otherwise, no complaints!

Great location, easily walkable to Spanish quarter and surrounds, cozy room, little small but that was expected! Bathroom was clean, shower had good temperature and pressure, parking was easy but I think we got lucky!

The use of the space could’ve been better, maybe less clutter of shelving, and something usable like a little tray or table would be great. Also the bath towels weirdly left fluff all over us, had to literally pull it all off our skin.

You let yourself into the property (main/side entrance) and into your room using a code that has been sent to your phone.The room was clean and the place was quiet.

There isn't a lift.The room was small.There was a bed, a bedside lamp on a stand, a wardrobe and a chair in the room (this is all that would fit in the room).There was no tea/coffee making facility in the room but there was a bottle of water and a glass.

Great location to the city. Room was spot on, had everything we needed. No kettle or anything but The Coffee shop below had lovely coffee & food. The shower was fab.

Bunk bed was a lil shaky, the ladder is not usable as its not safe which is grand for an adult but our 7 year old couldnt climb up herself and then wouldn't sleep in it so her Dad had to instead.

Location was great (15 min walk to Latin Quarter), free car parking onsite, bathroom was excellent. Easy access with key pad with code.

I didn’t have access to a kettle (which I know now is not on the list of items supplied). As we are roadtripping the UK we need access to boiling water to clean our used items from the day and/or have a cup of tea/coffee. I know there is a coffee shop downstairs but I prefer to make my own and it’s not open late enough for tea before bed. As it is daylight till about 10:30pm, a block out blind is needed in the room - the room has too much light coming in. Pillows are terrible in my opinion.

The communication leading up to our arrival was great. The accommodation itself is basic but very clean and bright. It was everything we needed for our stay in Galway and was the perfect base for us (i'd like to give a special mention to the shower facilities, they were amazing). A point to note, it's a 20 odd minute walk into town but we quite like a walk and didn't find it an issue.

There wasn't much not to like.

Nice little room with newly fitted bathroom opposite corridor. Good communication from the host re door codes and access etc. Free parking. Very quiet.

Automatic door closers on the bathroom and bedroom doors are set to be far too stiff and are very hard to open, these can be easily slackened off. Shower waste is slow and doesn't drain fast enough and after 1 minute in the shower, you have to turn shower off to let the water drain away before it spills out over the shower tray and onto the floor.
