We found a very clean and confortable accommodation very close to the train station, but also to the city center. It was very clean and tidy. But I think what we liked most was the staff, both Reception and the cleaning lady who were always kind, caring and willing to help with whatever we needed... And they did that always smilling. We totally recommend!

We didn't like that the room was smaller than expected, but that was not particularly the main problem. What bothered us is that on Booking.com the rooms had different prices according to size, which is not what we found. But that was not the fault of the Fonticine Residence

The location was amazing, we could walk to all attractions in max 15-20 minutes. Staff was so lovely, they reached out to us a couple of times in advance. Our room was clean and big. Check in and out process was smooth. We had an air-co which worked well.

Our room didn't really have a window (It did but facing a wall) so it was stuffy. Breakfast was really bad, no hot meals like scrambled egg or omelette, just croissant and coffee basically. They only had one type of cheese, they didn't even serve tomatoes.

First, this is a residence in a building, first floor belongs to them, the reception is open until 18:00 so be sure you are always in contact with them, the staff is very nice and helpful. Special thanks to Bonnie & Dorina! The price is fair, the rooms are small but clean, and the location is just perfect, 5 minutes aways from the train station and also the tourist attractions and shops. Because it’s a residence in an old building (but renovated) at the first floor, the street can be noisy (if you’re used to street noise it’s just normal, my husband was ok) so make sure you have earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The breakfast was included in the already good price and they had a little bit of everything, fresh products and good coffee so we enjoyed it. Also we had 2 bottles of water in the room at arrival and they offered us a sweet departure gift.

A spatious room with a spatious bathroom in a renovated old building with high ceilings that give a pleasant feeling of airness, positioned on the first floor, equipped with lift. Our room was situated on two corners of the building, it had also two small balconies, so you can see and hear 😉 all the vivid happening on the two streets below. The great thing about this place is that all the monuments and highlights are at walkable distance. Mercato Centrale is few minutes away, a greatly stocked Conad shop as well (direction towards the train station). A nice and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was basic, with sweet pastry and the essential drinks. For a B&B, I'd expect some more variety which for the host is not so expensive to incorporate (like bread, some cheese, cheese spreads, salami, eggs, fruit). If you expect quiet and silent nights this is not the thing here. The streets below get quite busy late at night. And the windows are not perfectly isolated. For us, this wasn't much of a problem but for some people it can be.

The location was the best thing about the hotel, it was really near everything. Also the staff was really friendly and the breakfast really complete. If you have doubts, go on with this place you won't regret it.

It's a minor thing, but if the TV would be an smart TV so I can cast from my phone something like netfliz or YouTube would be awesome. But again, it was not included and it's more like a recommendation

perfectly located to explore Florence and 5 minutes walk from the station. staff extremely helpful. very helpful with my intolerances with breakfast choices. would recommend and stay here again

liked everything . one small suggestion would be to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the room to make it perfect

Amazing location and friendly staff who worked hard to make our stay in Florence Fantastic. Would stay again in an instant. Comfry rooms and the perfect location to explore everything. The central market being around one corner and the train station another make this the perfect place to stay.

The second room was bigger, really clean, really comfortable and just everything was newer. We enjoyed our time there a lot. The breakfast was really good and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking is possible in the garage nearby, but costs 26€ per night.

We had two rooms during our stay - they were quite different. We had to move due to a water problem in the building. The first room was not as clean (little dusty and hair on floor), the bed not as comfy and the bathroom quite old (hair dryer and shower) and small. But the second room was really good.

exceptional!! our host was awesome! she showed us our room and gave us a map with attractions and things we could do during our stay in Florence, the room was very clean and fancy! love it very good breakfast and comfortable bed.! Nice people!!

The room was very comfortable, clean and enjoyable. Everything was very clean and cozy. The location is amazing. Just a couple of blocks away from the main train station and a short walking distance from different attractions. The customer service was outstanding, they help us very much in everything we needed. Breakfast was very tasty. We had a very enjoyable stay. Totally recommendable!

The only downside is the noise from outdoors. Since the place is located in an area with many traffic and pedestrians, it could be a little bit noisy during the night. However, we could relax very well.
