Probably the worst breakfast i’ve experienced in Italy. Almost nothing was fresh, too much packed in plastic. No fresh bread. I know it has to be covid-proof, but there are better ways to serve a safe meal.

During our Italy trips, we had stayed in a number of 4 stars hotel but none were as attentive as the Urban Market Hotel in Florence. My wife was impressed with their attention to details and excellent service. For example, this was the only hotel which make sure we have the right number of towels / slippers (there were 4 of us and previous hotels we had stayed in never gave us the correct number). The cleanliness of the rooms were also of a high standard, they always make sure the shoes were neatly arranged and they even found my son's earbud covering (despite us searching through the room). It's these little details which set them apart from other hotels. Summary of why we would highly recommend the Urban Market hotel: 1. Spacious and clean rooms - ample space for big luggages, toiletries provided were also of a high quality 2. Wide breakfast spread (cheese, bread, pate, fruits, yogurt, bacon, scrambled eggs, pancake, ham, several types of pantries and cookies etc.) - freshly prepared daily 3. Friendly staff - I would like to commend the front desk and kitchen staff who always served us with a smile and accomodated our requests for water refill, eating our buy-back at the lounge area, allowing us to have early access to the breakfast area when we have to depart early for our day trip etc. Thanks for going the extra mile to make our trip so special, we really appreciated it.

Everything was perfect but perhaps if there's 1 thing that can be improved - I would say the wifi can be enhanced. It was intermittent and I end up using my data plan.

This was our second time at this hotel. What made us come back was Giovani’s warm reception. He is always thinking about our well being, and make us feel welcome in Firenze. The overall staff is very good, but he is exceptional The property has small but very good, modern and silence rooms. They provided us with a bigger room this time at the first floor, so we didnt have to take the elevators everytime we went up, which was good. I also recommend having the cappuccino at breakfast, which is the best!

Glad to have chosen this wonderful boutique hotel. It is close-by to main sights and reachable by foot from all main transport hubs. We got there by rented car and it was super easy to park in front until staff came and safely drove the car to a nearby garage. Room was clean and featured a fresh design. Thank you for the nice welcome to you reception staff.

Limited breakfast options, but Florence has so much to offer in terms od food&drinks, so this is not really an issue. Menagere restaurant and bar is at walking distance for example.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It’s quiet at night and the rooms are really comfortable. The staff are so friendly and helpful and spoiled me on my birthday with a song, cake and candle at breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates left in the room! Really clean and stylish throughout and a great place to relax.

The shower cubicle was a bit too tiny for the rain shower and it was tricky to wash my hair!

Great location within an easy walk from Firenze SMN train station with numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. Hotel design was stylish and room was comfortable. Hotel was also extremely customer-oriented (we were able to store our luggage for two nights prior to checking in). On one of the nights during our stay, the hotel even provided every room with some complimentary biscotti.

Breakfast was lacking in hot options, but this is normal for Italian hotels, I guess!

The hotel was really good! The service, the staff, the location was nearby all the interesting places and the station. We were traveling with our son of 15 months and we booked an economy room which was upgraded to our surprise to a comfort room at the arrival. The room was spacious enough for the 3 of us and enough space for our infant to walk around. We were also travelling with 2 big suitcases. The bed was comfortable, the shower was sooo nice and an airconditioner we could operate by ourself AND all all the lights and operating system was touch screens/panel and also a plus point to the USB plug next to both side of the bed. The breakfast was delicious and so many choices. The American pancakes, eggs and bacon were soo YUMMM!!! Due to Covid all the food were packed in plastic bags, so hygienic. The staff were so thoughtfull on our check out they even ask if we want some drinks before we go and they even gave our son a balloon. A small gesture but so appriciated, our son loves balloons so it made his day! Unfortunately we only stayed her the last night of our Italy trip and also a last minute booking 2 days before the booking date, we stayed in an another hotel at the start of our trip..Don't know why we missed this hotel on Booking.com during our booking before our trip but we wish we could have stayed longer in this hotel. We will defitnitly stay in this hotel again when we visit Florence and this hotel is so recommended!!!

Less accessible if you travelling by car but that's the case in Florence when you stay near the city town.

1. Great location, just walking distance from train station 2. Plenty of options to eat nearby 3. Plenty of sightseeing options on walking distance 4. Modern room with all the light buttons were touchless. i felt very comforted and rested in the rooms. My husband mentioned multiple times that its a great hotel with affordable price 5. Great breakfast at no additional charges. The girl helping in the breakfast room was super nice and welcoming.

Convenient location near the train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella). Short walk away from the main places to visit. Walk down the street for 5 mins and you’re at the Duomo Giovanni was very friendly and helpful as what earlier reviews mentioned. Breakfast was quite a good spread considering the space constraints. Scrambled eggs were the best I’ve had at buffet breakfast. The pancakes were also perfect. Staff were attentive and friendly.

The staff are very hospitable and friendly, they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The location is very conveniently located, near the train station but sufficiently far enough from the rowdiness there. We stayed in the standard and deluxe rooms. Both have lovely decor and are well equipped, clean and well maintained.

Nothing to fault. Everything was great.
